Those were only coral reefs years back and hundreds of miles away from them. But few miles near our shores. That's concerning, it's like your neighbor is adding garden paraphernalia beside your lot and then the next day you would see them constructing a permanent wall few meters on your property. America always mingles with other countries' problems as if they are the moral conscience of this world. They always deport their soldiers to other countries' war, but they fail to compensate their soldier's efforts. No good retirement package for them and when they get home, they don't even have proper counseling to help them get over with the mental and emotional stress that they've been through. I remember a retired marine ending up as a cashier because he doesn't have any retirement plans. Others even ended up broke and homeless. It's international waters which China is making a claim on. By having a military presence from other countries it keeps the waters open and free for all to use. There are also strategic and resource reasons. Imagine it is much like squatters rights. If china claims the area and nobody contests it, it could be argued it is now there's. So long as allied militaries maintain a presence China can make no such claim.

They would turn away about 2 miles out and then cruise back slowly on a parallel course to the ship - close enough so one could see the pilot. I hate to break the news to you, but this happens all the time. We used to do it every day off our coast in the 80’s and 90’s. (And still may be doing it).
Soviet Bear bombers routinely tested our airspace on the east coast. Alert aircraft from bases down the coast would escort the bomber until it was no longer in our airspace.
It’s also no surprise that they get close enough to see each other… the bear bomber had a tail gunner and it wasn’t uncommon for him to wave… something you could clearly see.
This isn’t “closer” to war, this is the world of defense and how the military’s of the world practice it.

Those are artificial islands that they built on the West Philippines Sea right next to my country, the Philippines. Even though it is called West Philippines Sea, we don't even claim that all of it is ours. And yes I'm worried because why are they creating non existing islands near our shores.
Those were only coral reefs years back and hundreds of miles away from them. But few miles near our shores. That's concerning, it's like your neighbor is adding garden paraphernalia beside your lot and then the next day you would see them constructing a permanent wall few meters on your property. How would you feel? And that neighbor is the owner of the company you are working for? Who owns a much bigger lot but is now taking portions of your lot. That is what is happening here.
What we want is peace and don't want to get bullied by someone who is much stronger than us. And we also don't want anyone building new artificial islands that wasn't there when I was born near our shores. That's a place where most shipping vessels trade. We are having a hard time using that waters for trade and business because it is now filled with military installations by China.

There is no historical record available to show whether China undertook unbroken and continuous sovereignty actions against the Spratly Islands (southern South China Sea) prior to the Japanese occupation in 1939. China's territorial claims are groundless.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
After World War II, Japan renounced its claims to the Spratly Islands. However, it was not clear whether any state would inherit the right to claim the Spratly Islands (southern South China Sea). Therefore, there are no historical documents to support the Chinese government's claims.

China has cameras everywhere, a full-fledged cell phone tracking system, and people are monitored by a government surveillance system.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
In China if you want to track a specific person, you can. When someone goes missing, the relevant information can be hidden by the Chinese Communist government so that the person cannot be found.
In recent years, many underage students have gone missing. It is rarely reported in official Chinese media. In November 2022, the disappearance of a young boy in Wuhan caused great concern among Chinese people.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
In the West, waiting for a suitable organ takes a long time. However, many Chinese transplant hospitals only take a week to a month to complete a match and find a suitable donor for a patient. Some even offer emergency transplants, in stark contrast to the long waiting times for donors in other countries. Some organ transplant operations in China have multiple matching organs on standby for each patient.
Few Chinese voluntarily donate organs because the traditional Chinese culture highly values the integrity of the physical body. China has a long-standing culture of believing that the body is a gift from parents and heaven, and that the soul needs to be cared for and protected so it can be taken to the next reincarnation. Moreover, in recent decades, the Chinese government has not made a big call for organ donation. However, there are many organs available. Organ crimes in China were first exposed by overseas Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners and dissidents, many of whom were detained in prisons and detention centers, had their blood drawn under the guise of health checks. They soon disappeared. Sources within the CCP system have revealed that many of the organ transplant donors come from these Falun Gong practitioners. Behind this is the organ transplant industry chain; the Chinese Communist Party's police, prosecutors, courts, hospitals, and the Triad of Chinese criminal gangs.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
Such practices have continued for more than 20 years since former party leader Jiang Zemin's crackdown on Falun Gong in 1999. The organ transplant industry chain has also spread to Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia. The Chinese government-led organ transplant industry will use the big data widely collected and generated during the past three years of the Covid pandemic to quickly identify specific organs and make more accurate matches. Matches to transplant recipients can be easily found from vast amounts of genetic data. Those identified have gone missing. There has been an increase in the number of teenagers who have disappeared.
Evidence has been found to suggest that Falun Gong detainees were mass murdered for their organs. Massive disappearances of young Uyghur men, reports of routine blood tests of Uyghur political prisoners, reports of mysterious deaths of Tibetans and Uyghurs in custody - all of these people are under the control of the Chinese Communist government, are victims of systematic organ harvesting. It’s a crime of the Chinese government, a genocide committed by the Chinese government. Japanese people are also being targeted.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
The world will decouple from China and Russia.
The world will put the most severe economic sanctions on China as we do on Russia.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇪🇺🇯🇵
      Chinese students who
receive Chinese government’s scholarship must sign agreements with the Chinese government. In Written contracts, these students must promise that ①they won’t engage in activities that harm the interests of Chinese government and that ②they must follow the management of Chinese consulates.
      🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵
Several Chinese Students at Lund University in Sweden were found out to have signed these agreements.
The agreements are between students and the China Scholarship Council or CSC. The agency is under China's Ministy of Education. CSC sends Chinese students to study on scholarships around the world including the United States. The CSC works with many colleges in the U.S. like Harvard, MIT, and UCLA. About 370,000 Chinese students in the U.S. on 2020. One in every 14 Chinese students in America
      are sponsored by CSC.
The students must swear loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party.
"Applicants must support the leadership of the Communist Party and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.”
CSC asks students to submit periodic research reports to Chinese consulates.
The students are being forced to follow the Chinese Communist party's orders, like participating in the Chinese Government’s overseas influence operations, gathering intelligence and stealing intellectual properties. The Chinese Government is exploiting students to steal intellectual property from the West.
A guarantor of a student has to sign the agreement as well. Under the contract, that guarantor can’t leave China for over three months when the student is studying abroad, and the guarantor needs to pay scholarship payment if the student brakes the signed agreements.
Two universities in Sweden have stopped working with CSC.

Developments will move very rapidly if Taiwan ever formally declares independence from China, which Taiwan might be forced to do if China ever tries to push it too much.

    • @GR8APE69
      @GR8APE69 Год назад

@StochasticUniverse I don't think so, because what does China get from that? As it stands, China cannot claim AND keep Taiwan. That sort of conflict will, without a doubt, lead to the irreparable destruction of Taiwan, which will leave China as the claimant and keeper of a smoldering rock. If they ever wanted to have a hope of getting Taiwan back they would have had to do it by winning over the hearts and minds of the Taiwanese people, shifting a majority of Taiwan's citizens to supporting a peaceful, ultimately diplomatic reunification resulting from formal treaties, but over the last decade or so the OPPOSITE has happened, and less Taiwanese citizens than ever before identify themselves as ethnically Chinese or want reunification with mainland China (with some trending toward being anti-People's Republic of China, where they had been largely apathetic before). The thing with Taiwan is that Taiwan is only valuable if whoever lays claim to it can ensure that Taiwan's technology and industry remains intact so that they can reap the spoils of taking over their microchip manufacturing sector. Otherwise, it might as well be some random island in the ocean of SE Asia. China, without a doubt, holds the losing hand in this conflict. The United States is once again cornering the market on microchips which will allow the US to be dominant in AI and most, if not all future forms of technology. China can always try to make their own chips, but it is INCREDIBLY complex. That's why TSMC (a single company in Taiwan) manufactures some 90%+ of all high end microchips, one company in the Netherlands makes nearly 100% of the world's lithography machines used to make the chips, and the USA has the companies which design all of the chips; and furthermore, the USA is the country which has control over how this entire global market is currently situated. It would take China so long to create their own microchip industry that the rest of the world led by the US would be several decades ahead of them in terms of technological advancement. And frankly... GOOD. Fuck China. The USA isn't perfect, but at least we don't roll tanks through our cities slaughtering protesting citizens by the thousands, or have such fucked policies like the ones enacted under Mao that tens of millions of people die from famine, and so many other things that could be mentioned here. China needs to be taken seriously as the real threat that they are to a peaceful and free future for humanity. Fuck China.
