This shows once again how good of an actor Hanks is. The way he sets up the clip makes it sounds like he was being genuinely serious when talking about the plane and original plot of the movie. He looks completely natural.
Duh? U think? He's a professional
@@anthonytaylor7928 he is?
This is like finding a box of Mac & cheese in the back of the pantry being like... how long is this been here?
idk but i think they stopped making Rugrats mac n cheese 20 years ago so dont eat it
Boom. and Boom.
*has. How long has this been here?
This is the most vicious Tom Hanks has ever been.
Yes, and I love it!
You never saw Bachelor Party.
Execept when he went to Epstein Island
Let's ask Isaac Kappy.
Ah Yes! The good ole days of drinking out of a water fountain when you're literally dying of thirst.
Now, water fountains are just decorations.
I love how long they held on to Tom drinking from the water fountain!😂😂😂
The outtakes could be the most realistic thing happened ever if the events in BIG actually happened in real life.
The tackle at the end😂
The reason why many people are just now seeing this is because every now and then, SNL will block a bunch of their old videos from being shown(especially if you live in the US).
Do you know why they do that? I noticed that too when I searched specific videos that get removed and then out of the blue they will pop out again. Not just talking about SNL channels, but others as well.
@@mountaindew3201 Usually because a song might have been used that they no longer have the right to use/play, or clips like this from movies for the same reason
I’ve been looking for the talking snake on a plane skit from the late 90s seasons for years.
how come i never saw this before?? this is gold!!!
Cause it never existed. Mandela Effect
I want more of the outtakes 😂
Why wasnt the audience cracking up 😂 lol!!!!!
Creo q este tipo de humor recién en los 90s fue más apreciado
Different sensibilities, this was in 1988 and absurdist humor wasn't very popular. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Conan O'Brien sketch, he was a writer at this time and it's the kind of thing he would eventually put on his own TV show.
Now I'm just picturing 'Billy Madison' with Tom Hanks
If Tom Hanks was Billy Madison in that movie, it would be hilarious, but don’t worry, Adam Sandler was also hilarious.
"What're you lookin'at?"
Shoved right in the face!
😐😮😆😂🤣
Whoa, the youtube algorithm brought me here in 2020.
Same lol
Me too
It brought me here in 2027.
😳
same.
This guy posted this 7 years ago, don't be fooled. I'm actually the first one watching in 2027.
This is hilarious idk how im seeing this for the first time in 2020.
Hilarious, there should be laughter throughout the skit. Tom Hanks, always ahead of his time.
1:43 - The girl in the back almost trips. Heh heh.
Honestly those kids are doing a great job
Missed Opertunity: "There's a no crying in baseball!" 😂
He's great when he acts bitter. See also his 1988 movie Punchline.
2:47 - cinematographer Barry Sonnenfeld later directed Men In Black and...Wild Wild West.
I just realized he was the DP on this. Right after he did Throw Momma from the Train
It’s funny because Tom Hanks can never be mean, it’s like a commandment
You never know
Srishti Sumiran lol
Maybe he’s a demon......in the sack. You never know.
What about his character in A League of Their Own? He got pretty mean a few times in that one to the point he actually hit a kid in the face with a baseball glove. The kid was really hit just to prevent the moment from looking too fake.
@@kenthuang436 also in punchline😭 he was kinda mean in the beginning
One day, wearing oversized sweats will be cool again and I will be BACK, BABY!
Soon...
We're in a pandemic, half of us are unemployed or working from home. Oversized sweats have been a thing for months, my guy! Welcome back!
Let's hope that hideous look never rears its head again....
Someone thought this was real and listed these as actual deleted scenes from the movie on IMDB
Reminiscent of Payton Manning’s Unite Way sketch
Flip it around :)
Now that I think about it, Manning has a very similar voice to T.Hanks' voice.
That actually looks like a good movie
Yeah it's called Billy Madison I think?
This was the algorithm's Christmas gift to me.
The algorithm gang is all here i see
I remember watching this when it aired and laughed my ass off. God, I miss the '80's.
This is brilliant
From perspective, you could see the seed from which his genius and humanity would sprout!
All these kids are like 40 now..
they would be in fact older . around mid 40s or more even
Josh never met the gang of kids from Step Brothers.
Hello from 2020! That's a dope Giants sweatshirt.
Back before individual seatback screens and there was ONE screen in each section for everyone to watch the same film.
Huh funny when you think about the Peyton Manning skit for United Way & the laughs that got & all it was was a rip off of this... just priceless ! We salute u Mr. Hank's 😂.
gold!!
Can't wait for 2021!!!!
To hell with 2021 and 2022 for that matter.
When he shook him omg
I’m surprised at how hard this bombed with the studio audience. I’ve seen way worse stuff on SNL get huge laughs for some reason.
lol, I remember this!!! 🤣😅😂😂
You gotta love that man!!
Will never be better than owyton manning hitting the kids with the football.
RUclips algorithm strikes again.
he was handsome 😍
Is***
this is hilarious man good one mate
these kids are in their 40s now
This is the best!!!1
Been watching a lot of "Stuntment React."
So who is that badass kid and where is he now?
I actually can’t tell if this is a sketch or not lol
These are actual deleted scenes from the movie, there's many more that were cut
It’s that kid Billy? 😂🤣
We have a horse named Tom.
Tom and Peyton need to join forces!
This is great!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He might be the best host. It’s either him or Steve Martin.
Good stuff
no thoughts. only young tom hanks 👀
How did youtube know i watched BIG last weekend. On VHS. Crazy.
Your FBI agent. They tell "everything."
Everything!
@@Psychol-Snooper please lay off the crackpipe
Didn't you know that they are always listening in through your phone and watching you through your device camera?
@@chindleymuffin He's probably a little kid, and his parents are trying to protect him.
RIP penny
And now we know where Adam Sandler stole the idea for Billy Madison.
1988!!!
In the old days even the snl kids could act
Notice they weren't looking at cue cards.
Tommy Hanks muffed the shit outta that kid.
tom hanks voice woody other characters
Tough crowd.
Is there seriously only one fountain in that entire park?
Similar to the payton manning united way skit
thought this was Norm from the thumbnail 👁
Don't ever confuse Norm with this POS.
Almost looks like this couldve slightly inspired Peyton Mannings "United Way" sketch..... possibly a top 5 funniest all time.
"Big" from the woman's perspective would be a goddamn nightmare.
"not very professional tho we had to fire him right after this take!"
yeah right! he probable just died from all that brain damage and you just tried to cover it up!
Shimmy shimmy coco pop shimmy shimmy raaawh, I met a girlfriend a triscuit she said a triscuit my biscuit.....
I wonder if this inspired Peyton Manning's United Way skit?
are stunt kids legal
Shoulda' brought in Penny Marshal.
😂😂
Is that a pirate shirt Tom hanks is wearing?
He was the _first pirate_ !
😄😄😄
Omg. Lol
I've seen a lot of SNL and I can't remember ever seeing that particular sketch. It's fascinating, in a way. Tom Hanks was still becoming a bonafide Movie Star and was still primarily known for being a fairly biting comedian rather than the softer, Mr. Nice Guy image that developed after Forrest Gump and his two oscars. This sketch definitely plays against the trope of his image today, because now everybody loves Tom Hanks. But the sketch in 1988? That's pretty dark. The punchline just isn't there in the same way because it's Hanks acting as a comedian trying to shock, rather than a Nice Person acting against type. Which is probably what makes the Payton Manning episode that much better. Manning had time to cement his status as a lovable goofball athlete, so it was funny to see him acting against type. Is this sketch with Hanks funny? I mean, I laughed, but mostly out of the shock of the cruelty rather than Hanks playing against himself. Doesn't feel like the studio audience got it all that much, either.
But the Manning bit is a rip off this original sketch. With 1980s Hanks It wasn't against his 'brand'. It's more performance art. Semi dramatic. Doesn't net the same laughs.
Another SNL video from 2013 with only views and comments from 2020.
And then 20 years later Peyton Manning does the same bit....
Peyton was teaching important life lessons such as, catching a pass, sitting in a porti potty, breaking into cars, and picking up women.
LOL
I can see where it seemed like a good idea, but it wasn't very funny.
Tom hanks eats babies
FTH
lame
Is this audience dead?
Notice how ridiculous it is for an adult to play baseball against younger boys, but somehow it is supposed to be OK for men with all the strength and stature advantages to play volleyball against women.
It would not fit today
good ol saturday night cringe
Was this filmed on Epstein Island?
wow.
UNfunny!
all of it.
that's your opinion and it doesn't make you right.
Your opinion is worse than the condom your father wore when you got conceived
Un-funny.
Yep 0:38
