I have a 10 gallon tank of the red calceo And they are breeding like rabbits I have all different sizes and they just keep breeding do you know if the blues are like that also. I have my TDS at 220 and they are loving it never thought that a caradina shrimp would go that high in TDS. When they are at the lower TDS they were not breeding as well
Blues breed quite easily also. That's am interesting observation about the tds. Mine do quite well at a tds of 110. But mine are Asian ones, yours might be German ones and they keep them at higher tds

@@RWAquariumPages thanks for the reply. Ive had 5 of them for 2 months but no breeding yet. looks like a few do have a dark brownish saddle so hopefully babies soon!
@@citrus1229 wish you luck, but my tip is shrimp do better with friends, so 10 to 15 they're be more comfortable but not saying 5 won't work. Wish you success
