*"Heroes are never really gone. They live forever. As do the ones they inspire to carry on the fight."* ~The Watcher Again, RIP Chadwick Boseman, and Wakanda forever!
Killmonger is acting like a hero of Wakanda, but in reality he is truly a villain. His story is tragic and have understanding motivation, but he thinks power is the cure, but that sounds like corruption.
At the Bar scene of the episode, Tony said that he and Kilmonger are like Butch and Sundance, Pepper stated that they both died at the end and Tony ended up dying later in the episode. Although Kilmonger lived it was some clever foreshadowing
They strongly imply that the point of divergence is that T'Chaka didn't personally kill N'Jobu, he had one of the Dora Millaje who came with him do the deed. This meant that Killmonger was able to work through his grief in a healthier way, but he still has revenge on his mind. Killing T'Challa is Killmonger's way of getting that revenge; T'Chaka took Erik's father away from him, so Erik will take T'Chaka's son in kind.
Once again, Michael B Jordan kills it just like his movie counterpart, but he actually succeeds in his mission. Also, hearing that line from Killmonger that he is an anime fan really tied in Mikey’s real life tastes in anime. I’m super happy they put that one in. Not to mention, the music cues from Black Panther is also a nice touch, Ludwig is a beast.
Although I'm a little disappointed cuz I thought killmonger was going to be good in this one I really like him a lot. Seems many steps ahead of everybody
Man, that scene where Killmonger killed Tony Stark was again, heart wrenching to watch. I still get saddened every time Iron Man snaps his fingers to save the universe in Avengers: Endgame. Because I know that that scene will be the last time we’ll ever see Robert Downey Jr. play as Iron Man… the father of the MCU, we’ll never be seen or heard in the MCU going forward.
I just want to know how kilmonger was able to huck a missle like a qb? No purple herb, no serum ? I mean he's a navy seal so he's def bad ass right there. And prolly in incredible shape and strength but?

Loved the show. But minor details kill me. For example. Killmonger is a highly trained Navy SEAL but in the scene where he saves Tony there are no sights on the gun. Also when he stabs Tony with the spear it is in the shoulder. Painful sure. But not fatal.
You mentioned all that anime gundam info but left out that killmongers physical outfit, white chest guard, blue pants shirt, was openly taken from Dragon ball Z

Not best story but it was alright the animation was great though
It's ok, but probably the weakest What If story so far. Didn't like how so many heroes drop the idiot ball so that Killmonger can succeed.
