Trust me I did the math. At any random point of time in the video you have a 37.28% chance of choosing a point where Asmon is falling through the air to his death.
I can confirm this. I closed my eyes while randomly moving the time bar around. About 4 out of 10 times asmon was falling to his death. I tested this 10,000 times so trust me.
For anyone planning to do this. When you get to the bottom tombstone ledge thing with candles on it do not jump. Asmon turned left and went down. Go right first and it's around the corner on a body. It's the fingerprint shield. Pretty OP.

It and Margitt may be even for me. But the rest of the bosses I 1 or 2 tried.. Mohg took a fee tries but that is cause I was lured there by the call of many runes way early on. Melania killed me a lot, not as much as first tike to Margitt, but a lot.
Hearing McConnel bounce off Asmon, he is one of the only people where I cannot tell if he is actually just a salty ahole, or excels at the best deadpan salty ahole delivery on any given topic, and is really just pretty chill. Still a great comedy duo with Asmon's demeanor.

Lol if you roll with light equip load, you’ll land perfectly on each stone in that frenzied flame tower jumping puzzle. I think it was designed with that as the solution

The only reason it took me more attempts than any bosses other than Malenia is because I almost always beat bosses in less than 10 tries And that parkour segment to get down took me like 13 tries
I burned the tree at the mountain first, then found the jumping area to get the frenzied flame, she doesn’t show up and give the warning because if you do it in that order she kills herself so now she can’t kill you and you stay the lord of frenzied flame.
I did this too... just wanted to see what was up, melina was dead so she could warn me not, read a message that said "No armour ahead" so I did and straight up f*ed up, luckily though I had found the note on how to reverse it and so I did, sht, they could have given us a prompt asking us if we wqnted to inherit the frenzied flame, kinda like "Link the first flame" in ds1, had no idea what was gonna happen >_
You definitely get the feeling the game doesn't want you to get the frenzied flame ending: The subterranean shunning grounds might be the most complex dungeon in the game, followed by a cramped boss fight with mohg of all people, followed by an incredibly annoying jump section in a game not meant for parkour.
More specifically an astral projection of Mohg since he didn't want people to think he had actually left the shunning grounds, led alone leave his post keeping the passage to the frenzied flame catacombs sealed. Kinda like how Morgott tries to fight us two times with his astral projection form under his "Fell Omen" alias throughout the game.
This jumping puzzle had me rattled. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out I could walk from one platform to another instead of sprint jumping the whole time.
He’s probably gonna jump attack her to death with ease. His weapons are op and the jump attacks farm staggers like it’s nothing. His build is textbook cuck easy mode.

@@oats2949 i also used golden halberd but that strategy really doesn’t work too well with it. First she has a lot of attacks that you just can’t stagger even in the first phase, and while i’ve beaten the first phase relying on the stagger, but pretty much every time i did that i had almost no heals, and since she is much less susceptible to stagger in phase 2, i’m pretty sure he won’t just blow through it like you are saying unless he changes his strategy
I have laughed & had more fun watching you play Elden Ring than I ever have with any other Twitch streamer. For those who dont know. There is a fake wall in that room at the bottom where you fall. If you are facing the door with the 3 fingers in it, its to the right side of the room. There is another fake wall behind the chest in that hidden room

0:10 actually if you drop down from the center it dampens your impact from the bones in the middle. You actually can't die. At least from most heights. EDIT: actually I think that's only the case once you've been down there before, and the floor collapses, creating soft rubble. Until then you do die. LOL
4:35 by far the enemy I despise most in this game. They are obnoxious. I preferred Godric’s many arms to those enemies. I found out about the heal incantations damaging and stunning them much later.
I was about to say they're one of the easiest to wipe out though (solely because of the last thing you mentioned) but I get it that not everyone has the forethought to bring a couple incants with them.
And here many of us thought that parkour would be so much easier with a dedicated jump button... ... little did we know, the jump button gave Fromsoft an excuse to create some of the most nefarious parkouring segments in all of their games.
I swear when I was exploring the sewers beneath the capital, I spent so long a time lost in the pipes that I started listening to the Mario Bros underground music, it fit so dang well. Was by far one of the best moments in the game for me since I love dungeon crawling and it’s one of the more Dark Souls 1 ish areas next to Stormveil and Volcano Manor. Just wish it was a bit longer with a few more bosses hidden away.
If you explore the whole of Shunning Grounds, it takes even longer to go through than the Depths in Dark Souls 1. I should know cuz I've thoroughly explore the Shunning Grounds, and the Depths are unironically my favorite level to go through in Dark Souls 1. Wasn't too much of a fan of the Shunning Grounds, though. Felt way too cramped and complex in comparison, but I appreciated all of the callbacks to the Depths.
remember, the most deadly boss in the entire game hasn't changed, from Demon Souls to Dark Souls 1 2 and 3, all the way from Bloodbourn to Elden Ring, the Gravity Boss claims all souls

This one is probably the coolest ending IMO, i just hope that at some point we get the "walk out" ending dlc just like dark souls 2 walk out ending, your character keeps all the runes which will make him a target for enemies (a boss that chases you around in NG+ or something, or simply starts a fight after the ending.
I thought there’s a malenia end, where you use the needle to reject others people’s will and think of an end yourself. Oh well, human instrumentality is still a pretty cool ending
If you jump then hold the sprint button it will put you in automatic sprint as soon as you start walking as long as your holding sprint after the jump. It will make jumps that you can’t start a sprint off of easier. Jump, hold sprint, LAND HOLDING SPRINT, then your in the sprint animation it will allow you to make loner jumps without needing space to get the sprint off.

frenzied flame ending underrated imo. yes its the "worst" ending but its def the coolest one out of the other endings. As others are just generic you ending up as the elden lord all goes well, this one is unique and cool and you gotta fight your way and navigate through a really difficult dungeon. also asmongold elden ring streams have been top content!
Btw if you complete Hyetta's quest that lady that you feed the grapes too - she will end up down at the Frenzied Flame and will become your maiden in place of Melina.
Frenzied flame ending is such a nightmare to complete. The nightmare comes from trying to platform all the way to the bottom and the platforms are so tiny. Lol

0:10 just use ground slam AoW. It'll get you safely to the grace at the bottom. You'll miss out on the items, but its a safe way to get the grace.
I tried that shit and I died before I hit rock bottom.
It turns out it is the fall that gets you and not the sudden stop at the end.

I can’t imagine doing all this on mouse and keyboard tbh. It’s hard enough even on controller, with analog movement.

All the jumping puzzles are easier in mouse and keyboard for me, the camera control is much better.
there are ways you can bind it so you can play with just keyboard, effectively making it a large gamepad. It works quite well.

frenzied flame ending underrated imo. yes its the "worst" ending but its def the coolest one out of the other endings. As others are just generic you ending up as the elden lord all goes well, this one is unique and cool and you gotta fight your way and navigate through a really difficult dungeon. also asmongold elden ring streams have been top content!

Frenzied flame ending is such a nightmare to complete. The nightmare comes from trying to platform all the way to the bottom and the platforms are so tiny. Lol
