For the love of God, pleasssseee sell the slide as a stand alone upgrade!!
ESPECIALLY since it doesn't have the chamfer by the loaded chamber port which directs SCORCHING POWDER RESIDUE ALL OVER the lens of my optic! Just look at the video THUMBNAIL! Eliminating the chamfer in the slide lessens the tendency to spray the optic, but DAMN... just eliminate that port ALTOGETHER!
I "contacted" S&W through their website "contact form" in March of 2023 about the need to eliminate that port COMPLETELY on the "optics-ready" models, since you can just as easily see brass on the side by the extractor, just as I have always done on my 5926. Told them I LOVED the pistol (Model 13567), but would NEVER buy another with that stupid port. Didn't get a response, so a couple of weeks later, I e-mailed one of their big-time product reps about the issue... never got a response from him, either.
At least they've gone halfway, but...

why do you need a 3.6? 4' barrel length is super easy to conceal and the smaller the snapier.

S&W styling and performance has come a very long way in pistols since I purchased my first brand new one , my model 59, back in the 70's. it still is a flawlessly running "super nine" with modern ammo, but this new models are really something more !

The slides are little busy for my personal tastes, but I get that the market kinda likes that shit lol. Always have been an M&P guy so please keep pushing this platform. It's only gotten better with time.
Love the deeper serrations because my grip isn't incredibly strong... and no I don't want their EZ model although it's great too.
Start selling slides to upgrade. Add a rail to the shield. 🔥🔥🔥

I know! I got so angry when I seen that 😠. I love the shield but I refuse to buy the shield plus because of that one issue. It's literally the only micro pistol on the market with a front rail! Smith&Wesson just isn't the company that they use to be. We should have a 3.0 by now not aluminum frame pistols with triggers that are barely improved. The triggers should be matching apex by now. Apparently CZ is releasing a new p10c this year so I'm going to consider switching to a different company.
That Shield Plus Carry Comp will be by next purchase! Great job S&W.

I don't own any S&W pistols, but love my FPC. I was wanting something comped to compliment it with a 15 round grip just like the FPC. This is it! Although, I'd prefer the FPC with a 17 round grip and an M&P 2.0 17 round to go with it, this will work too. It's on the list! Unfortunately, my channel is too small to get one for free. 🙃

And they still kept the loaded chamber indicator cut in the barrel that vents carbon directly onto your optic. I love the M&P but this feature kills it for me.
Sick! But I'll wait a year or two for the kinks to be worked out...I learned my lesson with the 10mm M&P a couple years ago. Now if you'd also make this in a 40 or a 357Sig...Now that would be something.
Very Cool! when is a 40SW, 45acp and 10mm going to be available? I already own the MP2.0 10mm PC 5.6 and I would love to see a 4.5 to 5 inch version in the calibers I mentioned to maximize performance for concealed carry.

The Walther PDP is just very difficult to match FOR ME. I have several S&Ws and Sigs and lovem all but the PDP just fits.

The cut on the barrel in front of the optic has kill the desire to get an M&P for me.
I wish the night sights were also suppressor height so we could have lower 1/3 cowitness with our optics, just like there are on the regular m2.0 OR line.

Love when S&W does a new release and it is still not at Gun Stores yet. Great way to potentially generate demand, remember, I go and will not see your new release and see something else by a competitor. You make awesome firearms, however, insure they are avaible at the release date.

S&W, I’m retired LE, firearms instructor & master Idpa shooter. Please make a steel frame, full size M&P, with integral comp, red dot mount & and grip with 360 degree texturing, that will just make Idpa weight limit! (About 43oz.) The aluminum frame M&P makes no sense, more expensive & basically same weight as the polymer.
Machined optic plates would be nice 😁
Now pleeeeaaase make the grip on the shield plus longer so the its the length of the magazine grip extenders!

I'm going to wait for a polymer frame version. You can buy the regular version for $500 and throw in an apex trigger kit for $180, night sights for $100. That's $780 and the apex trigger absolutely destroys the performance center trigger. I guess it depends if you want to pay $200 for a comp port.
