You definitely look better and happy glen, glad to see it. I would be cautious about seasonality when it comes to excavation and dirt work winters are extremely slow and driver turnover is high due to lack of work. Keep up the content
OK, so this is your third day. So probably about two weeks from now you will be making videos coming from the standpoint of a very experienced and weathered dump truck driver😂😂 I love it man! Keep it up!
Great job. This will actually help me alot. I was looking to coming off the road and getting into dump work out here where I am. Will be watching to see how it goes. God bless. Be safe.
It's a good gig. I was an owner operator for years. I would have still had my end dump but the economy was so bad in 2008. Good luck. Don't forget to lock your gate after you dump. Stay on level ground when you dump. You'll be fine.
Hey man what people need to remember; not every change is a bad thing, a change could lead to something even better down the one. For example, never learn to driver a rig and prove so, it would be much harder getting a local CDL job, congratz !!
Keep in mind GGG driving anything other than a class A vehicle it doesn't help your experience..if you decide to go back driving a semi they won't want to hire you..ask me how I know lol
I drove everything under the sun, dump truck is decent. But contractors are A holes they always overload you and they play childish games. Everything has its season.
one jersey driver to another........especially with a dump truck.....40yrs driving in and out of jersey......NEVER..NEVER ..SWERVE........if something happens in front of you .....just stand on the brakes.....don t take out some poor bastard next to you
Well hell, I’m about to start my OTR career in a few days. Maybe a little later than most but had a few more hurdles than most. The different perspectives from those who hate it to those who own and operate or drive for the company is all valuable information. No it ain’t like the 70s anymore which sucks ass and corporations have really streamlined the process of monetary sodomy but if I dig it then fukk it…it’ll be the last job I have. Maybe not last COMPANY but last job.
Can’t wait for more dump truck videos 👍

One piece of advice from someone in the dirt game for a while, is pile up your money in the summer. Winters can be tough.

You like it because it’s new. It’ll get old then you’ll be whining about how you want a long nose Pete

Omg. I hated driving dump truck. All day long on a hamster wheel.
Why not get with an Ltl company there's a ton of them paying upwards of $30 an hour
Right. Xpo is a good one if he doesn’t have the year.
Let the complaining begin.
