It is, and you’re right the color spectrum on the gigabyte is not as big as the iMac. I mostly is the m32u for gaming and a secondary screen for editing/management where 100% accuracy isn’t needed. But I stick to the iMac for true editing. I have edited the RGB spectrum since this video, toning down the reds and greens which helps reduce the yellowing effect

I’ll admit it’s not the best monitor. You talking about an IPS display vs LCD. I had to do quite a bit of custom adjustments to get the colors as close to the iMac as possible. So for photo and video editing, I stick with the iMac display but for gaming the gigabyte is great!

I think it’s worth having multiple options. I have a 4k TV as well that I use. The series x and PS5 have hdmi 2.1 which allows for 120hz, VRR, and HDR and you need a tv that supports hdmi 2.1. Your current tv is still great and you are getting good quality. But once you see how smooth 120hz looks compared to 60hz, to me it’s a worth it.
Thanks for your answer; you're right I did not considered the VRR and Smoothness, also I'm getting started on coding so I think this will be a perfect match for gaming and coding; thanks a lot man!

Practically the same monitor. Only difference is the overall screen size. I think it comes down to what types of games you play. For fps, the small screen would be better, at 32” your eyes have to wander around to see everything. If more action/adventure/story/rpg, 32” is ideal and also great for movies/tv.
Please help. It has only 24 gbps hdmi2.1 and ps5 has 32 gbps. Should i buy this for PS5? Will quality be reduced or anything? What will be the effects? Any help would be appreciated.

The m32uc is a curved display vs a flat panel with the m32u. I think the m32uc does have a fast refresh rate 160hz vs the m32u which is at 144hz but that won’t make a difference because the ps5 is 120hz max.

To be honest, I don't know. I doubt there is any spec difference between the two. Just screen size. So I would assume it is the same as the M28U, just larger.
im mostly single player guy right now rarely i play a competitive multiplayer game like cod halo and fornite as right now i only play story mode of game and i dont know if this monitor for me im mostly looking monitor produce amazing color accuracy and 4k run smootlhy and if not i setteld with 1440p and look amazing when im passing a story in game and you know looking around while passing story to impress me while doing it !
I’m the same way. Most single player, recently been playing FF16, Baldur’s Gate and finishing up Jedi Survivor. Occasional multiplayer like COD and GT7. Really smooth 4K and can do 120Hz in performances mode. Colors are good but not 100% accurate out of the box. I wouldn’t trust it for photo/video editing but for gaming the colors are good and vibrant. Remember it is an IPS display, not OLED so the blacks are not the best and the HDR is good enough. For a $500-600 4k 32in screen, it’s a great monitor. Otherwise you will be paying a lot more. Hope that helps and thanks for watching and your support! ✌🏽

Would using hdmi 2.1 do anything for the ps4 or no since it can’t do 4K gaming
No not for the PS4 base. Like you said, it doesn’t do 4k. The PS4 Pro was HDMI 2.0. Only the PS5 is HDMI 2.1 which gives 4k, HDR, 120fps, VRR etc..
Just got this monitor today! Now just waiting for my Ps5 now 🙄
It’s a great monitor and you will be all set for when you get a PS5! Good luck, they are they getting easier to find now! Keep me updated. Thanks for watching!
@@InfinniteLife what are your best settings for the ps5? The options are overwhelming 😅
Did you get you PS5?
I have the monitor too one problem is i use the 8k cable and in game it always switches saying HD 2
and the monitor really gets massive hot i set up everything in nvidia gsync 144 hz did i forget something when i used it the first time it said gsync on the right corner now its not
Is there a difference between the m32u and the m28u other than screen size?
Just screen size. The spec are the same
nop the m32u is faster rtings review
I have M28U..wanted to know how is hdr of M32U is it bright...is there any brightness, contrast improvement over M28U..
To be honest, I don't know. I doubt there is any spec difference between the two. Just screen size. So I would assume it is the same as the M28U, just larger.
@@InfinniteLife how do you find the brightness of m32u
Best!
Thanks for watching and your support!
How does this compare the the 27 inch one? I don't have space for a 32 inch 😅
I haven’t tried the 27inch monitor but the specs are the same so I’d assume overall the same experience.
@InfinniteLife Okay, thank you
Is the monitor VRR and ALLM compatible on the PS5?
Absolutely! 4K max 144hz (PS5 caps at 120hz), allows for VRR and ALLM! Everything you needed for HDMI 2.1 gaming! ✌🏽
Do you need that mouse and keyboard?
Yeah, kinda do 😜
Turn off he HDR. Looks much better
Does this monitor need a manual update or does it auto update
It will auto update if you download the gigabyte utility tool from their website.
Hello does the monitor support vrr and allm on the ps5
100% has VRR. I don’t think it has ALLM.
What is deffernt to m28u? Only the size or other thing?
Spec and component wise they are the same. Only difference is the size.
nop
If you buy an hdmi 1.4 2.0 or 2.1 does it come with the cable or do you have to buy it?
The monitor came with 1 HDMI 2.1 cable
The manufacturer is called Gigabyte, not Gigabit.
im mostly single player guy right now rarely i play a competitive multiplayer game like cod halo and fornite as right now i only play story mode of game and i dont know if this monitor for me im mostly looking monitor produce amazing color accuracy and 4k run smootlhy and if not i setteld with 1440p and look amazing when im passing a story in game and you know looking around while passing story to impress me while doing it !
@@InfinniteLife yeah i saw one oled monitor really expensive i dont know how much price drops around holidays were i may get a deal but i dont know what you told me it makes me second guess it now lol
@GubiYoroi2 give it a try and see how you like it. If not you can alway return it and try something else. Keep me updated on what you decide!
@@InfinniteLife well most likely im going to order it online i dont know if is going to be here in my country so i may not return it back !
@@InfinniteLife well as long when theres moment in game where it goes black and i can see enough i guess would be fine as long i can see enough when i go around darker area in the game also sorry to ask you alot of question but can you go more into details about colors are good but not %100 accuarte and colors being good vibrant i guess go more into details about those part !
Currently at $549.99 in Newegg.
That’s a great price for this monitor. Worth picking up if you are in the market! Love playing modern warfare on it!
@@InfinniteLife Bro, I just subscribed. Thinking that you were up there in the 200k. Great video!!!
I wish! but no I’m a new RUclips under 1000. But thanks to you I’m one subscriber closer! Thank you for your support. Got many more videos coming soon!
Would you recommend M32U or the Sony Inzone M9
Haven’t used the m9. The one advantage the m9 has is it’s contrast ratio which will make the colors really pop. But otherwise they are both IPS panels. The m9 is a 27” screen vs 32”. And the m9 is almost twice the price.
Best rec, get both, test both out and return the one you don’t want. Let me know what you decide! ✌🏽
So this one or g70A
Both are great but the 32” g70A is more expensive.
@@InfinniteLife so more expinsive means better ?
Not necessarily. You have to test it out and see for yourself. A good friend of mine has a gigabyte monitor and it looked great so I went with it also. Statistically, the g70A is good on paper but i haven’t seen one in person.
Someone told me the HDMI 2.1 isn’t a true 2.1 output
Why would it not be “true” 2.1? I’m able to get 120hz and VRR refresh rate, HDR and ALLM. The only way you will get these features is with HDMI 2.1!
Dmoe this snja vnabma
Gigabit M32U? lol thats what he said at 0:08...
Hahah yup that was a clear fail on me. 🤣🤣🤣
Ojalá baje de precio
Do you need a computer for the monitor? or just a console like a ps5
You do not need a computer. You can use it exclusively for consoles.
@@InfinniteLife thanks man you earned a subscriber
Lol, when reviewing hardware, at least get the company name correct, it’s not GigaBIT, it’s GigaBYTE.
Honest mistake. Lesson learned. Thanks for watching!
m32uc is better
How’s the viewing angle? Did u notice any washout of colors?
@@javirivera1825 well the curve helps that and i sit directly in the middle of it at a desk so no issues, and i am usually in a dim lit room which is perfect for this monitor. no wash out really but it can be adjusted, other monitors i couldn't get the washed colors out, but this one hdr was better.
And with the flat panel, there’s no washout unless you are at a very extreme viewing angle.
@@InfinniteLife Thanks for intel. I know you have a single setup on your video, but would the IPS version be better for a dual monitor setup (due to viewing angles)? Was thinking of curved but if I have them side by side most likely wont be centered on each one.
nope response time is slower
Clip yo damn nails... xD
u can set to see how many fps u do with your ps5 ?
