- A quick morning Wade fishing trip in Galveston bay for aggressive speckled trout! I caught a few fish early in the morning and kept one to take home for the catch, clean, and cook portion of the video! This is one of the very few times I’ve seen spotted sea trout feeding as aggressively as they were today. The fish were jumping all the way out of the water blowing up on bait all around me. I caught several on soft plastic lures and even managed to hook one on a topwater! Thanks for watching and hope y’all enjoy!

Hello Cameron..I followed my job to Illinois back in 99 and been up here since. I was born in Wharton and raised in Angleton. I used to fish right next door to you on Christmas bay and surrounding channels leading to west Galveston Bay. And I had many mornings during the 90’s wade fishing with trout all around me! Wow this video brought a lot of great memories back and I thank you young man for that!! Love your channel!!

I hit Galveston Bay the other day and they absolutely smacked the lil john XL in "molting" color. Give it a shot.

what's the best saltwater reel to get for this type of casting?? I'm gonna throw 1/8 oz soft plastics on a 6'8" falcon medium/light

What kind of line are you using and are you using a leader ? What lb test
