I'm glad people realize that there is much more to being a rogue then just stealth. To me the biggest part of being a rogue is nimbleness.
That's exactly the idea, yeah. Or, to phrase it another way, there are many different kinds of rogues. I just happen to be a lot of those archetypes at the same time, and more or less enjoy them all.
Yes, I've learned that watching this channel, thus expanding the ways I approach and enjoy games.☺
theres a way of being a rogue during combat, as we know. it isnt only about stealth and sneaking around, but cunning and taking down foes stronger than you with every advantage.
Yes!
For some reason that reminded me how my friend from time to time was watching me playing different games and every time saying "You always play like it's Assassin's Creed or something". Never heard a better compliment from her so far
Hell yeah. :)
23:07 that was so sick
Loved it. xD
I can never imagine anyone beating this man in a "who's the bigger rogue fan" competition
a friend of mine in high school once told me, "you would play MARIO KART as a stealth game if you could"
@@LeoKRogue your friend is right 😭
I remember a few of these from your streams, nice to see these moments here
One awesome item in DS2 is called Engraved gauntlets. They give you a chance to land a crit on normal attacks, super good with fast weapons, like daggers
That's pretty cool, not sure I ended up finding those but it sounds like I would've loved them.
Dark Souls 2 rogue drip advice:
The Varangian Armor looks dashingly rogueish, especially with the black leather hood.
Sounds good. I really enjoy the ragged cloak and hood look, which unfortunately the starter gear is best at. Yes, I nerfed myself to look the way I want to. 😅
30:07 POV: You're a Roman Senator in 44 BC
sooooo real
So fun watching you play games
Heh, thanks.
I liked this video very much!👍
By the way, I don't know if you are aware of these games but I've been following three games that you might find interesting:
One is "Enotria: The Last Song" which is a unique looking Soulslike in Italian settings.
The second is "Where Winds Meet", which is like Ghost of Tsushima meets Team Ninja in Chinese settings.
The third is Phantom Blade Zero, although that seems to be dormant at the time....
I literally have all three of these as my most-anticipated LMAO.
Good to know! I'll be on the lookout for your reviews and guides, then!😁
Okay the 1,2 assassinations are reallyyyy cinematic
And effective
Thank you. And yeah, they're great! Always, always use them. You can do them in lots of games.
Wish I used more consumables in games
Start doing it. Next time you play a game, imagine the evil, shadowy spirit of Leo K Rogue floating over your shoulder, telling you to practice using Too Many over using Too Few.
Nice work with Sekiro, for me the game had the exact kind of rogue gameplay that I like
It's fantastic, one of my favorite of all time.
I love ALL Leo K [Rogue] videos!!!! ❤
I love all these comments, let's goo
No shit, you played Last Faith, absolutely love that game, right up there with Blasphemous
Really fun, yeah, I'm playing Blasphemous 2 now as well!
@@LeoKRogue ah, cool. Thats a 5/5 game for me
Now I'm kinda curious to see what you'd do as Vergil in DMC games
Probably suck ass. Vergil is really hard to play. ^_^
ah Best Souls 2, my old friend
Safe to say that game is actually kind of underrated. I let its reputation keep me away from it for a long time but it's got some sauce and some _really_ cheap stuff players can do.
So cool
Hey Leo, whats your favorite Souls-like?
Edit: and which would you reccomend for someone new to the genre?
My favorite is probably Demon's Souls, Dark Souls III, and Lies of P.
I think any of those except Lies of P would be a great intro for someone new because LoP is very punishing and demanding, but still decent.
Feels so good seeing leo playing souls games
Also would you mind if I ask what's your favorite soulsbourne and dark souls game?
My favorite FROMSOFTWARE Soulslikes are Demon's Souls, Bloodborne and Dark Souls III. Sekiro is also close to my heart.
My favorite non-FROM Soulslikes are Thymesia, Lies of P, and Team Ninja's modern catalogue.
@@LeoKRogue I'm so glad you like ds3. I love the art design and vibes of that game
@@Roberrrrt103 It has my favorite game-feel, atmosphere, sense of sorrow and just overall storyline out of any Dark Souls. It's truly special to me. Also, Dark Souls III is the game in which I felt the strongest connection to my maiden/Firekeeper, and that's something I value very highly.
@@LeoKRogue That's the exact feeling I've had about the game. Love to see you enjoyed it
you should call this series "Rogue Moments"
Probably.
What r your thoughts on Shadow of Mordor and Witcher 3? Just as games
I love Shadow of Mordor, I think it's really fun. I have a No Upgrades commentary of it I made for this channel:
ruclips.net/video/YosStDaEOSE/видео.html
I think Witcher III has a great story and world. All the characters are incredibly well-done and realized. I don't like it as a gameplay experience and I find its mechanics/systems/gameplay drag down the entire game.
I'm a little late but please do more of this
Yeah? Will definitely do so. ^_^
That FFXVI gameplay! Time to reinstall lol
I haven't even played the DLCs yet, but I'll get to them when I get to them. ^_^
@@LeoKRogue Oh yeah me neither! I finished the game when it launched last year, now seems like a good time to get back into it on the Final Fantasy difficulty. It might be blasphemous to some, but this is definitely my favorite FF!
