@Aquarium Co-Op I like the idea of having a plant growing out of the top of my tank, maybe the roots to help filter etc, but I have pet cats. Is there anything that is good for the tank but is also a cat safe house plant etc?
Scott my dude, well done. Amazing set-up with a beautiful mix of biology and art. I can't remember the last time I made a youtube comment, but I felt compelled.
Thank you to Cory, Jimmy and all the fellow youtubers and fans who watch and support us with what we do and hope we are bringing you good content that you enjoy!!
Clearly a family man who loves the hobby I love to see guys like these his tanks are great and he’s not doing anything too crazy to achieve it thanks Cory for showing us how to enjoy the hobby without going broke doing it
Another vote for "Jungle Style" as my favorite type! Perhaps my favorite fish house set-up ever - I'm not a plant guy, but these tanks set up the fish inside perfectly. Splendid! Thanks for the tour Cory.
I LOVE this video! I'd be thrilled to see more like this. Seeing a real hobbyist doing a lot of different things; what a great learning opportunity. Thanks Cory and Scott!
This guy has such a good vibe about him, and his tanks are beautiful. I’m gonna go give him a follow once I’m done with this video. Well done to him and you guys for covering him.
Makes my grow tank look like a hot pile. Great looking tanks Scottish aquatics thanks for the content Cory I like seeing you in everyone’s live streams lately must have some more free time :)
What an awesome set of set ups. Fish look amazing plants look amazing and his simple chill. I’m surprised I didn’t come across him earlier. I’ve been RUclipsing fish stuff for the last 3 years and looking at starting my own channel very soon.
Love seeing this video come out, I’ve been waiting to see this tour for a bit. Ordered a plant pack from Scottish Aquatics a month or two ago. Great guy great plants. Great video Corey keep up the good work. I love helping support the good guys like both of you!
the planted tanks and house plants do go hand in hand. Once i started getting into the tanks the plants shortly followed. man i love this hobby :) . thanks for the great content even though this maybe super old!
Im new to aquariums, got a small tank of Platys ...i detected slime yesterday, which im told is start of algae😣😣, tank is only 3 weeks old. I got a better filter and already water quality is nicer, it's only a 17l tank, already I want bigger lol. I got them to entertain my cat originally, but now I'm hooked .....haha.
Great Scott!! (those are some nice set-ups!). Love his 'follow nature' philosophy. I'm going over to his channel right now------> Thanks for another great video, Cory. You keep showing the real folks of RUclips, and leaving the drama out.
So since you have many planted tanks all made in very different ways with all different substrates, which substrate type do you think gives you the best results with the least amount of issues? And do you like Fluval Stratum? I love how bright green plants pop with a black substrate
Stunning tanks! That style is my goal 😍 Being a South Florida native, it was very strange to hear that other places don't have AC and that it's "fancy"! It's a straight up necessity to live here lol
I have never washed any wild wood that I have collected and use in my aquariums. I havent ever had a issues. I have planted tanks and fish. Yes They might domestic fish by that I mean captive born fish. Some of my bettas are not captive bred. I also hace some wild unknown minnow fry that rode in on plant I'm glad I never washes them with hot water, or did a plant dip. In stead they go in a QT tank for plants, with tge lake water. I slowly change out water with mine. I have found this to help the wild plants more and it doesnt shock them as bad, and they seem to survive better. I feel the wild wood addes to the ecosystem and makes it that much more independent.
He has great tanks. Probably the best non professional stuff. You should have him scape a tank at the store and get him some business and you sell more plants and materials.
@@scottishaquatics7392 your tanks are awesome. I have not kept fish since 1987/88 and watching these channels has gotten me interested again. The Aquascape tanks are incredible, it really got my attention. Again yours are top notch and and as good as many of the professional ones i have seen online. Cory seems like a great guy and his store seems awesome. If i had a local store I would have probably gone out and gotten a tank already. Im going big if i do it, 300 gallon or bigger! You guys should do something together, maybe teach a class at his shop or something. Charge $25/persone and come up with a package price for a 10 gallon set up and supplies so that everyone can scape and take home. this way you get some $$ and cory could sell tanks/supplies. Might turn into a business!!!
Very nice room. Really very impressive. I have a question. I noticed that aquariums in the USA are extremely poorly processed. All I saw had thumb-thick silicone seams and these plastic edges. Are there no frameless floatglass tanks with a good quality appearance? It doesn't have always to be ADA, but here in Germany, also the cheapest tanks are frameless with thin silicone approaching with a 5-year warranty. Surely this must also be possible in the US?
how much are those frameless ones? the price for a 10 gal is $15 USD. i would appreciate those frameless tanks than these poorly put together cheap tanks haha
When he made a comment about the divided planted tank about algae, the fluval planted stratum lowers ph and algae grows best in ph 7-9 but in low ph its harder to grow 😁
Oh man, this is so informational!! I will watch again and take notes. Is there a video on the process Aquarium Coop is using for plants between receiving and selling?
Great looking tanks! I wish my water was better here in central Michigan. Very hard and super high tds (1000+). It’s been a struggle to say the least...🌱

Amazing video
I am so happy you release video's that fast.
Another down to earth aquarium keeper. Tanks looked great and the conversation was easy to listen to.🏴☠️😎🌴

Awesome tour, Scott's tanks look gorgeous 😍👌
I've used Fluval Stratum, that stuff as far as substrate goes is amazing for plant growth.
Best aquarium tour to date!
Just woah! Fish House goals 👌🏽👍🏽

Wow he's got the most amazing plants and tanks -- so nice :)
Planted tanks are my favorite!!

Try rummy noses with your Discus. They will color up great in that tank. Love your tanks.
Very motivating to see home aquarist tanks & what they are creating👍😁
The name of the gravel is Vigoro and is outside with the garden plants. I just bought a bag for the same purpose.
This guy is amazing . Tanks perfect.
Thank you Corey. Scott has been discovered.

amazing setup
So since you have many planted tanks all made in very different ways with all different substrates, which substrate type do you think gives you the best results with the least amount of issues? And do you like Fluval Stratum? I love how bright green plants pop with a black substrate
Fluval stratum is actually a very good substrate to use for both shrimp and plants
Tank in a closet and with Doctor Who figurines above it. Love it!
thebeatonpath haha glad you caught that
His tanks are amazing!
Nice work
Amazing tanks and great aquarist!
Stunning tanks! That style is my goal 😍 Being a South Florida native, it was very strange to hear that other places don't have AC and that it's "fancy"! It's a straight up necessity to live here lol
Gaby Jaspan I agree, I was born and raised in Arizona where AC was a requirement! I still think it should be everywhere lol
This is passion 💪🏼
This is my dream fish room!

Scottish Aquatics in the search bar should find it
A great video and a fantastic selection of tanks, something like I would like to have.. I will definitely be checking out his channel. Thanks.
Beautiful tanks man. Should throw like 30 danios in that 55 for your daughter they’re very fun to watch!
More like "Plant Room". Awesome tanks and scapes. The first one would be perfect for breeding betta macrostoma.

Oh man, this is so informational!! I will watch again and take notes.

What are you nitrate readings on your 75 gallon palladarium tank?
Just beautiful tanks makes me want to be a fish.
18:10 Those colour up pink when the nitrates get low.
Nice tanks!!! Respect.
Great looking tanks! I wish my water was better here in central Michigan. Very hard and super high tds (1000+). It’s been a struggle to say the least...🌱

Im looking into making a river fish tank and am wondering what the best filter would be for moving water?
