Yeah! usually in mainstream media when gay people are portrayed, it is when they're young and discovering /accepting they're gay and not just being gay and doing married couple stuff. That's why Jessica and Claudia feel so refreshing and nice. It really gives you a sense of hope that maybe this could be your future...
Manic Jessica and pregnancy brain Claudia is a great comedy duo. I really hope you feel a bit better now, though. You are going to be excellent parents!
Claudia looks like she's fast approaching that phase in the pregnancy where, when I was that pregnant, my cat got confused about where my lap was and sat on my belly instead. Yes, I was sitting upright. No, I couldn't tell where my lap was either.
My cat would lay on my belly all the time. The baby did not like anything that slightly constricted. Elastic waist bands caused kicking fits. Anyways, cat would purr, baby would kick kitty, kitty would meow/yell at me like it was my fault.
Jessica gifting Claudia points every time she does something for growing a baby in her belly is the type of love and appreciation I need weekly. Lovely and you'll both be amazing parents!

For all the pregnant people in the comments reading this: It is actually not clear what the safe amount of alcohol in a pregnancy is. A little bit is probably fine, but we do not yet know how much exactly is fine. So it's best to avoid alcoholic drinks all together during pregnancy. Have a great pregnancy and safe delivery :)
Adding to that: sleep research of unborn babies indicates that the mother drinking alcohol severely impacts the child’s sleep pattern. For the mother the effects are the same as they would be otherwise, but the baby does suffer a negative effect. (source: Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker). How “bad” this is in the long run isn’t really clear. It’s almost more a question of social behavior. The moment a woman is visibly pregnant, there will be a lot of random people who feel they have the right to dictate how she should behave, as if she is reduced to a babymaker and therefore considered public property.
@@AnanasAbanaan The data is that small amounts are fine. And there are many cultures where it is traditional to drink for example diluted wine with dinner and these cultures do not have in general more unhealthy babies. The only issue is that it is hard to tell where the actual limit is, but small amounts do not have negative effects. It is crazy how we police pregnant people about alcohol (problematic only in large quantities), but do not police them about caffeine which actually has clear demonstrated negative effects starting from minimal consumption.
@@kolmkilpkonna It is crazy. Especially since we do seem to have a social code that people decide for themselves if they consume alcohol, coffee or animal products, or whatever. But then when you're pregnant, suddenly that all goes out the window.
I study nutrition at uni and from what I gather the best option is always no alcohol at all. Not only for pregnant people, also for your overall health. It might be little amounts don‘t do much harm (as far as you can tell) but nothing is always better than something in this case. Recommendations by authorities allow for certain amounts just because it’s so ingrained in our culture(s). Telling someone a little bit is okay probably has a better effect than telling someone to stay off the drink completely.
