    A new machine. Yeah. 👏 I love watching you fix machines. I find them fascinating and mysterious and you just take them apart, fix them 🔧, and put them back together; and they work!! I can barely change the oil on my lawn tractor without stressing for a week. 🥵

    Vintage machines are a good investment for a good mechanic such as yourself. Take Care.

    If you look at the old machines in a step by step style, they were generally quite logical. Far easier to fix than hydraulic, computer controlled beasts.

    Super cool. You really did well maneuvering that baler off the trailer - very impressive. You're gonna get good use out of that great machine. Nothing like the good 'ol stuff. Great deal & can't wait to see how it bales.

    These I remember well from my childhood. Just careful around open chains and cogs, fatal injuries are no joke with hay binders. Before you start doing work make sure there are no stuck bearings and put covers on the moving parts.

    We first started using one of those when I was 6. My sisters and I would walk around it as my father drove the tractor to make sure there wasn’t anything in the field he was going to run over while bailing. Then he would go get the trailer and we would load the bails.

    I vote to call the baler Opa (cause he’s old and German)😊 Since it’s been some months since you bought it (looks like summer) I hope it worked and you got enough bales for the goaties.

      This was a deal, here in Latvia not a single working baller under 1000, our used equipment prices are way to high, I am jealous of the deals you get in US, I would have a lot of fun over there!

    I'm sorry to say this but I feel I should... I knew a man decades ago whose uncle was killed on a farm while using a hay bailer [1950s] and his pants got caught in the machinery and to simplify the gore... he lost his pants, his leg and his testicles and bled to death in the field. Please be careful around your new machine... modern devices have too many safety features but that one looks like it has none!

    • @Deividss
      @Deividss  2 месяца назад +3

      For sure it's dangerous and have to be careful when using it! I have warned everyone already not to go near the OLD PTO's since I don't trust them. I think I will have to install some guards as the machine had when it was released to protect us from any moving parts!
