I've been binge-watching your episodes, and this is one of the best series about wine I've ever seen on RUclips. Hope one day you'll make an episode in Türkiye, we have great wines. Keep up the great work, much love from Türkiye.
Just got back from spending 3 weeks in France, and two of those in Provence. Had an absolutely fabulous time, enjoyed some incredible food and wines, some beautiful beaches and hikes and lots of nice people. Can't wait to return.
Danke! From Deutschland. Your Episodes make memories come alive from when I lived in San Francisco and used to go to the wine country as often as possible. I miss it so much and it has been a key inspiration for me to take a WSET level 3 course and it opened up my view for all the wonderful wine growing areas all over Europe. Since I don't have as much time to travel right now, your show is my little escape. I am impressed with your show it combines just the right balance of wine facts, regional history and food traditions of the specific region you introduce your viewers to. Keep it up please. Will support your efforts. thanks to all who are involved in making this happen.
WOW! Thank you so much for all of this! First off, your support means the world! I'm so glad the show has been a bit of an escape. I love WSET, they do a great job educating and the 3rd level is pretty tough, so good luck! We are definitely going to keep going, and can't wait for you to see the rest of this season. Cheers, and thanks again! PS- A German episode WILL happen one day, I promise!
@@visforvino I know you are probably very busy so no need for a follow up comment from you on this one. I am looking forward to your episode of German wines. I appreciate them much more now, since I have learned about how great a product wine can be, when I lived in the US. Being able to go to all those wineries in Napa and Sonoma has really been my inspiration to take classes and get educated on wine. I have already completed the test for the WSET 3 years ago. But in wine you can always learn more. Keep up the great work with your companions. Thanks a million for your thorough work.
I have mixed feelings about San Francisco (and USA in general) "discovering" that Rosé wasn't just white zin...Having come to "the riviera" starting in 2007 off and on, I remember the cheap prices for top rosé in the area, but then in the early 2010's when SF, et al, discovered some brands of Provence rosé, the prices in the south of France for them started shooting up to the export prices...arrrggghhh...the 5 and 6 euro bottles started selling locally for the USA export prices of $15-$25/bottles. I eagerly paid those prices when living in SF just to get them, but now that I live in Nice France, I have to hunt for wineries that do not export to stay in my budget.
Latino canadian living in Portugal 🇵🇹 I love your show... The end made me cry.. You are the best with what you do. I love the simplicity in where I live .... Europe is the best. And Thank you 🙏 for this program. ❤️

was looking for some videos on rose before my vacation in a week and this one is such a gem - I could watch it over and over, the production is absolutely amazing and I gained so much knowledge while enjoying the beautiful scenery♥ Thank you so much! If you ever plan on visiting France again, please go to Alsace - their whites are the best ones I've ever tasted, unique, there are so many small producers and I bet you'd love the scenery as well💖
Congrats, this is the BEST introduction to Provence Rose I have ever seen-not only is it correct, but shows all the vineyards I continue to visit-and all the richness of Provence. The Ott family is famous in the region, and rightly so-they set the Gold Standard, and, fortunately, there are now quite a few vineyards whose Rose is very good indeed-come and visit!
Fabulous Provence ,where I spent my childhood holidays and where I return at 61 with my wife to remember the art of living this week .Thank you for reminding me how wonderful it is. we get lost in our lives while some toil a few get to see Provence.

Cassis is a gem of a place, had many Pastis on the harbor restaurants, of course also rosé and delicious food with all the wonderful local flavors. Thanks for recommending high-quality rosé wines. Since I plan to both downsize and avoid drinking outside of a wine's window, rosé will need a good excuse to enter my collection rather than just being bought as needed. Some of these seem like they'd stand up to a long time aging.

Hi Mike! Thank you! So we used to, hence why it’s in some of the older videos. However, we still occasionally sell wine packs from the episode through our partner retailer Back Room Wines. Vino VIPs get a discount, and sometimes the pack is only available to VIPs based on availability. The best way to stay up to date on these offerings is to sign up through for email list! 👍 (you can sign up bottom of our website).
A few reasons, but the main answer is we like to do both styles of episodes, which helps balance the show. Sometimes trying to fit several wineries into one episode means we don't really get to fully tell the story of any of them. And if we have a winery that can represent the region well, we like to dive deeper. On the other hand, sometimes it's fun to travel across a region if we feel there is a lot of different styles of wine worth exploring through the lens of multiple producers. The reality is whether we do 1 winery or 4, we're still only scratching the surface of a region; our goal is to get people to explore and dive deeper themselves! Hope this makes sense!
@@visforvino well, if that is so, it means you have room to grow your episodes, about how much you can tell about a Winery in the least amount of time. Because your best episodes in my point of view are certainly the ones you visit multiple wineries, like rias baixas albarinho episode, the very best in my opinion. When you do only one winery, is ok, but its like drinking a simple plain wine instead of a complex one that changes on the glass overtime.
Rose is way undervalued. It’s a Chinese food friendly wine, where lots of fish and soy sauce are used. Unfortunately Chinese ppl r obsessed w/ RED color-good luck, they endure tasting the iron flavor when paring RED WINE w/ soy sauce based food😅 I often bring my ROSE to friends wedding banquet, where they usually serve very poor quality red. Hoping more and more Asian ppl appreciate rose❤
As a Frenchman from Provence , let me tell you that you're encapsulate very well the wine culture, spirit and landscapes of Provence. Subscribed🙏👍

I enjoy this show very much, and i would like to know why some episodes you only visit 1 Winery?
Can anyone (the public) arrange a wine tasting at any of the Ott estates? I would love to visit any of them.
Absolutely! They are open to the public, some of the estates you can walk in and some are appointment I believe.
Rose is way undervalued. It’s a Chinese food friendly wine, where lots of fish and soy sauce are used. Unfortunately Chinese ppl r obsessed w/ RED color-good luck, they endure tasting the iron flavor when paring RED WINE w/ soy sauce based food😅
I often bring my ROSE to friends wedding banquet, where they usually serve very poor quality red. Hoping more and more Asian ppl appreciate rose❤
I 100% agree! It's a super versatile pairing wine, and great with lots of Asian cuisine!
Do you know if they offer tasting at OTT for the public?
Yes, they do! At all 3 estates!
i want to do this please!
Can you please make an episode on Alsace?!!
I've actually been trying to get in touch with the team over there; that's one I really want to do!
❤
