I’m 27 and now that I’m all grown up I just keep thinking about the mundane christmas memories from my childhood christmas’ instead of all of the presents I received. and the one that keeps coming back to me year after year is how I would ask my mom to put one of the 8FT trees in my bedroom every year and I would decorate them by cutting out pictures from magazines of things I enjoyed as a kid and turning them into ornaments. Those are the memories that matter to me now more than any gift I ever received
We always went to midnight mass and then when we got back from mass we’d open gifts. When we were younger and believed in santa my brother and I would get up super early to open on xmas morning. Some of my favorite memories were when our dates would join when we got older. It got even more fun lol Now I always host Xmas eve and my brother hosts xmas day. We open gifts 🎁 on xmas day. Xmas is my favorite holiday and I can’t believe how fast the holiday season flew by! Merry Christmas Michele! I will miss these mishmas videos. 🎄🎁🌟
In Santa Fe, for Midnight Mass, we would walk in the snow to Saint Frances Cathedral. The streets, paths, roofs, and homes were all lined with farolitos and luminarias. Magical.
My Father leads a nondenominational Christmas Eve church service every year at a tiny little country church down the road from our farm. We would go to the church early and light the lamps to warm up the building (northern Canada its very cold) and after the service we would go home for a hot chocolate and bed. Christmas morning we open presents together then coffee and breakfast. Big dinner Christmas Day with extended family at the farm. As an adult my spouse and I miss the church service as we spend Christmas Eve at their families dinner but we spend Christmas Day on the farm still.
We celebrate CHRISTmas. We open presents on CHRISTmas day in the morning. The rest of the day we are preparing food and eating. Happy HOLYdays from South Africa 🕯🎄❤

Merry Christmas! This has to be my favorite Mishmas video ❤ We celebrate Sint Niklaas, which happens Dec 6th. So Christmas is now very chill. We do presents from the family and friends on Christmas day then do a big meal.
2:50 my mom works at a hospital and has to work christmas eve and christmas day even after requesting them both off, so i can relate with you on that one. it sucks she has to work but the silver lining is we get to open our presents early❤

I won't see Lindsay & Henry today, they do Christmas at her in laws. Tonight is the 1st night of Chanukah. Bruce & I will be by ourselves, but I'm sure I'll get to celebrate both holidays tomorrow with that sweet boy of mine. As a child, I always snooped and found all of my Chanukah presents. Then at Christmas, we'd go to my Aunt's home. We had the best of both worlds. Have a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for your amazing videos. My husband’s family went to Christmas mass on Christmas Eve and when I married we attended the early mass and then went home to have “make your own deli sandwiches”. But my family when we were growing up didn’t celebrate Christmas and we didn’t have presents. I think that’s why I’ve gone overboard over the years after getting married. Making up for time lost. My daughter was the lucky recipient of all those efforts!😂
The Nespresso mug is nice, but I would love it to be larger. If you add frothed milk, it's just not large enough. Christmas for me growing up was all about Christmas morning. The anticipation and excitement. We did the same for our girls, but now they have their own families and in-laws to consider, so we open gifts after dinner on Christmas Day.

I adore Flamingo Estates. I sent gifts from them this year. They have the best tomato candle - smells like summer in the garden! I believe they are based on LA.

I’m watching your video while finishing my baking. Christmas Eve is more important in my (Italian) family than Christmas Day, so our big, big celebrating is tonight. And I’m hosting for the very first time in my very first house!! I barely got it finished in time and actually there are no decorations on my wall. Just one box of Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree with one box of ornaments on it!

It is all about spending time together as a family. We open the presents on Christmas Day. :)

That I take on vacation it comes in so handy when you’re on a excursion or you just didn’t remember to bring one from the hotel room they dry so fast
