This is my seed sowing video for March 2022, this list is not quite complete, I have yet to add in Lettuce and a few other things, but it is good to get organised for the coming month and spread the sowing over that time to lighten the load.

I like Autumn King and Gladiator , you've got a busy few weeks planting.
Thanks Steve another really helpful video, I'm taking my 5 year old grandson up my new allotment tomorrow we are both excited for spring.
Nice one Derek, give him a diary now!...Steve...😃
I’m glad it’s not just me the chard is a no show for! I was getting worried it grew so well last year but nothing this year for germination so far.
I’m now trying picture little Steve in his short trousers, tongue sticking out as he concentrates scribbling away 😀😀😀
Another fab video Steve, and thanks for the mention 😀
Steve I’ve become your personal note taker!!! Everything you say from seeds your sowing, tips & advice, I have to constantly put you on pause to make notes 🤣 incredible tips & advice every time. I’ve quite a collection from you now it’s brilliant 🤩 🙏🏻👍🏻
I’ve been gardening over 20 years but my style has totally changed after following you. I’m definitely more confident & knowledgeable this year you’ve taught me so much. 🙏🏻
Love the story of you working with your grandad. We need to hear more of those days. He’s definitely taught you well & luckily for us you’re passing on these invaluable skills. 👍🏻🥰 🙏🏻

Thanks Michael!...Steve...😃
I may just quit trying to second guess our weather here and plant what you plant when you plant it. New rule: Just follow Steve!
I'm planting 6 dozen Palm Trees tomorrow!...Steve...😁😁😁
@@GreenSideUp What!!?! Well...... I have about 40 fig trees in pots that I can't leave out over the winter, so there!!! :) LOL, please don't get me started on Palm Trees!!!

Loving this channel sooo much🤗 Many thanks
Excellent advice, Steve. I just sifted a bunch of soil today and said to my wife, we need to find a video that explains when to sow it. You answered it!!
Cheers from Victoria, Canada

@@GreenSideUp pleasure Steve , always very informative and much appreciated 👍
Thank you. I sowed my tomatoes today. 🍅
I always see Tomato sowing as a "red letter" day, and very special, I must be going mad...Steve...😃
Funny as I have just tried adding more info to a journal as what I liked what grew well what we never ate 😂😂 but what I am doing more is adding to my calendar on my phone so I can set up successional sowing with alerts. Thank you for sharing 🇨🇦🐝 safe 🙏🇺🇦☮️🌻
I must be on track as I've sown almost the same veggies as you thus far, I'm sowing a lot of flowers this year so have been following what you do with interest as I've not a lot of experience growing flowers but have gone for scented ones like stock and sweet peas which I will sow next week with my tomatoes as it'll be 4 weeks until last frost, hopefully 🤞. I'll send you an email when I've got some photos of interest as to what I've sown . Thanks Steve, Fletchy 😁🌱☀️
I'll look forward to the photo's Fletchy to see how you are getting on!...Steve...😃
👍
Wise man your granddad and a good teacher. You were lucky to have him, I barely remember mine. Do you find you are sowing seeds at the same time as years ago. I have found I need to sow tomatoes a couple of weeks later than I used to due to a cold snap which occurs more often in early May so can't plant out as early.
Great information! Thanks for sharing. Fully watched, liked and subscribed. You have a new friend here👍
just checked my cauliflower seeds (Snowcrown) sown on the 2nd and they are just poking through the soil and Cucumber Diva sown the same day and just breaking thru the soil probably b ecause they are indoors.:-)
I've been struggling to keep my seedlings warm in my cold frame. What I ended up doing was putting a hot water bottle in it and it is just enough keep the temperature good for the seedlings.
I have grown Carrouby de Moussan in the past. The pods can get large and they are also a bit bendy. When we joined the Common Market they disappeared from the market for years because they hadn't jumped through all the rule hoops. One of the many reasons I disliked the CM from the start.
Some advice please Steve and fellow gardeners. I planted my Autumn Onion sets last year in a Raised bed. They have all died and the few that came up are rotten and the bulbs still small. Over 50 sets. I'm thinking that the compost i used is contaminated maybe. Any ideas?
Google sheets is good, and free
Thanks Amanda, yes that is another great free option along with open office. But the google docs does not have to be installed on your devices so a great choice...Steve...😃
@@GreenSideUp Ah cool, hadn't thought of that :) Thanks Steve.
Great as always Steve, right on time. Very helpful to us novices. I mentioned to you a variation on a theme to your carrot boxes which gave me a little idea, no big deal, but I had a mini raised bed polytunnel 8'x4' getting old which I didn't know what to do with so I've got it down the allotment, stripped the old polythene off, recovered it with veggie mesh and the carrots are going in- Autumn king. We'll see if I can beat the darned root munchers!
