Innocent and sent to prison is one thing. Innocent and sent to prison for brutally stabbing and killing your MOTHER is another!! How horrific to find her and have that image permanently in his brain. Did he have ANYBODY other than Tina support him??? Grand parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends?? Poor guy. How awful that would be. I think he has a better attitude than I would have after enduring all this.

The sad part about wrongful convictions (blinders by police) is that the general public try and convict without any evidence, just on hearsay.

I lived on James place when ms. Parsons was murdered, I was just ten years old at the time. I knew Greag and his Mom they were great people. I shoveled there walkway a couple times and earned some money for myself. They were a nice family. My mom was certain right from the start that Greag did not hurt his Mom he loved her dearly. Very sad what happened to Ms. Parsons and what Greag had to go through. I remember listening to Greag and his friends play music is his basement. Me and a couple buddies listened from outside the basement window. They played metal style music that song was just a song and no more to it than that. I remember being scared after the murder knowing a murderer was lose and James place had a heavy police presence 24/7 for some time after.

Let’s be real, no jury truly believed that he killed his mother. Some jurors just think that a defendant wouldn’t be charged if they weren’t guilty and the fear of letting a killer go free is greater than the fear of putting an innocent man behind bars. And I am so sick and tired of everyone getting plea deals when these criminals deserve to ACTUALLY get life. In Canada everyone gets out early and plea deals puts killers, rapists and pedophiles out on the street early and long before the public thinks. And yes this is a reality that hits home for me and more than a few people that I know personally. Some people cannot be reformed and some people don’t DESERVE to be reformed.

Sadly, the Supreme Court is no different than any other publicly funded institution in Canada. There is no JUSTICE. There is only "to serve and protect" the civil servants who contravene and VIOLATE their own rules and the oaths they swore. Lawyers talk with lawyers, not their clients. The relationships are with colleagues.
We have a group of lawyers that go through the facade of taking instructions from their clients. What actually happens is that the lawyer will withdraw services if their expertise is not followed.
The idea that, "no one knows your case better than you", is the hook lawyers use to have you buy into their narrative, they are on your side narrative. Money is their only objective, not JUSTICE.
CITIZENS, only when you experience the TERROR government agencies put on a member of their communities can one understand.
There are no words I can share with this man to make his world better.
A lazier group of public servants can not be found than police agencies.
To those members that are a credit to the profession, stay safe.
I encourage members to NOT turn a blind eye to the misconduct and to NOT alter/fabricate reports to promote the toxic culture.
    Stay safe❤

If you want justice, Canada is NOT the place to live. The victims are ALWAYS victims because most of the crimes, no matter how evil they are, basically are a slap on the wrist.
This man should have been compensated millions because of his wrongful conviction, especially on the complete lack of evidence the police had. There’s no way anyone could feel safe living in this area where the police department is so incompetent and are immune to any type of accountability.
Doesn’t look like they’re ever going to make this right or that the evil this monster did will be punished in This lifetime but it WILL COME, Eventually…
