Having this monitor for almost a year and a half now for pc and ps5 I absolutely love it. Great for single monitor setup. Also you can just flick the button to the right to switch the input instead of going through the options
If I say this is the best review I've seen, I swear I'm not lying, everything in this video is perfect
Thank you!!
yeah, all killer no filler!
I bought this monitor two years ago.
It's still the best performing 4K 144hz gaming monitor with my PS5 and PC.
You've had it for 2 year?
How is it I've heard gigabyte products are cheap and overheat
the flickering issue is because some people don't push the power cable all the way in into the monitor, so make sure you push that thing in hard and you'll be good.
I just grabbed this monitor today and I absolutely love it. Wanted to swap away from Ultrawide cause of compatibility annoyances. It was really weird swapping, but didn’t feel that much smaller to me.
I still love my ultrawide but there’s something I seriously dig about this one. I still want to try a 27” but I think I want to have a gaming setup at home using 16:9s
that's because a 32 inch 16:9 has more surface area than a 34 inch 21:9. Your new monitor is bigger.
@@ColeCaccamisewhere did you purchase the desk?
@@younghannibal7434 it was a butcher block from home depot
@@ColeCaccamise thanks 👍
If you don't care as much about visual in competitive games, you can use integer scaling to 1080p. You'll get much higher fps and it'll be extremely close looking to native 1080p resolution. That should give you maximum flexibility when using a 4k monitor.
I got mines for $580 brand new in Amazon. I got it a few months back. They usually run offers on it. I love it!
How's it working so far?
4K monitors are super cool i bought one six months ago the Asus 28 inch 4K 60hz but today on black friday i went and got this 144hz 32 inch. Thanks for the good video
what did you pay on black friday?
665 USD. With the PS5 this thing is a beast its super
It was a very helpful decision. I am buying this monitor for my Mac and PS5.
I ordered this a few days ago. It'll be here on saturday. I currently have a Gigabyte 34" ultrawide that I actually like a lot, so I took a chance on this gigabyte monitor. I'll probably just put my ultrawide in portrait mode right next to the new 32"
Hope you enjoy it man! That’ll be a really nice setup
Are you still using it? Been looking to replace my 34” 1440p for 32” 4k.
@thibo19 don't get the M32U. The display port died and it got dead pixels. Piece of crap if you ask me. I have the Samsung Neo G7 43" 4k 144hz monitor now
To solve stupidly placed ports problem I'd suggest getting 90 degree adapters (from Aliexpress for example).
You may get away with one per port or get two 90 or one 180 to direct them upwards. Also a 90 degree power cable is a must here.
it's not stupidity if people want to put monitor on the wall there is no other place for ports, otherwise no options to put it on wall.
Still, I thing most of the people put it on a mount or a stand@@npc5100
Love the clean setup as always dude 🔥
Appreciate you always my man!
I just got mine today and I gotta say that this monitor is amazing....
And now?
@@leekzy3139 I actually returned it. After using it I noticed that the IPS screen had a yellow color that was bothering me a Lot. I tried everything to adjust/calibrate and nothing worked. I have other monitors in the same price range that does not have that (also IPS). Everything else in this monitor is great but I was honestly expecting more from the colors. Maybe I got a defective unit?! Now I went with the LG C2 and I never looked back. OLED is the way to go…
And now?
@@Tarunparyani Still LG C2 and I still didn't look back.
A same monitor I have one and bought it $600 over 1.5 years ago. This gaming monitor is absolutely good value and impressive.
Is it curved?
@@MagicAyrtonforever Flat!
21% off right now on Amazon I'm picking mine up now, this is a great value
Recently i got the 28 4k. Its an amazing monitor. =)
5:06 exactly the opposite for me personally, i would rather play story games in 1080p but play multiplayer pvp like battlfield, tarkov, cs, valorant, on 4k because spotting tracking and shooting targets becomes much easier.
Liked the gameplay during the day bc the light just gave it such a vibe
Haha thanks bro
I'm thinking of getting the UC version which is VA. Heard great things about it. I also need an all-around screen for all the purposes - casual gaming, video editing, pdf/ebooks reading, and watching movies and tv shows.
I had to comment because this review is fantastic. Keep this kind of content up!
I got this 2 years ago now, mine is still working perfectly. If I remember correctly I heard this monitor was a lottery for a good panel for backlight bleed.
Edit: mine had minor backlight bleed.
i got the curved version of this monitor and it slaps ! Amazing monitor cannot complain.
the curved version have a VA panel and also I head it heats do u have any problems with it bro? I want to buy one but the VA thing makes me rethink
Man, your setup is Amazing 👏🏿👏🏿
I have the M28U. Pixel density is 160 ppi and this monitor just is excellent
In simple words input lag is the difference between you moving a mouse and seeing the result of that movement on screen and not what you said it is at 5:59.
I have M32U for almost a year and I can’t recommend it enough.
Glad you’ve enjoyed it
There is the possibility to set a shortcut on the joystick (default is to the right) to get to input source switching faster.
Hey bro, I also have this monitor and love it, btw you can flick the analog stick to the right to have instant access to the inputs. you can also bind different quick actions to the diferent directions in the settings
Hey Mate... Nice Setup You have there, can I ask you what kind of tripod you use?? Pan shots looking pretty clean and smooth
Thanks man! The tripod legs are the Manfrotto 290 but I put on their MVH502AH video head. Makes most of the pans super smooth but sometimes I just have to do some stabilization in davinci
As someone who owns and ultrawide and a second monitor, I think I might need to switch my ultrawide for a 16:9. Mainly due to how wide my setup is. I'm still a little worried that I'll miss the ultrawide for gaming and work though, hmm.
this is my situation rn, plus i play a lot of cod & cs so all the extra screen real estate makes life slightly harder but for story games it's wonderful so idk what to do which is why i rather a 32 rather than 27 inch
have u an 4k oled tv ? that would be interesting beacuse i think oled tvs are just better picture quality than every monitor possible right now.
My fav monitor!! Very reliable!!
FSR Performance with 7900xt high settings gives 144fps in the entire game of Cyberpunk . I would rather have 80-90 fps of pure native 4k, though , and the M32U is great for that . I am LOVING IT.
*******PRO TIP ********** DO NOT PUT MONITOR TO CLOSE, 80 cm is about the sweet spot, I been using it for MONTHS way to close!, Start closed and back away till picture feels immersive. THIS TIP WOULD HAVE SAVED ME MONTHS!
Get the hdmi 2.1 to display port. Made a difference with the ps5
That works?
Thats a really clean setup!
Thank you!
Your welcome! Also I have a question. Its about the wooting compared to a custom keyboard. Would you say the wooting feels the just as nice as a custom? Or a little worse?
I’ve never had a proper custom keyboard. This is the most I’ve ever modded one. Because of the switches wooting uses it does limit how good the board can sound
Thank you very much.
Great video and explanation !
Thanks man!
Great review! The DSC is a problem for me though - probably not a problem but in theory it will degrade the image, but more than that, I will not be happy lol. I do photo and video editing. Cheers.
Just ordered this today! Got it on sale for $459. I have a PS5 and I know it's VRR compatible but is it also compatible with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) on the PS5?
Can u please link the wallpaper you’re using it really shows the great display quality
shabekco.gumroad.com/l/aepwe
Did you consider LG C series 42" ?
Hearing OLED is great for gaming, especially C series being heavily recommended for PS5..
I fear it will be great for gaming but too big for regular producitivity use? So bit on the fence...
not sure if i would ever use that big of a monitor. i have the 48" c1 as a TV that i love.
gotcha.. I am going to find out soon, just pulled the trigger on the 42" C3 !
enjoy man!
This review made me buy lg32un880p as a guy who works 10h per day I don’t want to touch computer after anymore. I’m rarely gaming on the weekends and if 60hz seems to be totally enough if you are not playing playing to make money.
More of talking about color accuracy with light facing monitor is a misunderstanding. I don’t get why people use those lights on top? 😆 is it to cover light glares with bigger one?
In general good review, thanks
This video quality is very impressive.
I appreciate that!
Isn't 32 to big for fps?
Great and helpful video. You deserve more subscribers.
I need to buy a monitor arm as well, this looks good, any thoughts about other options?
Thanks man. I recently bought a gas-spring arm. i never want to go back to one like this ngl. it was pricey but worth it for me.
Where’d you get that laptop holder from? I must know. Great vid

*$700*, without breaking the bank. thats craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. if your job is content creating go for it. the average user, prolly find sum better
I got the m28u for $444
@@itzsabbage3830the 27 or 32 wich is the best for my ps5??
Something better? No. Something more affordable? Yes. Better is subjective. Just like how much money you should spend. Considering this is one of the cheapest monitors in the category . It’s not crazy at all.
Loser - maybe go get a job? Everyone who works can afford a 700 usd screen
Broke cope
I want the gigabyte M32 UC I need that black bro by the way can I video edit in daVinci resolv with the M32UC
Great video! Is your windows 11 taskbar completely transparent? If so how did you do this?
Thanks! Yes, I’m using translucentTB from the windows store
Expected some inputs regarding the KVM, otherwise nice review.
I tried using it and found it super confusing and finicky
@@ColeCaccamise thanks man.
Hey man, nice video. Finally made a decision on to get a 4k over an ultrawide 1440p. Thank you for your video! I just have to ask what FPS counter were you using? Looks so clean.
its MSI afterburner but i changed the font to inter i believe and played with the colors
@@ColeCaccamise thanks man! I didn’t think you’d see my comment but thanks a ton! Will definitely check it out! Keep up the great content!
Good choice. I love my m28u
Am looking to buy a 4k monitor not just to game on it but to also stream 4k movies and videos.
Very nice setup,
Can you please share your desk and chair? where you got it from? thanks
it's the matchspel from IKEA www.ikea.com/us/en/p/matchspel-gaming-chair-bomstad-light-gray-30571531/
also desk is two alex drawers & a butcher block from home depot
"most of you probably dont have a card like 4080" bro that was personal 😭😭😭
Lmaooo didn’t mean it like that 🤣
a very good review,,,but i think the people who review these 4k monitors should state which GPU,,and graphics card would be minimum?,,,,thanks
Man, I'm sad. I ordered one just so they messed up and sent me the arm edition instead. Now I can't set it up and will have to wait them check the pictures, take the monitor back and after they checked if everything is ok finally send me the right one.
That’s super annoying I’m sorry man
clean setup
Is this one considered better than the msi optix or samsung odyssey g7? Currently the g7 is like 230€ cheaper, i am waiting until black friday deals to decide on one of these 3 for a 4k 144hz 32 inch
Purple Wallpaper??
dang i was sold for this until you said backlight bleed, low contrast & no hdr😤 how much of a lack is it?
Great video brother. I need a monitor for my PS5 casual gaming and work. After nine months, is this monitor still a good choice, or should I get something more expensive?
I really like it. I've since used the new Alienware OLED and still think this is great
I truly appreciate your response, brother. Actually, I thought about buying Alienware, but I'm not sure whether it's worth it. The price is twofold, but I'm not sure you get double the quality. What are your opinions on the pricing being so reasonable?@@ColeCaccamise
Depends on if you care about OLED. Also 240hz makes it essentially future proof for a while
looking good, what is the chair you're using ?
sohne work sans
I am thinking of changing a 32 60hz Philips TV to an LG 32" UltraGear 32GN600 165Hz VA 2K QHD Monitor to play singleplayer, do you recommend it?
What is the name of the wallpaper on the desktop?
How many feet do you seat from the 32 inch screen that’s comfortable. I have been thinking about getting one myself but I don’t know if I have enough desk space.
I do not understand info about hdmi 2,1 ports. As I understood there are 2 options on ps5 to run games in so called 4k resolution with 30-60 frames or run full hd resolution with 100+frames if possible. Or you saying that on proper HDMI ports you will get proper 4k resolution with 100+fps. Some new info for me
I'm running a 3070ti 150w laptop, but it would be great for my digital art. Do you think it makes sense to get a 27" 4k?
At 27” I don’t think you’ll be able to appreciate the increased clarity
@@ColeCaccamise Probably not as much as at 32", but at 27" it's the same pixel density as my laptop screen, so I was thinking it would be very clear.
that's fair. no doubt it'll still be very clear. If you're not planning on gaming much I think it could still be a good choice
Could you tell me, what is the brand and model of a chair you have?
You can swap inputs with quick menu fyi
Hello, I would like to know I have had this gaming monitor recently, and I would like to know if you use the HDMI or the display port to play on PC, I have tried both for the moment I am more satisfied with it the display port, I have the impression when I turn that I suffer from a little lag etc. whereas when I see your video it looks very smooth when you turn etc. do you have any tips to correct my problem, I don't know if I misconfigured the screen or something. thank you and very good review
Always DisplayPort. Are you sure you have free sync/gsync enabled on the monitor and your gpu?
I would still prefer to buy an QD-OLED Monitor - definitely looks better than IPS panels.
I definitely want to test one of those out
Good video.
I am torn between this one or the Dell G3223Q 32" 4K UHD (3840x2160),max budget for a 32'' is 800 euros or so.
After weeks of looking at a lot of models i kinda settled on one of these 2,i am not tech savvy AT ALL and the whole thing just made get constant headaches while trying to compare specs and trying to learn all the tech terminology.
Well anyway,good video,cheers :)
Wait so PS5 can’t be fully utilized with this monitor? I have both Xbox series X and ps5 trying to figure out which monitor to use for which one and don’t exactly understand
imagine the gpu you need to run all games maxed 4k 144fps... its insane
im mostly single player guy right now rarely i play a multiplayer game as right now i only play story mode of game and i dont know if this monitor for me im mostly looking monitor produce amazing color resolution and 4k run smootlhy and look amazing when im passing a story in game !
I think it’s perfect for that, you get the picture quality + the performance hit for single player isn’t a huge deal
@@ColeCaccamise yeah because as right im going back anytime sooon to competitive games as fornite and call of duty games like that im mostly looking for monitor when im passing story of game and im looking around the details are amazing with accurate colors and the resolution is 4k and run smooth no input lag you know
I do not see an optical audio connection. What monitor do you recommend in this category with that feature?
I have doubts if the fc24 video game on play station 5 looks better on this gigabyte m32u monitor or on an LG ips monitor? Because on the latter (LG ips) it looks too real, even if it is only used with full HD resolution.
That’s a great price considering most 4K monitors are thousands with all the gamer rgb BS
Which rgb software do you use for your pc
Got this monitor but the blacks are really bad on it, also the monitor keeps switching brightness and color depth once I open games and the display settings. How can I fix this?
nice monitor but I'm gonna wait 1-2 years for Display Port 2.1 4k 240hz OLED
that'll be f*cking insane
Hello, Should i buy M32U for PS5?
As we know Ps5 supports 32gbps.
M32U has 24gbps.
Will it reduce quality?? Will it noticeable?
Any help would ve appreciated.
(Or should i go with comparatively costly LG 32Gq950-b as it has 48gbps?)
This video made me not pick the monitor, I went for the FiQ32-X from gigabyte with QHD 240hz 270hz (OC). In your video you can clearly seen ghosting in the monitor. I preferred a 2k monitor with a top IPS panel with no blur , rather than a cheap IPS panel with blur in it, Fiq32x has also greats color and descent HDR. Maybe I would go for 4k on 140hz when Oled monitors come out, I would also have to upgrade my GPU to future 5080 RTX
Be careful because the ghosting may be more due to my camera. Maybe im just blind but I don’t notice it
@@ColeCaccamise thought so too. Most Ips even good ones have a tiny ghosting tho. Did you saw the Oled 32 inches 4k 240hz that are coming next year? Those are the ones I will get for sure. Good video, thanks
ruclips.net/video/ZQrN2vWexgc/видео.html
That’s insane. I wonder how much it’ll cost, would love to cover it
An I7-9700K CPU of 2018 with a RTX 4080 graphic card? 🤔That's an interesting match!
It's a 7-800 upgrade for the CPU and Motherboard that I just don't want to make
What case are you using, or video about your setup
whats the light that you are using above the monitor. Can you please share the link.
Idk bro I came from a 1440p monitor to the m28u bro games look crispy asf I got a 7900XTX i get 144h or more in most games
hey there idk if you reply but i was wondering if there’s is currently a better option for a 32” monitor even if it’s just a bit more expensive but not alot or does this keep being the best option
Not that I’ve tested
Why didn’t you for the same price buy the better built arm addition? Must have money to burn.
does it have hdr10+??? and what about the curved version of this monitor???
i just bought this, i hope its good
Enjoy man!
How’s its holding up?
@@NYKandNYJ it's really good so far, looks amazing only thing kind of bad are the speakers, but it was expected haha
What desk do you have
I have this monitor and it is connected to the Xbox series x console. Today I bought the Call Of Duty Black OPS Cold War game. I have FreeSync pro enabled in the monitor settings, and the refresh rate is set to 120 Hz in the console settings. Despite this, Call Of Duty runs at 30 frames, and I don't have the 120 Hz option in the game. Why is this happening? I'm asking for help because I want to play Call Of Duty tonight and have the full experience of the game :(
Love mine
What's better this or the lg32gq950-b I'm really tied and I need a 32inch monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio for competitive gaming.
I’ve not and any experience with the LG. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that one is good tho
doesn't make sense to go for a 40 series card since its literally a copy and paste from 30 series with some "AI" locked features other RTX cards are capable of. So now fsr 3 just now released of course. 2 month after your upload. I would've invested into amd a 7900 xtx to help future proof your needs due to vram limitations the rtx cards have this time around.
Could you be able to reply to this comment with the best colour settings for this monitor? Because mine looks very washed out
hi
if i'm runing 2k on the monitor how many frams it will give me?
thank you
i have exact same setup just monitor is g9 odysssey
Did you use dlss for hogwarts? Even my 3060ti can do stable 60 fps at 4k with dlss at performance. Or turn off the RT as the RT does not even look good in this game.
I don’t remember the specific test but generally I have dlss on. Agree with RT tho the difference is minimal in most areas
Hello, what is the depth of your desk that your monitor sits on?
