    Also watch out for dispatchers that get a cut under the table for you to take lowball rates. And also dispatchers who have to many trucks, they will find just enough loads to make them money for the day and you are out of luck.

    • @boxtruckbros9935

      Yeah most definitely bruh. That’s why you gotta be sharp and do your own research on the box truck market, so you just not taking anything. Yeah that as well, if you ain’t always moving. You need a new dispatcher. It’s too much work to be sitting.

    Weekly rate?? Whaaaatt?? I’ve never heard of that!! Ohh my goodness noooo!!! That is so unethically wrong!! I charge 10% per load & I produce way more than what I’m charging to book loads for my Carriers!! It’s way more to it than just booking loads off the load boards!! My goodness the back office support behind the scenes goes on for 7 days a week, late night, early mornings!!

    My problem is finding out here the dispatchers are posting their services. I didn't think if indeed, that's a good nugget right there. Thing is, I can gross $2000-$2500 a week with amazon 5 days a week a total of 30 to 40 hours. That's all local, if I get a a dispatcher and driver further they gotta be paying more than what amazon can pay and I'm in my bed every night.

    • @boxtruckbros9935

    Big facts

  • @entremike
    @entremike 2 года назад +9

    Great video bro, one thing I believe you’re missing is the volume of new carriers, I’ve went through 4 different dispatchers myself . Honestly it’s all about the dispatchers work ethic, I believe 10% can only work if you’re moving every single day & most of these new carriers see most RUclipsr’s gross profits & think they can make that in 3 business days & not working the weekends. Also one thing a lot of dispatchers will do is overload themselves with carriers, so even if they’re a great dispatcher, they can’t handle that many carriers at one time. Only reason I agree with a dispatcher charging 10% is if they could magically let new carriers work with brokers without having their MC for atleast 30-90 days!

    • @boxtruckbros9935

      Im a dispatcher and I had one SB driver. I told him today, I'm no longer interested in working with him. I booked him $5300 in one week. He doesnt wanna drive OTR, he wants all local stuff for a 26 ft box truck. It's too much work working with drivers who dont wanna drive. Dispatching is a lot of work doing their back office work, filling out broker/carrier agreements, and I now see why people dont like working with box trucks. He told me he's good with making $3k a week, and I told him he needs a new dispatcher. It wont be me.

      Our plan is to broker/ dispatch for ourselves , not to be geedy but more so not to be cheated. It seems that they are taking a big chuck out the pay. Example shipper offers 4,500k for a trip going to TX coming from TN. After the dispatcher reach out to the broker to set up the load that drops it down to the driver getting paid $1,500. Even though they could offer 2,500 , most likely will offer you the low end first to see if you bite...but look at it like this the broker takes 40% , the dispatcher take 20 % leaving you with 40 % of the cut and you are the one as the carrier doing the work. So you just paid two people to sit in their butts, while you be under cut.
