This is THE video release of the year for Aquarium Co-Op. If you could do us a favor and share this with your local fish club or facebook group and help insure this gets seen by hobbyists we'd really appreciate it. If you're new to this channel, make sure to *subscribe!*
those are very long and big and very colorful males! The mutation traits are very admirable and takes years of breeding at home and he gets them like skittlez probably evry batch 🤣😂
Honestly I wonder if he was just the guy who spoke the best English. Two or three times he said stuff that just goes against everything most know about the hobby. Also you go ahead and feed your guppies all day long, water quality aside guess what most fish will eat even when the next bite will be the bite that kills them. Guppies will eat themselves to death.
IKR! Here in Brazil, most breeders (if not all) go by length, and most of the guppies develop a crooked back as they get bigger, and they are more prone to fin rot (just like so long tailed bettas), after this video, i will never raise guppys the same. The tray system is so simple and effective, it blew my mind
Just at the end of this year, make a live stream to tell as all the new things you learned this year from other hobbiests or breeders about fish, breeding , food , plants etc.
same i started with guppies just because i thought it was fun to mix and match the different colors and see what would happen then i learned that you can kinda do that with cichlids and ive been a cichlid guy ever since but now seeing this i might want to start up a guppy tank also free cichlid food lol
Fantastic video Cory. To be more clear on the types of Algae he mentioned, one is the Astaxanthin for the red coloration of the fish after it is centrifuged. And the other species are for different colors. The centrifuge concentrates it more.( gets rid of the water).
We're not seeing this in America....because IFGA standard DEDUCTS POINTS for "chesty males". It's trying to create a totally different fish shape. I really wish you had followed up with why he thinks his fish are "rubbish" after 4 months.
It's probably a combination of the fact that he he want's the fish to last a long time when they get to your aquarium, and the health during shipping. Young fish tend to ship better for a variety of reasons, and there's several months between when he sells them and when someone buys them at a shop. Guppies don't live very long sadly. I would be curious to hear his reasoning for going against the IFGA's standards. My feelings are that much like the American Kennel Club, the IFGA has no clue what makes a healthy animal (or just doesn't care), and is perfectly fine with sick animals with hideous deformities getting best in show. Personally I think the results speak for themselves. This guys fish look healthy and robust. Meanwhile I've seen guppies from show winning IFGA stock with serious spinal deformities, and most of their best in shows seem to have curved spines as a baseline. I certainly know which one I'd rather have in a tank if I ever wanted to get some guppies.
Exactly! im so curious by what he ment on that. Do they die young, do they bend spines after that timee. Really knew what the expert meant when he said it
@@KelvinGreyheart well a well cared for and looked after tank of guppies will last longer sources say 4 to 5 years but on average 1 to 2 years also hes saying that those pretty much grown fish are only 2 months old when it takes 6 months for a guppy to reach 2 inches so im a lil skeptical of this guy lol nonetheless hes got very good looking gupgups
Have personally never seen such beautiful guppies at Pet smart or Co but i do hope our country soon changes the standards because the guppies featured here are stunning and i dont even like guppies. The standards here and what he is breeding are totally different shape&body wise
Wow those guppies look amazing, I don’t think I have ever seen anything similar in my LFS. I find if interesting the farm is in Israel and they import fish food from Iran.
His guppies are PHENOMENAL! I’ve typically stayed clear of these particular live bearers due to their diminutive size in comparison to other live bearer types. Well, if he can breed them as healthy & plump as shown here, then I’m all aboard.
Thank you!!! I've been waiting for the Israel video! I expected no less then perfect from the holy land! Absolutely beautiful guppies!💙 Fantastic job !!
MN the size of those guppies is impressive. The attention they pay to those fish is amazing . I've never seen anyone who even does this. Yes I've seen farms on RUclips and in person before and nothing like this. Awesome 👌
OUTSTANDINGLY GORGEOUS GUPPIES! What wholesalers is he selling to? Can we get these in the USA? PLEASE import these, Cory!!!! Breeding for body conformation, shape and substance is the #1 key!! Male Guppies, in the USA, are long and skinny ~ We only judge and look for color and finnage, which is only 1/2 of the fish. I REALLY want some of these Colors Farm Guppies, from Ran Epsteen, but where can we get them in the USA???????
"i wounder if i can look at it, see if i get yelled at" lmao yes cory! my hero! asking those difficult questions! going places few dare to go! loving this
The scale of the quality is amazing! 😇 Usually, only small private breeders can reach these full-color body guppies in the U.S. I found myself nodding "Yes" to so much that he said throughout the video!! I could go on and on. I would like to know who is lucky enough to get to buy these fish! Where do they export? Thank you so much for posting.👍 I like to see that QUALITY is still out there, especially for the common fish like neons and live-bearers, which all too often are bred to weakness. I am very jealous if you got your hands on some of these!
I always thought female guppies looked better than males, despite their colors. Now i know why, the ones I saw were only bred for color and not proportions.
Gotta say you are getting better and better access to sum amazing fish farms, to bad this country hasn’t caught up with that kind of tech, clearly these other places take it far more seriously
@Shariar Tanim do you hate muslims? what a weird question to ask out of the blue this is about fish not religion, and trust me i know the history between israel and the surrounding countries and why there is animosity between yall but there is a place and time for that and this is neither the place nor the time for hate let us show nothing but love for our fish hobbies.

Aquarium Co-Op for the future if you had a better mic to mute all the background noices that would be a 10/10 ! But still an awesome video
For sure. However we were low on time and Ran didn’t slow down to ever get a mic on him. I intend to go back with a proper film crew.
Aquarium Co-Op what did he mean when he said the guppies would be rubbish after 2 months in the hobbyists hands? Sounds kind of weird to say.
Wow... that was great.
This is the best. Thanks
