I'd probably classify cyno in this category when it comes to the electro units that are dps. Both do damage but their enabling capabilities to make reactions consistant is insane. The damage output from doing so is also just as consistant. This is what dendro excels at too and is why majority of them can be dps's regardless of the support capabilities and the dps's are even better at the job like alhaitham. Overall, this shouldn't be too surprising. Anyone saying childe is weak are probably the same ones claiming dehya and xinyan are good tbh.

I think so, for Zhongli he breaks opponent's all elemental and physical resistance by 20%, which is good for me as a Kaeya main. And Childe even can stay just for his talent (which, in openworld that you would most likely put 1 main maybe 1 sub-dps and Bennett like i do) and as a nuke dps.
the only time childe uses his em is while dealing dmg with vaped burst and it does not help CA dmg so it's not necessary to have high em on childe since atk and crit stats can help dealing dmg with both ca and burst

Amazing hydro application makes him best driver for xiangling 5. Quadratic scalings makes him good against aoe situation and he can apply hydro on every enemies Disadvantage 1. High CD for some players 2. High skill required 3. Have a little lower dmg than other dps Ayato 1. Good driver where high hydro application is not required 2. Low skill cool down 3. High dmg 4. Easy to play Disadvantage 1. He is good in many teams but is not BIS in any meta teams 2. He can be replaced by any other hydro character like kokomi 3. Not have any NUKE
Kazuha is still the best for this team, but you can use Sucrose for now. And yes, Lyney's weapon is pretty good for Tartaglia. Be sure to combine charged attacks alongside his normals when he's enabling to make use of the charged attack damage buff as well.
It's not very important, Childe's melee attack scales off purely his elemental skill talent. Personally i have him at 6/10/10. The normal attack only enhances his physical attacks and bow charged shots, which are rarely used (the charged shot is only once or twice per rotation for double-swirl setup).

Yeah, polar star still amazing, Polar star and aqua have their pros and cons like Polar star has a decent 608 base attack and nice 33 crit rate, but you have to stack it While aqua have massive 88 crit dmg but low base attack 542 Edit : polar star have a passive that increase dmg by stacking Aqua just increase HP
Polar Star is still the best, but you can give him other 5-star bows like Pulse, Hunter's Path, Aqua, and Skyward Harp if you have them. They deal similar damage numbers, the gap is not that big.
And xiangling only gets to vape all her hits cause of childe. THe only other character that can allow xiangling to vape is xingqiu but that's single target only. Also Childe allows for double swirls and his dmg is pretty good too

He's really good but most characters can hit big number with supports like Benny, Kazuha and Mona, especially if they're together like in this video plus food buff. Don't get me wrong, i like using Childe but i wouldn't say he's broken, he's balanced. The ones i consider broken characters are Ganyu, Kazuha, Zhongli, Bennet, Xianglin, Xingqiu, Nahida and maybe just maybe C1 Neuvillette. Why i said Neuvillette? Becuase he's pretty much able to solo the abyss without any support since he does alot of area damage, has a very easy artifact set and can heal himself so can can use him solo while you leave your most powerful characters for the 2d face of the abyss. Many people has troubles cleaning abyss florr 12 because they lack the proper team for one specific phase of the abys but since Neuvillette doesn't really need anyone unless you don't have his C1 in wich case you'll just need a shielder. P.D: I forgot to mention Yelan because she's a 5 star Xingqiu when it comes to damage.

I don't know why people are comparing dps and support. It's so obvious that dps can deal more damage than support. If you need dps pull for childe. Child is one of the best dps in the game. Meta say the best. Keep in mind that when choosing a dps there is always alternatives. But you need to look for supports that can be use with your dps. For Zhongli, he is the best shield sup, comfortable to use, easy to build and very useful in openworld situations. Most dps characters need investment. So if you already have(build) weapons, artifacts and support characters for childe, pull him. He will definitely useful in abyss. Abyss is just part of the gameplay. If you're mobile user or very bad at dodging I strongly suggest Zhongli. I am suggesting for f2p and average spenders. Not for 🐳.

Primogems don't grow on trees, it's normal to avoid tartaglia, especially with the new archon in 4.2. Everyone is saving primos for focalors or neuvillette.Anyway, well done with the abyss, good hydro application is fundamental in first phase.

Nuke IS dps as long as it's on a high crit rate build lol. My childe has 95% crit rate and he can nuke 500k+ so yes it is considered dps

Dude can barely win against a hydro slime. With the new region adding more hydro enemy he become more useless. No wonder he got 1 tap.

Many players pulled lyney and of course yelan. I got c3 yelan and I found also lyney bow and aqua simulacra. Primogems don't grow on trees, it's normal to avoid tartaglia, especially with the new archon in 4.2. Everyone is saving primos for focalors or neuvillette.Anyway, well done with the abyss, good hydro application is fundamental in first phase.
