Hey could you help me make a decision between two laptops please?
I'm between buying the "ASUS TUF F15 i7-12700H/16GB/RTX 4060" or the "ASUS TUF A15 AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS/16GB/RTX 4060" also the F15 ram is ddr4 and the A15 is ddr5
Dont buy Asus tuf, look for legión or pulse

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the best enemy (yes, enemy) I played against/with. He was so hyped on my kills and his energy was so fudging positive the entire game, the lobby we were in was the best I had in months, maybe years. It was crazy, I would literally pay to have those lobbies the whole time :D

I enjoy your content very much. I will admit to binge watching your videos. If I pull the trigger and buy a gaming lap top without a doubt you will be responsible (in a good way) for the my decision. I game on an iPhone 14pro so anything bigger would be a huge improvement. Here's something I have learned: If you don't give your wife 100% attention 100% of the time she will 100% time make gaming miserable.

I've been seeing a lot of bad reviews about the laptop like battery not charging issues, apps still running in the background even when the lid is closed, cpu temp rising to a hundred even if the lid is closed.
I wanna see and know long term review before buying it or if it was fixed by ASUS already.

I just sent mine back after having it for a week I'm getting this when my refund hits the screen messed up after an update finished and I couldn't fix it even a friend who works on PCs could t fix it and told me to send it back so now I'm getting this one now

bought this laptop only issues is brightness needed to be 20% more and vram needed to be 10gb which is not lenovos fault but js
2:20-3:00 the fans start spinning hard… is that the stock fan? Have you had to replace the fan since you’ve gotten the laptop?
Have you ever had a laptop? The fans spin hard to try and cool, it is pretty normal...some fans sound way worse than other though like a high pitched whine

Thanks for the video. I'm a PC user - but it just blows my mind that people are fine with jet engine-level fan noise. If this truly were a perfect laptop with a capital P, it would be QUIET. Which it isn't. That machine is unbearably noisy, as the video clearly demonstrates. You saved me some money, because I was actually thinking about getting that Lenovo. I wouldn't have used it for gaming, but for DaVinci (which loves to have a powerful GPU), but I now know I would have returned that machine on the first day already.

Okay so i ordered a Lenovo LOQ 15,6" FHD 144 Hz RTX 4060, i5-12450H. And it had the worst ghosting ive ever seen on that panel. So later i'm going to call to return the product and then get this instead. How is the screen smoothness, any ghosting on high refresh rate? Thank you for the video. Shouldve gone this one first fudge me....

4070 is the sweet spot
4080 if you want to play 1440p without issues
4070 laptop is 40% slower compared to desktop version wich is a lot so 4080 should work better

Hi, how is your battery doing, i see diffrente reviews getting about 7-8 hours, i am getting about 2 hours.
While gaming?
You cant expect any more than 2 hours when gaming on battery since that uses a lot more wattage than basic tasks
Also its pretty good that you are able to game on battery for 2 hours when I tried it with my Legion pro 5i i7 13700hx It barely gave me an hour , that goes to show how efficient AMD Cpus are , If you put your laptop on Igpu only mode and make sure its applied correctly , bcz sometimes Vantage will just glitch out and don't properly apply the settings , I'm sure you can get around 8 hours on doing basic tasks like watching Movies etc

I just bought the Lenove Legion 5 Pro a few months ago. It's absolutely amazing. It has a ryzen 9 7945HX, RTX 4070 and 32gb of DDR5 5000MHZ RAM. Itś a complete gamechanger even coming from a very good computer (Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 2060 and 16gb of DDR4 RAM. I think it's an amazing laptop and the RTX 4000 series laptops get way too much hate.
agreed, I first purchased a legion pro 5 and it was very fast. however, I needed to use it unplugged frequently but the CPU is not efficient so I would get bad battery life. I returned it and instead got the legion slim 5. It is amazing. Not as fast as the power hungry CPU of the pro 5 but it more than makes it up for me in the efficiency department. I could get like 5-8 hours of battery on the slim 5.

If you’re going to be bringing this outside as a portable laptop, 7840HS. HX is quite a bit better, but the battery life will be worse.

I don't get why they put 1600p screen in a laptop. 1200p much better option
The laptop is overall great but the screen is a massive downgrade. Lenovo Legion 5 Pro from 2021 had the same screen but with 500 nits brightness.
The difference is this one is 1350 and the legion 5 pro is 2000. That's pretty expensive for 150nits 😅

I'm not totally confident but I heard the max TDP of the card is technically 100w because there's no improvement in gains after 100 watts.

Lenovo "legion" has the best laptop for this price
I don't think the legion slim 5 has an AMD Ryzen with 4070 option. If you want a 4070 then you have to go with the intel version. So, wither this is a Legion Pro 5 or there is something else that is wrong. Correct me if I a wrong as I have been looking for a lenovo slim with an rtx 4070 and AMD processor

That is a shame, this seems to be the best configuration with respect to energy efficiency and performance. If you don't mind, how long does you battery last while browsing and watching videos?

I havent really tested my battery while browsing and stuff bc i keep my laptop charged most of the time. Its better for gaming since the battery life isnt that good for gaming. Id say it lasts 2 hours, maybe a little bit more, when doing intensive stuff like playing heavy games. I read somewhere that the battery life while browsing can go up to 7 hours and while that might be true, it wont be the case on my laptop since i bought it with the intention to game and i have my settings set to performance.
