    You gotta spend money to make money and u gotta grind. It depends on how hungry you are. But there’s also multiple hustles that’ll help your truck pay for itself

    In my opinion, most of the people run into the business without experience, first you got to do is get a 3-6 months experience driving for a company, whenever you feel ready, then you start, and about the rates, rates been like this for the past 20 years, in 2021 we have what we call a inflation, loads never been that high as 2021 was, that’s why everybody is fucked up, even myself, i decide to buy a semi truck without experience and that’s what you get.. bank rupt, so for anybody that wants to be in this business (Car hauler), yes, you can make money, even with a 3 car trailers, the problem is everybody is in a rush looking for money, takes like 1-2 years to concret your company so be patient and work hard. Find a good Dispatcher and don’t go crazy about the money, you’ll get there. Hopefully everybody understand lol.

    You’re right bro. Starting out in order to grow, you have to be all in. That means if you run out here and get 100k in debt without even picking up a load you’re crazy. First of all you have to build trust and reputation and relationships. You think these shippers gonna let you take their product cause you have a shiny truck? And you gotta put those miles in. You got a wife or girlfriend? Say goodbye.

    I’ve been researching for a while now, because I’m going to get into this business of car, hauling I’ve been seeing a lot of talk from different videos, saying that the rates are low understandable if you’ve been in the game for a long time and have seen good rates like $5 a mile and now seeing it at a $1 a mile but for somebody like me and other people, watching these videos that are barely going to start I say lower down your debt ratio and cost of living for it to be worth it and build up from there because earning 500 a day sounds good to me

    • @Bigeddyb
      @Bigeddyb Месяц назад +3

      This is why the rates are down people like you come into the industry and think 500 is good money. Please stay out carhauling

    • @thatscrazy5466
      @thatscrazy5466 Месяц назад

      @@BigeddybLet me clarify: I wasn't suggesting the rates are good. It's about the debt levels skewing the perception of rates. The economy has shifted, and consumers aren't spending like before, leading to fewer available loads for everyone.
      I understand your frustration with the current state of the industry. It's challenging when newcomers might have different perceptions of rates. However, I assure you, I'm not entering the industry with the expectation that $500 is substantial. I acknowledge the complexities and difficulties you've experienced,

I am in Orlando, FL, so where can I search this truck and trailer. I can reach and visit to anywhere in US. How can I learn the set up process. Please recommend me a way. Thank you

    Hot shot killed the auto hauling rates when you have guys used to making 200 bucks a day at a normal job they think when they make 500 bucks in a day that they made serious money but that’s before they deduct fuel, insurance and Truck payment/trailer payment and maintenance in my experience hot shot guys usually last a few years or until their trucks break down and they can’t fix it or get repoed because they constantly take loads for prices that don’t make sense they use trucking rates per mile when they should charge by the unit

  • @nathanurick8320
    @nathanurick8320 2 месяца назад +1

    I bet more trucks are wore out before they are payed for due to how many miles you have to put on one. These trucks are expensive and break downs can empty your bank account.

      He’s not, CDL is about weight, in a dully Ram with a 3 car trailer you not even get close to 26k Lbs, yes you can get a Ram with a 3 car trailer without a problem.
