You never feel cheated with a Tom Cruise movie. The production values are always high, and he gives it everything he has. The only thing that’s left is for the Academy to award him an honorary Oscar for making exceptional movies over the course of the last four decades.
The Most Awesome & Highly Appreciated part of this movie is the fact that they're not using a green screen for the flying scenes..! 🙌🙌🙌 Both a Rarity & a Gem these days! 💯
I'm 64 year's old and this evening my daughter invite's me to the official preview here in Belgium. Can't wait for it ! Still so exited as in 1986 🤣 !
So how was it?!
@@agentkrasnobay it is super awesome. they gave you topgun and MORE. it is everything a topgun fan could ever wanted.
It’s unbelievable, the nostalgia, the emotions, the incredible acting, the story… didn’t disappoint. It must be watched in a cinema!
The whole crew should be proud.
Watching this in Xtreme screen with the bass shaking your seat gave me non stop chills.
Had the classic Top Gun structure but also moved forward with the times.
Bravo 👏
This movie is just a time travel back to the 80’s for me. That’s when legend movies were made. And this one will still be remembered in 30 years
Life experience in your line of work is an invaluable resource, it can't be stolen or bought. Tom's experience in making movies has really shown his best work here. Most remasters are terrible but this looks like it's just obliterates the original and sets the bar immensely high.
Damn a one mission from ace combat took a whole 2 hours, loved it and when the mission started it was so great
Hard mode on bogey dead six
Really makes you appreciate the level of planning that goes into each mission that they do not show in the Ace Combat games. They just give you a mission briefing, a slap on the butt and say "go get 'em", then you're off in your X-02 Wyvern to save the day.
They should have just sent Mobius 1 or the Razgriz to do the work
@@gimmeallurmoney3883 Or The Demon Lord.
I'm glad an ace combat reference is in here lol
Tom Cruise never disappoints his fans delivering instensed scenes that anyone couldn't imagine that has been done in reality with no editing or greenscreen! He is a living legend. This Movie should be on the Big Screen and deserved to be on the top!!
Easily the best movie I've seen in a long time. Honestly practical effects make movies sooo much better than a lot of CGI and this is proof of that. About to see it for the third day in a row
Cheap movies made in the 70s look better than the Marvel garbage these days.
Tom cruise is a very special soul. Along with that, everyone that was involved in creating this film, did an amazing job. A very special movie was created
This movie is epic in its purest form to be honest.
If only the first filmmakers could see what this artform has evolved to. The capabilities of what we are able to capture on camera is purely amazing.
What is insane is that Top Gun 1 was in 1986, the same year of the movie Labyrinth, in which Jennifer Connelly played Sarah, she was only 14 back then. The staying power of Tom Cruise is legendary, definitely one in a million.
The best action movie that has come out in years, and it’s a sequel that beats the original.
Saw it with my boys on the big screen. Action packed, just all around excellent. Must see this in a theater for full appreciation.
They even got the aerial acrobatics of the SU down with their directional thrusters. The attention to detail reminded me in a sense of toms work on days of thunder.
This is a must watch and one of the best movies I’ve seen in my almost 40 years.
Instant classic to go along with the longtime classic.. and Tom thanking people prior to the film, classy!!
Amazing what a difference it makes to ACTUALLY make the movie, rather than green screen it.
Hats off to Tom and the crew for delivering the real deal. 👍
This movie is phenomenal af! Just seen it last night (released on 24th May here in Indonesia) - it must be seen in theater, look at the biggest screen you can find, experience it! Really great movie.
Much love from Youngstown Ohio
Woow!!!have to watch it...this movie's stunts are insane!!
The story is king and Tom did a great job in bringing this sequel to justice. The camera work- superb, the cast and acting was well chosen, and the realism of the planes flying and pilots were as close as you can get!!!
Tom Cruise is quite an amazing person regarding film making, his dedication and ability is second to none. It would have been so easy for them to CGI it and make it look pants, but Im loving that the best of the best are going back to practical effects as much as physically possible and it shows.
The power of Scientology
@@Emtrax. lol People seem to forget how Tom shredded Kirsty Alley over her taking anti-depressants. Guy is a Scientology quack.
@@dev-debug yeah in real life but he plays a character in movies so doesn't bother me at all you should concentrate on your own life views and wellbeing 😊
A lot of it is still cgi, all the formation flying he isn't actually flying in or they cgi the cockpits. Only the interior shots he flys in the back of a two seater. The F14 is also cgi as they don't have any flying
@@kill3rs529 With that logic you shouldn't care about anyone else except yourself.
Being a Navy brat whose father worked with the blue angels this movie brings so much pride to my heart
This movie in IMAX was one of the best experiences. Looooved it.
Tom Cruise an unmatchable inspiring Legend.
Respect to all the other actors and the entire film making crew.
Can't wait to see on big screens.
Saw it last night and the crowd clapped and cheered when it finished. CGI just isn’t the same and your brain knows it
They clapped and cheered? Had to be on or near a Naval Base. No sarcasm intended.
Watching this on IMAX, was like being there ngl. For me 10/10
This film us by far one of the best films I've seen in years! The adrenaline, the dog fight scenes! Man! This film was 🔥
The visuals were matched with a smartly written plot that highlighted how the best of the best would be facing the limits of their ability in a way that was evident on a visceral level to a lay audience. Well done in so many ways.
The script said they were facing their limits. The visuals showed that they were facing their limits. As it should be in film, the script and the screen are saying the same thing.
Just saw this in theaters. The action sequences were insane and kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time 🔥
First time in history to see this kind of action scenes...this generation saw a masterpiece action scene. Amazing job!
Watched it at the Regal 4DX seats. Amazing experience as the seat shakes and moves while the pilots are flying. Amazing acting, footage, and storyline.
Can’t wait to see this for the second time in an IMAX theater, this movie is phenomenal!
Absolutely incredible film. Saw it Sunday and really wanting to watch it again….and again and again. Superbly executed.
You have to give it to Tom Cruise. Decades later, he comes back and absolutely NAILS it! He's one of the last great action stars, he knows how to do it well and he keeps doing it. No "message", no "agendas" no woke crap, just entertainment. Great stuff!
Really? Did you miss the black and female pilots? Nice try. Lol
@@scottrose7728 so having a black and female pilots is now considered "woke"? Lol let me guess, a boomer? 😂
@@scottrose7728 so there isn’t black or female pilots😂
@@scottrose7728 freaking dummy haha look up current naval aviators, and rhino demo team you’ll be shocked what you find a black pilot and a female pilot, lol moron.
Limited woke crap 🤣😁
LOOOOVED this Top Gun. Probably the best blockbuster of the last 5 years. And maybe the best jet fighter movie ever made.
I’m so glad they waited 2 years so it got the justice it deserved. Fantastic
This was the most well done, high energy movie I've EVER seen!!!!
It’s insane how practical has become more impressive than CGI
Yes after Mad Max Fury Road this is the film that sets a higher bar.
@John Carlson those Russian fighter jets were cgi I'm sure about that.
@John Carlson yes, but its still way less cgi than most directors would have used.
It is not practical, it is almost everything CGI
Technology is astounding these days but there really is a huge difference between CGI and reality.
It makes the movie really earn your hard earned money all the more.
Just saw this at the theatre. Their efforts were definitely worth it. You can see the obvious discomfort in the actors/actresses faces as the planes were manuevering and dog fighting.
A brilliant, well-made movie that needs to be watched on the big screen with Dolby audio. This movie brings back the charm of watching movies in a theatre.
Absolute quality, Tom is a legend. Must see for all movie fans.
The flying-sequences are fascinating in this movie.
Caught the early show this morning. Took me back to my childhood when the original TopGun movie came out in 86’
👍🏽👍🏽
Tom is a Legend... You will never find an another person who will love Movies as much as Tom does... Which is why he makes the best Sequel of any movies...
Can't wait to see it at the cinema, loved the original, like most comments I've seen it HAS to be watched on the big screen for all the time and effort these guys put in
You will not be disappointed my man! Goddamn this movie is awesome!
Should watch it in 4DX bro! And prepare to be thrown off your seat!
This was honestly the greatest movie I’ve ever watched, and they out so much hard work into it.
Took my 7yr old grandson to it today and we were both very impressed with it. Like an old school blockbuster.
35 years old and probably the best movie I've ever seen. WOW
Shoutout to the aircraft maintainers who worked this detail. Couldn’t have done it without them.
Tom cruise just made it REAL..tom cruise is very extremely dedicated when it comes to acting..especially stunts...absolute actor.
He didn't. Type Topgun VFX breakdown and you will see
4DX IS LITETALLY THE ONLY PROPER WAY TO APPRECIATE THIS MASTERPIECE
Simple storyline. Heart beating out of my chest the whole time.
Got to see the movie last night in a pre release screening in Belfast. The movie is absolutely amazing
Incredible Movie - is 80% of the two-movie-story, first Top Gun was the other 20%. The visual effects & technology is 10X that of the first.
Tom - Thank You, Thank You!
Madrespect! At this age still pulling off these stunts, this man is impeccable.
So incredible what they did to make this movie. I've already seen it twice in theaters and plan to go again. It's just so entertaining and well done. Literally hits all the right notes. 10/10.
This movie is the best movie of 2022 hands down, absolutely great movie start to finish, alot of nostalgia for me, 10/10
