That dress extension turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I wouldn't have thought to mix prints like that, but the fabric you picked really makes the corresponding colors pop in the original dress! I feel like it really elevates the proportions of the dress as well. Brava!!!

Thank you so much! :) I probably wouldn't have thought of it either if I didn't just happen to have that fabric in my craft stash! :) ha ha! Glad you enjoyed the project!

That dress is so cute now. I did this same thing last week. It's such a good thing to do.

If you have more gingham, I think some binding on the neck and sleeves would look lovely too. Or sleeve cuffs and pockets ( because we all need pockets).
The cherry tee with the skirt was so cute!

I would honestly pay big bucks for that green dress with the black and white trim!

LOVE the skirt & dress. I was thinking that you might could make a gingham "flower" to pin up around your neck area. I just found your channel & I'm not sure how you feel about pins, brooches, & flowers, though. Just thought it would bring the gingham pattern the rest of the way up the dress. Really enjoyed this video, subscribed & looking forward to whatever else you craft. Thank you for sharing. 😃🥰
