    Mr. MDLR, many groceries and HEB too will sell the hatch chile in frozen cartons year round. Although agreed fresh roasted is better and the smell is amazing each year they do it. It’s spread far and wide in recent years but i first learned about it in Lubbock at TTU and some of my friends were from NM and they were all ohhhhh this hatch chile stuff is a tradition. haha and then after that whoever runs the hatch chile cartel spread it out to HEB and the rest of Texas and I love it!

    Love all your videos and just finished making my own live bait box that mimics yours (I had a several decade old but identical cooler I wasn't using). Very impressed with you putting the fish out of misery so quickly which is something I will start doing. Just curious if there was a reason you cleaned the fish right away?

    • @MDLRFishing
      @MDLRFishing  5 месяцев назад +1

      It significantly reduces the decomposition process. The result is a sushi grade fish that will taste better and last longer before cooking.

    i never realized the third bar was so close to shore. I mean… i don’t really know how to tell where the bars are by looking at the breaks in the waves anyway… i just know it is somehow possible😅. But anyway, my dad is older now and he’s all like, oh yah yah in the 1980s I’d always swim out to the third bar or wade out to it if the tide was low but now i’m too old. such is life I suppose. Anyway so the third bar can be that close?
