A "Josh" isn't necessary, but it definitely helps 😅. Most important is to have the weight of the car on the spring while compressing and disconnect the sway bar if possible. I also put some grease on the threads of the tool.
So came across your video..Damn a bit late I did the whole remove everything..so I decided to put heavy duty springs from expedition 98 got from the junkyard I was trying to get that A1 stance..oh I have 01 Lincoln towcar didn’t realize I can go bigger on front shocks will that bring me up a notch of inches will p71 work what do recommend..LOVE THE CHANNEL keep at IT!🤙right on Brother from Cali
Hello, thanks for the video. Can you tell me what type spring compressor you used? I have ordered the horse shoe spacers already. I have a '96 Crown Vic
Probably possible not not a good idea. I say that because on the 98-02 front end if you go much higher, you run out of up-travel. That's why we don't recommend the ebay donk-lift which maxes out the suspension. At that point you either have to do expensive drop-balljoints or tubular upper arms to regain handling.
We used shocks for the p71 police package which are slightly longer. Original shocks would likely still function since this method doesn't max out the travel on the system. If your shocks are ready to be replaced use the P71 shocks.
Thanks for posting this. I will be doing this also, just waiting on the parts. I better recruit some hefty friends it seems.

The internal spring compressor that we use is an "OEMTools 27035"

I finally got the spring compressor!
So you got a 2- inch body left and a 2 inch suspension lift
Still working good ?
Hey how are you doing man can you compress the spring enough up For 5 inch lift cups
Can you do that with 5 inch lift cups
Can I use this even tho I have a 3 inch cup in there to get 5 inches?
What did you use to lift rear of the car?
Can you stack another horseshoe coil spacer atop one another horseshoe

Did you have to change your shocks or anything?

Would p71s go on a grand marquis ?
Yes, I used the p71 shocks when I did this lift on my marquis.
Ah S*x Panther. Great reference 😂👌
