Some lovely pieces of wood for them to grow on too...The fish look so much more "at home" when they're not in a virtually bare tank... It makes me feel super peaceful just gazing at all your fish and wonderful plants in their awesome aqua-scapes!
Luke was a good man. I actually had gotten to know him through breeding bettas. I had some guppies he sent me years ago, wish I still had them. This is awesome that you are keeping one of his lines going!
Those guppies are amazing! Cochu tetra! I bought some from a B&M and they were unlabeled. No one knew what they were but I thought they were beautiful so I picked a few up. I've been looking for the species and finally!! Thank you!
It is wonderful that these rare Rainbowfish remain in the hands of serious Aquarists who can breed, and raise, these fish to prevent their extinction and someday be able to release them back in the wild, when their numbers are once again plentiful.
Usually there are good reasons the ecology of the habitat is leading them to extinction. You can't do away with them and relocating them is even worse an idea. So chances are they're going to stay in aquariums.

What was done with the fern in the cholla wood, I did with african water fern a couple years ago and wow! It’s amazing! I plunk bits of fern like java and windelov in all my cholla now.
Amen to not letting people tell you that you can't grow a certain plant in your tank! I have many plants that I was told will not grow or do well without C02 that are big and beautiful without any C02 or even liquid carbon. You CAN do it! I love plants and I'm starting to like them as much as my fish lol.

I "adopted" a random rainbow egg on a large Amazon sword from a lfs. My wife's female betta jumped ship the day after I planted the sword and within a week we had Rando the rainbow fry swimming around. Now he/she is about 3.5" and is the food thief of all his pals.
I love your guppies set up tank, I'm in the process of doing the same for my guppies I have 3 tanks that are 4 foot long two of them I have in the living room but I have to wait because a couple of days ago I saw new fries in the 40gal tank with my only 4 females and 2 males. The question I have does the anubia pangalino grow at a slow pace like the anubia nana petite, Its my most favorite aquatic plant.

Bro I caught blue guppies in a creek and other fancy tail breeds it's unusual to see them in Rivers they also have coloured tails with male wild guppies red dots on the sides

I’m new to the fish tank scene thanks to my two kids winning a couple Goldfish at our county fair. They are in a 5 gallon tank we bought as a kit from Walmart. I found your videos and am trying to learn as much as I can. I’ve always loved fish tanks and this forced me into the hobby. Every time that I watch Corey I learn more. I just had an aquarium cleaned,the fellow assured me,tested thoroughly. But,my fish all died! Does bacteria in the water cause it? 2 aqua clear burned up on me in a year because of power outages (Aqua Clear isn't self-priming). I'd rather pay more money for something i can depend upon., so i'll take the Tidal every time. Plastic seems nicer/more flexible too.
Just saw your video on modifying the hang on the back filters and thought you might respond here since that video is quite old. Is there not a necessity for carbon when you’re using the sponges instead of the carbon filled filter pad?

Bentley Pascoe I’ve tried so hard to find a used 2.0 but they are nowhere to be found. Not even new! The 3.0 are hard to find used with the length that I need which is a 48 inch
Every guppy I’ve ever gotten has ended up dying due to weak genetics and not great fish stores. Any recommendations and where to get guppies w good genetics that will actually last and look good in my tank?
Do I have to many fish for my 10 gal thinking of going to a 20 gal I have 2 albino catfish that clean 4 cleaning fish that are kinda like the pletco but more fish like 3 minnows 4 small tetras 4 miniature zebra fish 2 rainbow fish stay small They all stay small and seem happy but I'm not sure

The only ones I've found are for rimless tanks, so mine are pretty wonky.

Rando looks alot like the one that swims on screen at 22:20. Very turquoise/ green.

Man a lot of my blue moscows used to throw the yellow colored tail and lighter blue coloration. Very sad they have been culled out completely. :(

What is friction fitting plants? How does that work?
It is when you get plants to stay rooted by squeezing them into a space. In this case, he pushed them into the holes in some cholla wood.
