"My time is not free"
Much love bayou!
I’ve been in transportation for 22 years and I’ve been in the car hauling game for about five months. In my opinion I think Central dispatch is over priced. I use Super Dispatch, they are free. I’m home every night with a two car hauler and I do OK. I am making new contacts and I hope to eventually get off the board all together or just use them for back hauls. I hope these new guys learn how to negotiate better so they don’t bring the rates down on the board.
Man you said a mouth full!! All truth
What insurance does super dispatch ask for im starting in the car hauling business in texas i would like if you can give me any advice
hi, could you please let me know the reason why you did not begin with car hauling 5-6-7 car hauler trailers? I have cdl a and planing to begin with 5-car trailer + RAM 5500 or Ford F-550. please let me know

As long as it’s commercial insurance, I don’t think they have a preference

I started small because I didn’t know the game and I didn’t know whether or not I was gonna like hauling cars. I also run local, so I’m home every night. I don’t know if I can load five or seven car hauler doing local work.
Preciate the video keep them coming
Thanks
I run the same way, ive been running ab 2 months...its good you explained ab central, and how you just cant get on there an grab every load you see, its stipulations to it
Just trying to help it can be rough out here. Respect!
Thanks for the video. Im a CDL driver rn and lots of these guys talk about owner operating, but it seems like the expenses almost outweigh the gross earnings. If i wanted to be an independent contractor it looks like HotShot is the way to go. Especially with a used (pre DEF) truck (or small daycab tractor) for like 25-30K$ and like a 5 car trailer (new).
If you go five car definitely get a day cab or semi sleeper Dually trucks aren’t meant for that
@@TheLifeOfSkonie bro is not RAM 4500 or 5500 towing capacity enough for 5-car hauling? I have cdl a, but I believe these are enough for towing capacity up to 37k pounds with proper engine

I’m in Florida bout to start I have cdl , like what’s some load boards to get when I first get my authority I don’t have people that’s really in the game like that
Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch app
hey did you start the business? I am in Orlando and I got my cdl a new, I am getting into this business too. Please let me know
I got Central Dispatch for one month and ditched it, the rates were so low there’s no way. That was about 8 months ago.
Yeah central isn’t for the weak what do you use?
@@TheLifeOfSkonie I don’t haul vehicles at all anymore, I just haul freight and over dimensional from direct customers and fill the gaps with Truckstop.
Question when you went to cdl school did u still have to test at the dmv or did they test st the school and gave them to you after u past
Idk which test your asking about but as far as the written portion everyone in my class came in with their permit having past that at the dmv. I took pre tests at the school for the entire first week and went and passed that Thursday. As far as the driving test they had contracts with 3-4 off site 3rd party testing sites in rural suburbs due to scheduling being backed up at the local dmvs in town. Hope this answers your question and thanks for your support 🫡
@@TheLifeOfSkonie yes because I don’t have my cdls so I was looking floor a school to be able to pass their instead of the dmv or do you still have to go to the dmv sorry for the confusing question thank you for the reply
Great question! So there’s a website called Cristcdl.com take their free practice exams until you can pass them repeatedly they have maybe 20 different tests per the 3 categories. You don’t even have to study anymore just take then and fail til you pass then go to your dmv and pass for your permit. Your school will handle the driving portion either on site or offsite. Hope this helps and I wish you well on your journey!! Thanks for tuning in!
Can you do it without CDL?
Absolutely I have a video on cdl vs non cdl check it out. Respect!
Great video…..send info so we can connect….im in Michigan…..

Do you lease on owner operators?
