I had to google for what a moo moo (muu muu) dress is, and it is a comfortable Hawaiian dress for pregnant woman. How fascinating! In India all mothers have a dozen "nighties". (Nighty). My mum has atleast 30 pure cotton/linen with Indian hand block prints, batik and/or Shibori design.
I got all excited when I saw you play with your scarves. I ran upstairs and wrapped them around my neck totally forgetting my face is round. I looked like a fancy Tootsie Roll Pop. I have to use them to create a v neck. But it was fun to try!

Omg you just gave me tons of ideas on how to hide my curves in a fun way I have several pieces of clothes similar to yours and I never wear them but now I think I’m going to play dress up and try different styles to see what works for me thank you
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's always a good time to play dress up with your clothes. Act like you've never seen them before and that you're someone else in order to get out of any ruts you might be in. 😄
That weird brown dress - cut off those sleeves and it would be a lovely brown slip dress. It was a pretty color for you and the main dress looked nice. Then just use those sleeves as leg warmers or boot cut socks in the winter! That black sequined cocktail dress was gorgeous. Can’t believe it was only $12. I love your artsy, fun style. I don’t think I could do most of the outfits you do - it’s harder on a larger plus size body like mine. But while I’m trying to go for more classic and timeless pieces I like being inspired with still adding some artsy and fun pieces. My problem in the past has been TOO many artsy funky things so I ended up looking either like a child or like a clown or like I was older and trying to dress younger. Trying to maybe just do some funky scarves or a fun kimono over more plain items so I can have core pieces and have fun with accessorizing.
Loved how some pretty bland looking items turned into fabulous outfits - and as always it's the accessories that make that happen. I can't believe how expensive your thrift stores are though! In the UK our charity shops are probably around the same level, but I am fortunate to have tapped into several charity clearance shops near me where everything is £1!! As you can imagine, at that price, there are tons of unusual things that come home with me to try - because you get a pound's worth of fun just trying them on, so if they're a miss rather than a hit, I can happily donate them back, having had my money's worth anyway 😀
@@unblahyourself I just love that you don’t go for the simple choices! But I’d love to see you try that suggestion. Maybe one day you’ll do a video with just comment suggestions 😅
Polka pants w/black duster & scarf, BUT WITH BIKER BOOTS! Remove sweater sleeves from slip dress & wear the arm warmers over a black snug top, then make an outfit around that (can be leg warmers too). Love your style, appreciate hearing the thought processes, you’d be fun to shop with, so happy that you use thrift clothes! (PS - say rooshing)
I like the belts! Your new haircut is very pretty. Wear the black dress to the Club! I want the sequin dress! The red blouse is not your best color red.
Ha! There's a lot to tackle here! I ON PURPOSE didn't bring out my trusty wide black belt. 😆 Thank you, I am starting to figure out how to style this bob! "The club" is a place I do not go. Lol! The sequin dress was so pretty! I know that red is not good because every time I put it on, I look red. That can't be good. I do like the blouse itself and the cut of it so I've been keeping it around but yeah I should probably replace it.
I finally liked the polka dot pants on the 2nd to last try with the polka dot shirt. (By the time im watching its probably long gone to the thrift store!).
Wait, this is 3 questions and a tip! 😄 I don't dry clean anything. Everything gets washed, but if it's delicate like the sequin dress it will get dunked in a sink of warm soapy water, then rinsed and hung to dry. As for that shoulder pad tip, if you stuffed your bra with these giant shoulder pads, you would have very strange and angular bazongas!
That was fun! Love how you try lots of different options. I think the snug skirt with the large bottom flair is maybe 1940s style. The copper color dress with the bare shoulder knit sleeves would maybe look good with a wrap loosely around the shoulders. The dress part was rather nice.
I so want to see you wrap a scarf around your hips! I love them like that. I know you love your neutral pumps and they must be comfy but I don’t think they fit you well or something. But you do you. It’s your channel 😄. I love that brown sweater sleeve dress and polka dot pants so go figure. You have the body to pull off anything.
The poka dot pants just needed more minimal shoes like a sandal or ballet flat. With the big boots it did look cartoonish but I think would balance out more with a more defined shoe
For the vintage black and white nightmare dress tighten up the arms and the dress will be more in balance. I absolutely love it and so glad you loved it by the end, cause I was about to get you to mail it to meeee ❤

Thrifts with shoulder pads...why not just take them out? They are usually just tacked in at three points. Actually, now in 2024, it's getting hard to find those old dresses from the '80s!

Yes! Cut the sleeves off. I love it
"Pants you feel you could save the world in!". I love your one liners! And your thrifting!!
😘
the vintage dress is pretty cute
I didn't think I could ever like it but without the shoulder pads it was actually great! Weird how that one thing was changing the shape so much.
You have a very European clothing style/aesthetic for a Southern Californian woman. And jumper is right! :)
Thank you! I do think so too! Haha "jumper" only makes me think of jumper cables.
Fun video!
Thank you!!
Polka dot pants needed a stripe Breton in the same colors & RED ballet flats
For me, who loves polkadots, the shorter polkadotted jacket paired with those pants was a winner.
I agree. I think that was the best look for those pants.
This was so fun! I’m surprised you ended up styling the silk ‘nightmare’ without a belt!

Cut the sleaves off a brown Zara dress. Color is made for you.
I was thinking the same! The colour makes her glow and the sleeves can be used for another outfit or a DIY.
Yes! Brown is always my color. It sounds so boring but it really is a winner for me. Those sleeves need to go!

Thank you! I definitely have a scissor addiction so I'm glad I'm pulling it off!
I loved and would wear the polka dot pants in every iteration. It’s just a personal style difference
I loved the brown dress with the weird sleeves on you. I expected you to cut the sleeves off and put an interesting scarf or jacket over the top.
I think I have to be in a cutting mood! 😁
I a very happy you thrift
A fringed black vintage St. John’s blazer would pull the vintage nightmare dress together very nicely.
Lol “Rich lady look” I look forward to each video. Also, your hair inspired me to cut 7 inches off mine. 😀
That's awesome!
I finally liked the polka dot pants on the 2nd to last try with the polka dot shirt. (By the time im watching its probably long gone to the thrift store!).
I would wear all of the options you came out with for #15. LOVE
The brown dress has a great neckline, looks great on you, I would just remove those sleeves with a seam picker. The other finds were fantastic!
Love your videos!! I'm getting great ideas on how to style things differently!👏😊🩷
I'm so glad!😘
Number 12 makes me think of something you would wear to Star Wars land at Disney
13' PONCHO cover up over velvet pants. love this. The navy mono color is wonderful softness in a breeze, DOT PANTS are done, return,
The weird dress...I would try it with a vest or gilet.
QUESTION: Do you dry clean your thrift clothes? Or, hand wash? Or washing machine? You can stuff a bra with the old shoulder pads 😆
Wait, this is 3 questions and a tip! 😄 I don't dry clean anything. …even the brown dot sweater with the brown dress.

How about that vintage wrap with the brown dress?
That was fun! Love how you try lots of different options. I think the snug skirt with the large bottom flair is maybe 1940s style. The copper color dress with the bare shoulder knit sleeves would maybe look good with a wrap loosely around the shoulders. The dress part was rather nice.
I don’t know if I am brave enough to say it, but I love your nightmare silk shoulder pad dress. Just love it.
I also was screaming “black belt” in my head. Love the dress.
The polka dot pants are cool! The black tights are what ruins the polka dot pants. No socks, maybe try
Your red shoes.
Oh I know. I was too lazy to take the tights off. Look how lazy I was.... I literally said that I wanted you to just ignore them. Haha!
Polka dot pants and plum pants would both be happier going back into the wild.
Soft pants! Yeeessss.
As they say, the suede patch makes the woman!
