I'm glad you pointed it out but, I like how altruistic the humans are in this show too. In a world where demons actually exist, I expect the general populous to be a little bit less inherently evil.
its just that kingdom...other kingdom isn't like them...the people on their kingdom is close to each other since they are in the frontline against the demons...anytime they may die if the demons attack so they are more or less sympathetic to others
