    So do you need 240fps to make 240hz work?
    Otherwise you get screen tearing because your GPU doesn't match your monitor?

      Yes you need atleast 240, with something like GSYNC tho it’s slightly less

    Very good and very professional Video. I am just about to order a 1440p 240hz monitor, mainly for CS2 (or other competetive games) But IMO on a budget you can easily use 144-165 monitors and dont feel a difference. One of my friends even played on a 75hz office monitor for years and he was Global Elite (CSGO). So be happy with what you have (except it is 60hz like cmon its 2024 you can get 144 hertz for 100€.

    360hz 0.03ms response time 1440p
    It only cost +/-$100 more for the 360hz.

    How significant impact is 240 hz vs. 144 hz for desktop, browsing, typing, scrolling pdf:s?
    I really would like to know your opinion.
    Because I experience improvement in 144 hz vs 60 hz in this and this improvement is important to me. I am considering to buy a 240 hz monitor (with good reviews), ex. msi g274qpx.
    I have a1440p 144 hz Predator-monitor from year ca 2015 today. I play some single player games and enjoy the 144 hz also for this.
    Thanks! Br //M

      I think for a gamer Who is playing competitively it is noticable, but for singleplayer games i think 144 Hz with good Resolution is enough. I mean singleplayer is more enjoyable on 144 fps with good graphics then on 240 fps with worse graphics.

      if you're rich, go for a 1440p 240hz but it's not really worth it, going from 1440p 144hz to 1080p 240hz isn't worth it unless your a competitive gamer that only cares about frames 144 hz to 240 hz is a bit noticeable when moving around windows etc on the desktop and in competitive games (eg. flicking your mouse, moving when scoped in with a sniper etc) but I would say stick with your 1440p 144hz unless you're rich

      240 hz is the sweet spot, if you play fast phased games

    • @Shan_Shah
      @Shan_Shah 3 дня назад

      @R-py6uf honestly, I would say value wise 144hz as 240hz still is a bit more costly, and most games still struggle to get you consistent 240fps+ and meanwhile 144hz is rather easier to recieve even 165hz is receivable and only basic games like cs go will easily get you over 240fps consistently in 1440p, the difference between 1080p and 1440p on a 27" monitor is a day and night different and the difference between 1080p vs 1440p is much bigger than 144hz and 240hz, to be honest the negligible difference is not worth trading off QHD+ monitor I know there are 1440p 240hz it's panel, but it's very expensive and rather to recieve and your long around a 2 grand to maintain between 240fps and 300fps consistently, if your a competitive gamer than getting 180hz-240hz monitor the the sweet spot.
