She disappeared without a trace almost two years ago from her estranged husband's home in St. Anthony. There have been no named suspects and her friends and family feel police didn't treat her disappearance seriously enough. The husband sent Jennifer several texts on the night of the disspearence, ”to make sure Jennifer was coming”. There’s a good chance he sent those texts from the house or in the immediate vincinity. When Jennifer arrived she allegedly sent her daughter a text saying that she didn’t feel well and was going to bed. But we don’t know if it actually was Jennifer who sent that text to her daughter.
Her teenage daughter probably saw that as an opportunity to stay out late and sneak in the back door (not risking waking up her mother) which in fact is exactly what the Daughter did - and what her father counted on, if he in fact sent that text from Jennifers cell phone.
That means there is a gap of several hours missing from the timeline for both Jennifer and her husband. Which would leave him plenty of time to dispose of her body.
I bet she is buried somewhere inbetween the house and his hunting cottage. And I bet that some of his huntingbuddies and/or old schoolmates have a fairly good idea where that spot is at. People tend to go to places they already know. As the poster says:
    Somebody knows.
The first thing I would do is to trace his cellphone activity on the night in question to see which celltowers were pinged. That would establish his movements and timeline.
I would also interwiev everyone close to him, even back from his childhood and ask where they think that someone would have dumped a body on that stretch of road.
You may very well get a straight answer to such a question since they don’t have to feel incriminated, jumbled up with misguided loyalty to the possible suspect.
One thing all good cops know is that loyalty change over time and alliances break.
Sooner or later someone will start to talk.
My heart goes out to Jennifers family and friends.

I am speaking out because she was my first cousin, common sense will tell you that she never ran away, left her cell phone, car, keys, coat etc on a cold November 30th night, had the bathtub filled up with water & never used it, Jennifer did not run away, she was going to move to central Newfoundland just days from that night to work & make a new start, I am not pointing a finger at anyone but St. Anthony is a small town & Jennifer was loved by most everyone & who would go to her ex-husbands house & take her ? different if it was here in the Toronto area because you could not be so sure then, maybe someone can answer this question how did her ex-husband know that she was texting another man that night she disappeared when he was suppose to be 30 or 40 minutes away at the cabin ? surely they would not give him access to anything thing she wrote that night when he came back, if she wrote anything at all, the Police should know if she indeed texted another man or not & could easy know who that man was, , so if there is no truth to it why would it be said at all, maybe there is a way, can someone explain ? why was that house not locked down right away ? no one going or coming.

Read a book called The Gift Of Fear, by Gavin De Bekker. It will explain why Jennifer was RIGHT to fear Dean. She KNEW that Dean had bad plans for her.
I don't think her body will ever be found.
The Mounties KNOW they dropped the ball, and are trying to cover up their mistakes.
One day, when he's old and doesn't fear jail, Dean MAY tell what he did with her. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

The husband did it or paid someone to do it. It is clear she had been unhappy with the marriage and was going to divorce him. The texts to the friend clearly indicate he did not want that. In an attempt to make her look bad, he said she cheated. He did that to draw attention away from his actions. He needs to be investigated more in depth. This has happened many times before.

The girl has zero emotion when talking about her mother and had already chosen her dad's house over mom. Just watch her interview at 6:48. We all drain it when we're done, and she wouldn't have gotten out if someone was at the door. I think someone knocked on the door before she got in. Someone knew her husband was gone and that she was there alone. Dean did it directly or indirectly with someone else grabbing her.
