  • Why buy an SUV when a cool wagon like the Volvo V90 Cross Country will do the job and some. Its long, sleek, luxurious and capable at most you can throw at it. Available as a T5 or T6.

Iv'e owned a Outback 2016, now a own a Volvo S90 but will probably go for the V90cc. You get what you pay for. Yes, the Outback is robust and an excellent car in many ways. But believe it or not, the Volvo is on a totally different level. It is superiour in comfort, technic, driving and handling, materials, styling and more.

Visited this video only because of love to this car, but I founded a good review of V90. Man, it is Cool! So, the name of the video: it is known, that there is much more SUVs than normal wagons, because of popularity of first. But why do people prefer to buy a big cool car, that is small inside, instead of this: it's more stunning and have more space inside. It's a pity, that we can lose wagons because of ideas of marketing. Volvo, Subaru only have that cool models, that can show their good features on the muddy road and if you need to carry something big

Great video, well presented, but could do with a little more in-depth detail into the handling, and overall performance, I love this wagon (Estate in the UK) look so elegant, yet manages to look so mean at the same time ! great designing well done Volvo.
As far as the running costs are concerned, well, my way of thinking about this is, if you can afford to buy one in the first place, you are not going to worry about the fuel usage too much !! and don't forget when this wagon has done 25,000 miles or so, only then will you get a true mpg figure, because these Volvo engines are made to extremely high tolerances, so acceleration figures and mpg figures will be lower during the " Loosening up period"

Station wagons are easier when loading and unloading cargo boxes on the roof - a lot lower to the ground.

tip for the auto-review journalists: INSIST on reviewing a model with that trailer hitch included. It seems like a dumb thing but it's JUST SO COOL and no other car has anything like it. Likewise the built-in booster seats in the rear.

The best looking wagon, but almost 3 times the price of an outback is beyond belief. I guess that’s the price of luxury

I know the outback fully loaded is 40k and I also know the v90 cross country can be 80k fully loaded . But never mind it is out of reach for me anyways, if money wasn’t a problem I would definitely buy it

jflorespsp it's because of all of the electronics on the car. The steel of the frame and the safety features. I only say that because I work at a Volvo plant.

I had a Volvo dealer in San Antonio, TX tell me a lot of his customers use the mid grade gasoline in this vehicle and it runs fine. Might be just a sales pitch, but maybe not. Anyway, something to consider.......

Worth adding here is that these new Volvos have ridiculously many safety features, both active and passive, that nobody mentions or know about. Believe me, they aren't messing around about the zero lethal accident's by 2020!

@@remyhorsdage8045 The TourX is only rated at 1,000 lbs towing capacity in the U.S. while it tows about 3,500 with tweaker brake in Europe.

Non factor, there was no interest in the TourX which was clearly a rip off of a V60CC, and it was dropped by Buick.
