- TV News items on the retirement of the RAAF's F/A-18 A/B "Classic Hornet" fleet. The retirement flight display was flown by GPCAPT Jason Easthope, the Chief of Staff of the RAAF's Air Combat Group, at RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales, Australia, on the 29th of November 2021. The Hornet was in operation with the RAAF for a remarkable 36 years.
This video is a compilation of TV news items from Network Ten, the ABC, Newcastle's NBN and Channel 9. Thank you to them for reporting on an historic event in the history of the RAAF.

I knew Ross Fox who brought the first hornet to Williamtown with Bruce Mouatt. He was killed at Hornet Hill in a mid air collision. 02.08.1990. X still love him.

We do, that's a casual salute, not a formal RAAF salute.

Which salute are you talking about? The army salute, the navy salute, the Air Force salute or the casual informal hatless salute?
