I love watching these while I've got stuff chillen in the kiln or just taking a break!! Always makes me want to go harder!! Thank you so much for sharing these Robert!!
I’m on the side of buying glass but it’s vids like these that make me itch to get into blowing glass. I know you make it look easy but this looks like a blast.
Sorry just read your comment and felt compelled to tell you, you should!! I started when the pandemic hit. Had a small kit chillen for a couple years I got from a buddy and decided what better time to get to work! I haven't looked back and haven't gone back to regular work either!! Highly recommend!! Literally put you in control of your life, your income! It's so freeing!! And if you make a home studio you can literally move anywhere and keep doing it!
The video is ok but could use some improvements. The music is awful. Too much bass and too elevator. Guitar, piano, piccolo, violin 🎻, anything but this. The brightness of the flame hitting the glass is just pure white light. I highly recommend a filter. In my videos I did the same move of preheating a 6mm rod thru a Mirage Flame 🔥 until it was warm both filtered and unfiltered and it’s definitely night & day difference. My filter is a flat glory hole window I plop in front of the selfie camera but eventually a clip on filter over the front camera would yield the best quality and focus.
Thank you for the thoughtful critique. I agree my video can be improved and I am working on that. The music is a matter of taste. I do use a didymium filter and iris down to try to get to the hot glass, but am still working to find the correct balance for every situation.
@@RAMickelsen it always makes me laugh when people complain about the music on a video with no narration, like mute that ish and put on whatever you like lol. Loved the video btw
