But why substitute an egg with coconut oil ?? Just curious to know. You can add yogurt instead of coconut oil.. just in case you want to substitute that one egg.
Hey there. Instead of 1/2 cup and 2 tsp extra , why don't you add 7 tbsp of cocoa powder instead ? and add 1 tbsp of cornflour so that it holds the structure of the brownie. Do not increase the all purpose flour though. I can't wait for you to get back on how this worked for you :)

Hey. Non stick cake tin is no problem. I've made this in a non stick sheet cake pan and it came out the same. You'd get the shiny top for sure, but you'd have to make sure 1. You beat the sugar mixture really well and also whip the egg well to make it glossy 2.that you take it out at the right time to tap it . Just when a small thin film forms on the top , you should take it out to tap. Make sure not to bake it at a high temperature too. Also, if you do not want to be bothered about taking the brownie out to tap, then you can follow this recipe ruclips.net/video/5AgruwxLENk/видео.html . This has chocolate in it, which would ensure you get the shiny crinkle top.
@@annaann7135 This is how a cousin of mine has made it on stove top - it takes practice and you should know that each stove is also different and so is the thickness of the vessel you are using. 1. Hello. I suggest taking it out after 7 mins.. but initial 10 mins keep an eye on your brownie. Because of the difference in oven temperature, the film on top can be formed before 7 mins or after 7 . So wait until a very thin layer of batter cooks on the top layer. Then take it out and tap on the surface or gently use a spoon. Then pop it back into the oven.

This recipe didn’t turn out as I expected.. When I added the butter (unsalted since I didn’t have salted one) and sugar together, it turned out as a mixture of a loli.. (and it was on medium heat) I let it cool down and be warm not hot and it became solid as a rock, please let me know what did I do wrong. ❤
Hey. I think your sugar clumped up. That's alright. Even when you make caramel, sugar do clump and then slowly start to dissolve. Please make sure you do this on the lowest flame and give it time if you find it clumping. Honestly I havent faced this issue, I've made this brownie so many times already. If you are scared to use granulated sugar again, try powdered sugar of the same quantity.. this will definitely ensure there are no lumps and it will not clump together. Do not let the mixture cool down too much. If you can see, when I beat in the mixer, steam still comes out of it . The mixture shouldnt be too hot, nor just warm. I'm sorry this recipe did not work out for you, but I do hope you give this a try again. You can always reach me on my instagram for quicker reply or quick chat to clear any doubt. Thank you
@@fatimaansari5808 That's alright. The sugar didn't melt all the way through and that is why it was grainy. @@HoneyImHome I was in a rush so I forgot the vanilla (also these are all my fault the recipe is amazing this is just my first time making brownies too ) I also think there was something wrong with the flour.. not sure if it’s expired 💀
@@plqner Here's hoping the next time you try this recipe it comes out well
This recipe didn’t turn out as I expected..
When I added the butter (unsalted since I didn’t have salted one) and sugar together, it turned out as a mixture of a loli.. (and it was on medium heat)
I let it cool down and be warm not hot and it became solid as a rock, please let me know what did I do wrong. ❤
Thank you
@@HoneyImHome thank you so much for helping me I really appreciate it❤️❤️
it looks so good, good job
Thank you so much! 😊
Hi how much cocoa powder in grams ??
Hello. You can use 65 grams of Cocoa powder .
What size is the mold?
6 inch square tin
Why aren't you using baking powder.?
It would have made the brownie cakier, which I wanted to avoid. This recipe works well without baking powder.
My butter and sugar mixture is getting crumbled and so hard??
I added more butter then ut becomes slighty soft but not look same as shown in the recipe
@@fatimaansari5808 That's alright. The sugar didn't melt all the way through and that is why it was grainy. The next step was to blend it in the mixer while it is still warm so that you get a glossy paste. Please do not add more butter or sugar or flour. Exact recipe would give you the final result. I hope you give this recipe a try again
@@HoneyImHome yeah sure. Thnks❤

Hey Barbara, You will need 1/2 a cup of flour. You can find the list of ingredients used in the description box. Happy baking
What's the tin size ?
Its 6 x 6 inch
Guys, my moms a professional baker and she told me, if u do it this way, the eggs might get cooked and you would get lumpy scrambled eggs in ur brownies
Hey Caitlyn. Thank you so much for watching the video and leaving in a comment. This is a tried and tested recipe by not just me but so many others. It's worked out perfectly for all of us.
Please do give it a try if you can and let me know if it works out for you

You dont get the crackly top @7 mins
Temperature of the oven varies. Keep and eye and when you see a layer forming in 7 minutes or within 10 minutes, you can take it out and tap. I hope you liked the taste though and you get to give this recipe a try again.
Thanks a Lot ❤️🤗👏🏻
You're welcome 😊 I hope you get to try it soon enough !
@@HoneyImHome I want to make it really. Because I was looking for a recipe without use bar chocolate (I have only cocoa podwer). When I make they brownies, I Will comment here again 🤗❤️
@@DiarioJagiya123 I can't wait for you to try it. Hope this works out for you too
Tried making this ( again I will state that I TRIED ) forgot the vanilla and didn’t turn out well and I’m sure it’s the flour and that it’s expired, dad said it has 2 month left , I swear we’ve had it for over a year , I was in a hurry since it was about 1 am too , hated the experience, but everyone has been complimenting it , so I had no right to talk with my expired ass flour 🤭
Heeey, thank you so much for trying the recipe. I'm so sorry it did not work out for you though. Before you try it again, could you please elaborate as to which step went wrong ? Let's figure that out before we blame the poor flour which still had some life in it 😅.
Looks delicious😋 parcel me some❤️
Hahaha. Parceling some love for now
@@HoneyImHome tht will do
At 140deg felt like underbaked
They’re not bad but not great. Almost comes out as a chocolate bar.
Dear Melonie. I'm sorry it didn't turn out the way you like. When you mentioned- chocolate bar, did it come out hard or was it too chocolatey for you ?
I do have another recipe using melted chocolate as well . ruclips.net/video/5AgruwxLENk/видео.html Here is the link if you'd like to give it a try. But it does take a lot like fudgy chocolate as well.
@@HoneyImHome hard :-/
@@HoneyImHome thank you, I’ll try this recipe:)
@@melonienoel9692 Oh no. It's not supposed to come out hard at all. Should have something to do with the temperature in that case. Decrease the temperature and also cooking time. I'm sure it'll come out better.
@@HoneyImHome will definitely give that a go :) thank you
