Its not exploiting anybody, if u wanna run a map u usually have to pay for it anyway making it only a really small profit. So him using the map is just like bringing people to guardians and have them trade their loot after.

always run your maps with 4 people and either do a rotation (each one provides the same rarity map)
or the others pay a gold fee (f.e. legendary t2 map gold fee would be 1 k gold)
Be aware there's some scamming around with maps so I wouldn't be too trustful with stranger

@@thinkchair96 Make sure every one shares the map, thats pretty much all you can do c: havent met any scammers so far and i do 2 rotations every day there is a chaos gate. Also i dont understand why the maps almost never get to 2k+ gold during bidding :D i end up winning it most of the time.
@@thinkchair96 Doing maps with real life friends is what I have done so far but it can be problematic as not everyone's friends are playing lost ark.
I think other way to avoid getting scammed is to be in one guild for a long time and get new friends from there.
Or just be the owner of the map so you can get gold from them before sharing the map, and force them to trust you instead.

This is literally the same concept as a rota but with fewer steps :') The trick is when you get other people to use their maps and trade those resources to you as well.
Hardly an exploit until then cus everyone is getting 4 times resources from their maps by sharing it among a party and then joining theirs as well :P

The trick is that after you do the gate you party with 4 people with your same type of map and everyone in the group can share their maps by right clicking them so everyone can do 4 maps.
If you get to agree that everyone gives you their things then it would be a x16 source of materials instead of the x4 you originally planned

Enjoying the game but tbh feel like alot of streamer opinions should be taken with a grain of salt, most streamers play a completely different game, asmon has essentially an infinite amount of matts from viewers but then says things like "you dont need to play more than one character" like he has a normal game experience.

The lack of people sharing their maps in area chat and asking to join a party is so painfully low. Just end up doing my own 1 map sometimes.
What server are you on? After a rift everyone on my server spams their maps. Though you have to watch out for scammers.

This is basically how map rotations work. If you don't have a map, you pay a fee to join in the group. In this case tho, Asmon can charge a higher fee because of his popularity.

At that point you aren't playing the game. There are people who pay their way, but there are a lot more people like me who enjoy the grind. It's a choice, not a requirement to spend money. If it were a requirement, it would be p2w. I and a lot of people haven't spent a dime and we're ahead of Asmon. You're only looking from the view of a rich popular streamer.

most of people paying for chance to get legendary book for 20k on legendary map, not for mats, but still people make groups for 4 maps so everyone get own loot, not trade to owner of map.
the meta is you party with 3 people of the same map type, eg. you have blue map - so you get 4 people with blue maps, purple etc. so everyone gets 4x thier loot

what kind of things do you farm from adds?
if ur talking about things like chaos dungeons they drop a finite amount of loot over the entirety of the dungeon. So you don't gain more from killing eery mob on every stage you can see this when you start to kill the last ones and they drop nothing. I think you're just adding to your % on an earlier stage of the map.

T3 has nothing much different except golds being easier to make anyway, you still have time to get Ready for Argos raids which players that rather pay than play will struggle doing.

i dont like how Asmon is solely focused on item lvl. all his fans will copy him and the game will turn into pure nonsense. For myse;lf, im chilling at 520, made an alt which is at 420 and I take the time to read all the stories hidden throut the game. I also have my Stronhold feast up, have the extra island getting cleared for development, I have tier 2 merchants now. ans am building a hedge maze for guests to run around in. Theres so much ,ore to tjis game than just getting item level. Also, if you rush tooo quickly, you will be top heavy.
