I actually liked the black dress with the decorative detailing and matching scarf. I agree that it is too 'old' for you, but I can imagine a stylish confident woman wearing this to an art gallery exhibition opening ❤
Just discovered your channel yesterday. You are so interesting and kooky. I absolutely love your creativity and you have inspired me to try to style items in totally unexpected ways. How fun!! I actually have one of those silk wrap skirts and am going to try out your ideas. Think I am going to have to binge on your vids!
I think the black dress is beautiful and classy. Of course, I am an older woman. But I totally disagree that it is only for older women. It looked amazing on you and would be perfect for an art gallery opening.
I have several of those “Indian wrap skirts”! Love them! They are very versatile! I wear them many different ways. Layered is fun too! Darn Good Yarn sells them as a subscription.
Some wild and crazy stuff you got there, but you made them work. I was actually surprised by how much I liked some of them. The skirt with all the fabric was everything.
Lots of fun. Once more, you've expanded my thinking about how to wear clothes. I love fabric too and would be content to drape my body in luxurious fibers. Over the last 40 years, I've collected hundreds of scarves. Now that I'm in retirement, I am so excited about styling these items at least once before I give them away.
YES! I think that it's fun to give clothes one more chance before they go out the door. Think differently about it and see what you can do. Super fun. And on the topic of nice fabric and scarves.... don't even get me started!! I want to swish through this life swathed in glorious fabrics! ❤❤❤
The silver outfit was hilarious! In the black outfit, which! I found beautiful, you looked like you stepped out of an Erte illustration. Loved the double silk skirt especially with the distressed jeans vest. Love your playfulness and sense of style!
..."this whole croppy look" 😅 the body language re: the '70's pants was so cute! I had to re-watch 😁 as always. you're an inspiration full of creativity and fun!!! Thank you, Diana😘
Re the chicken ruffly blouse with the black jacket - are you familiar with Prince Charming by Adam and the Ants? Definite New Romantic vibes there! And you rock it!
@19:57. I get definite Art Deco/Phryne Fisher vibes, love the strange sleeves and lovely embellishment. (Of course, I get Art Deco/Phryne Fisher vibes as often as possible) I would wear the scarf as a wrap draped over arms and draped in the back. Definitely a lower “modesty neckline.” 😊Embrace it and Work it!
Choir director /Black -modesty dress @ 18:53 = That dress is reminiscent of Gulf countries women & the scarf is to cover the hair. I would just cut off that extra fabric /panel that covers the chest area -which bothered her. From there I can (1) wear it as a lounge dress at home (2) shorten to knees & wear it outside, (3) shorten more & wear it like a tunic.
With the long ruffle white blouse, l turn it into a crop top and cut the sleeves short! I can't wear sleeves if it's a blouse! Sleeves bug me! I like the buttons and color! U styled it cute!😊
What a fun video! May I suggest the long black slacks with that crazy ruffled blouse, (it's very pretty), and chunky red bracelets. Or for a cold day put a thin jersey long sleeved t-shirt or turtleneck under the blouse to disappear that 3/4 sleeve. Honestly, in L.A. I think you could pull off that crazy tassle skirt as a scarf (the very last look with that item) over a black tank or strapless. Years ago I visited Santa Monica, and stopped into the cutest Salsa dance club. That would be the place to wear it. (If it survived the pandemic) :( Thanks for your wonderful style ideas.
The ruffled blouse? 1980's New Romantic! (Adam Ant). I would wear that complete with warpaint! The choir lady outfit - think 1930's older woman - if you want to go Marx brothers think Margaret Dumont. If you want to go later think later think Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard. I don't think there's any redeeming that silver thing, though. No matter how it was styled it looked like the worst aspects of the 80's kind of threw up on you - and if it looked like that on you (a woman with tremendous style and presence) even creatively styled I shudder to think of what it would look like on some of us lesser mortals.
Preschool Girls dress the best! 😂I love seeing them with their daddy’s at grocery stores and such.
The boldness of a preschool aged girl! I LOVE it.
I've decided I'm gonna slice up my jeans jacket in the back, loveee that look... Wish me luck, I might end up crying...... 😅😂
Lololol good luck!
This was huge fun. Thank you for reminding us to have fun with our outfits.
Ruffle shirt needs some Adam Ant styling 😂
All I could hear was "Stand and Deliver" when she broke that one out.
I love the characters you create when you dress up. How about a short movie with you as all the weird characters! That would be so much fun!
If only I could act!😂
I like how silly you are with the items you find 😉😂😂
Silliness is mandatory! 😂
Clever with making a little black dress from black t shirt. Very innovative

Thanks for the creative adventure Diana ❤
You are welcome! Glad it was fun!
Everything looks good on you, this video proves it!

Okay, that was fun and educational. I think I’ll hip my 7 year old little fashionista granddaughter to your channel so she can learn too.

Yay! Thank you!
I can just see you at a gallery in that ruffled blouse. You’d be fluffing and playing with those ruffles the whole time!😁
This is the funnest channel ever
Aw thank you! 😊

Yes! Cool!
18:57 that is a abaya with matching hijab lol
And it’s beautiful
Oh my gosh thanks for clarifying this! I love it!
It’s lovely.
I love your sense of joy, creatively and wonderment in putting together outfits.
Drop dead stunner in that dark tank/skirt combo 🥇 😍

So much fun!
I agree with a previous comment; that black “dress” and scarf appears to be a fancy abaya from Muslim culture
I love the wrap skirt as a dress!
@2:57. Paul Revere and The Raiders: Mark Lindsey circa 1965!
Always love your videos
Thank you!! ❤😊❤
Robes are my favorite clothing ever invented!😄
This comment and your name have been making me laugh for days now. I am so tickled that you found this video. I love robes so much!! 😆
Like the fluffy shirt, the last version.
The silver outfit… chaps and shirt 😂😂😂
Love love creativity
This was a favorite vid! I am amazed at what you did with the turquoise Indian Skirt! The black necklace makes the yellow fringe top awesome.
Thanks Teresa! I was also surprised about the skirt/dress! I like to just start wrapping things around sometimes. Most don't turn out that well!
😄 You're fun! Thanks

You hair looks awesome on you. Great job!! Your videos are so fun. Thankyou🥰
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you're here! Didn't see this comment for a while because it went to some separate folder. Sorry for the delay! ❤
Love ya Diana!
😘
Ok I have a couple of vintage silk robes and I’m so interested in seeing if I can make them do the bustle thing.
You really are funny , in the very best way.😊
Thank you! 🥰
You crack me up so much but I keep talking to my screen! I wish you could hear me!! Lolol you think you’re funny and you totally are!
😁

Thank you! Good ideas!
I love ruffles. I liked the neon fringy thing best as a scarf. I liked the wild print dress, but not snug fit.
Wouldn't you be more 80s than 70s?
Born in the 70s, raised in the 80s!
@@unblahyourself Probably born around 1977?
Exactly 1977!
No black dress (!) I have about ten lol
Ein Joker wird ihn Höhe des Larynx getragen
I really do wonder how big ruffle blouse was worn back in its hay days
I don't think it was very versatile! 😅
Not liking the second try… with black and white robe
The modest outfit is designed for Muslim women and the scarf is to cover the hair.
Pensé que tenías unos 38 años 😮

I'm glad you had fun with this! I actually ended up giving the silver items to a stage performer I know and I see him wearing it all the time!
Das mit dem Kimono passt nicht😢
Sorry, but not a fan of hi water pants! Not liking anything on first try.
