This is the first of your videos I've seen, I'll be back for more! Those advent boxes, I can't believe they gave them to you for $1 each, what a score full or not! And that Lucky Brand sweater is beautiful. I would also love to know a little about how you do your budget/accounting - not the nitty gritty details, but things like what type of budget you have for restocking, how you track what you spend on each item when you buy all that for one lump price, when you discount items, when you decide to give up on an item, etc..
One of the things I never hear resellers talk about is how they do their accounting. Might be fun to even get Jay inolved in the Q & A for an accounting segment. I would really like to know, for someone who does this FT and has no other source of income (not married/no partner) to help pay bills. What is the percentage of how much you should reinvest back into inventory each month, what percentage should you put into savings each month, what percentage should you keep for yourself to pay bills and what percentage do you put toward overhead (office supplies, employees, etc). And is it recommended to have a seperate business account so you can track everything. Do you give yourself a budget each month to shop? These are the things I struggle with. Oh and taxes! I know it's about 12% so that is another thing we have to put money away for each month. Thanks Lori!
I’m so surprised you were not familiar with Molton Brown. Especially with your recent travel to London!! Definitely one of my favorite brands and I’m super jealous I did not find this.
$1 for a Molton Brown advent calendar is a score! It’s super posh, expensive brand here in the UK, but all their products smell amaaaazing. Vibes to Angie for quick healing 🤞
Great find on the Molton Brown👍🏼 My mother in law and sister in law loves their body wash and candles, very expensive. I would’ve kept the boxes for myself, so cute!!
I'm with you on the liquidation / clear out. I'm doing mine through a yard sale and getting rid of stuff that's been sitting around at cost. With sales being so slow the inventory has accumulated too quickly and I just want it gone!
Love that lucky vtg sweater! Some of the vintage lucky can go for a lot. Especially the vintage sweats with embroidered details. I hope Angie heals quickly!!! ❤
Hi Lori - Molton Brown is a very popular brand here in England. Their hand soaps and hand lotions are the 'posh' kind that you put in your downstairs loo when you have guests over 😂. I love their perfumes (which sell for around £100 a bottle) and the bath and shower stuff. They do minis (which I think will be the kind of thing that will be in some of those drawers) and which you sometimes get in nice hotels here. Excellent find xxx
Oh Lumpy. I was interested in the Kate Spade charm. My daughter’s bunny got loose and in one chomp he bit the strap off my favorite leather shoes. I couldn’t get too angry he was so cute.
The laundry sheets cut down on household waste, also I have a small laundry cupboard so I try to buy things in compact sizes when possible. I haven't tried them yet but I think I just might indulge.
Molton brown is amazing, I used to treat myself to beautiful creams, body wash and hand soaps, mostly for close to $30 each and they also do packages of a few small 2 oz for gifts and travel. Great score & delicious scents!
Lori hi!!❤❤Take that advent calender to your new digs and fill it up with your goodies there when you're chillin. I can't wait till Christmas or afterwards when I see the Christmas thriftmas !!! Adore you 💓 💗 💛
I love that location. The bins + retail store next door is always a big haul day for me. I only get there once a month because I’m in Rhode Island but it’s always a good day. Boston so much better than ri for high value finds.
I recently found a New Yorker bag like yours at the bins in Gorham, Maine and it sold on eBay for $24.95. Mine was not in a box like yours is, but it was NWOT.
At least you are up North at the bins. I'm in South Fla and on a recent trip to the bins near me I picked up an art pottery pitcher. So excited to find it! As I examined it and was walking back to my cart , I glanced inside. I saw orange and black at bottom. I thought looks like a rubber snake, so I shook pitcher a little. It started to wriggle! It was a REAL snake.!!! I freaked out ( of course) and a kind male employee took the pitcher outside and released it. It turned out to be a non poisonous corn snake but still!!! I left afterwards. I think I will need to regain my courage before I go bins digging again.
I totally agree I can't dig in there well cause I use a wheelchair. As well, they help me too! I love those guys they are the best!! Orlando bins in Pinehills!!! I can't go during the season because I'm sharing a car ( hubby works Xmas season with car) so I'm binginnin on your channel!
Love the Glasshouse advent calendar! Hope Angie's ankle heals fast‼️ Lumpy has good taste, Kate Spade! A friend's parrot chewed a couple of her Coach bags!😬
I was so excited when i heard you say Molton Brown. I fell in love with some of their scents when i stayed at a hotel in Buffalo. I realized how expensive they were when i tried to buy them!
I haven't braved the Boston bins yet. Today I went to the Hyde Park Goodwill (that you recommended) for the 1st time and did pretty well there. It's a bit more of a drive for me but it was worth it. Next time I want to get there earlier and go to the JP one as well. I have to leave before 3 or get stuck in tons of traffic, as you mentioned! You got some incredible pieces. Loved the advent calendars. How is your friend Kim? I hope she's okay and just spending time on the Cape. Miss seeing her in the videos!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely love the advent calendars! I follow a RUclipsr who opens advent calendars almost year round & it’s so much fun to watch! She is the only reason I know of Molten Brown. Great scores! Edit- I hope Angie heals quickly! Poor girl! She’s too busy to have to be down! 🙏
Whenever my pup chewed on and ruined something I reminded myself to be thankful that it wasn't something that could hurt him. We love our pups dearly and things can be easily replaced. BTW Lori, that blue blouse at the beginning looked wonderful on you: you positively glowed!!!
I was just thinking you haven’t been there for a while 👏moulton brown is lovely I use the bubble bath ! We have shops over here ! (Uk) I havnt heard of glass house but agree the box is gorgeous !
I really want a video where you look at a haul you did in the past and do all the calculate (how much you sold it for, how much fees/ spend/ profit/ if anything never sold ) from then to now
Love your videos Lori. I’ve only been a part time reseller for 2 years but have become so much more selective and have found that the number of items is much less important than the quality. I keep around 300-350 items and have made about $17k net this year. Inventory takes up so much less space and it requires much less work to photograph and ship. Good luck with the liquidation!
Just signed up for Earthbreeze with your link, Lori. I got diagnosed with Lupus a few weeks ago and I took a different outlook on life including the little things that make up my day to day life like detergent, I began thinking how harmful it is to our planet to continue to contribute to adding toxic plastic into it. Thank you for your discount and link :)
I am pretty sure shoes are $3.50 and coats at $3. Still some great pickups. I hate to buy light items at the Boston bins bc I k ow how cheap they would be in NH, but sometimes you make out.
I always wash items from the bins too. I once bought some items from a well known utuber reseller and the items smelled just like the bins & it was a real turn off 😮
😂😂😂 No. Look at the amount of stuff there. It would be waste of money and resources for them. People donating their dirty stuff are nasty 🤢 even stuff going to fabric recycling bin is washed by me, same as donations.

@lorisbostonfound I am interested in the green white and gold rugby pullover - if it's not gone, could I buy that from you?

It probably varies between each state.
Best to talk to a CPA in your state
Those advent boxes are so beautiful!! I've never seen advent calendars anywhere near that callibre!

Yep... Currently waiting for the college kids ie T-shirt guys to go back to school before I hit the bins again. They are hard core😂
So glad you’re back to the old style of content- straight to the point and reselling!! ♥️♥️

I recently thrifted Bellerose for the first time. Beautiful floral maxi dress,
Flipped quickly and sold on offer for $60. Love discovering new labels.

I love the red one too!!! So cute, I would keep it too! Nice finds!

The Charleston sweatshirt is really nice. Nice haul.
Hi Lori! I'm late to the party with your channel. But, I'm really glad I found it as I'm enjoying your commentary tremendously!

@LorisBostonFound yes..always. But that was a first I will never forget!! Lol 😂
@@gothrift5728 I lived in south FL too. So typical in the big thrift stores!

Hello there! I’ve been frequenting your videos lately 😊 I had no clue there were bins in Boston btw. I’ve been to NH and it’s very cut throat lol
That color looks so good on you!
Buck mason is a great mens brand with almost a 100 percent sell thru rate

I loved the New York bag.
Enjoyed the video as always, Lumpy knew he was in trouble but you can’t stay mad at that gorgeous face xxx Hope Angie is ok
I wonder if there's a market for single shoes... either to replace ones that people damage, or for people who only have one foot?
I have done the fast metabolism diet & was successful
Love the concept of ‘thrifting for style’! ❤ I’ve been snooty! 😂
“The chocolate is like wax Jay” 😂😂
It really is!!
I always wash items from the bins too. I once bought some items from a well known utuber reseller and the items smelled just like the bins & it was a real turn off 😮
I love Boston outlet. I was there just last Friday! Maybe someday I will see you there😀

Where is the best thrift shop in Boston? I am close to Foxboro but willing to drive!
May I asked what’s the address of goodwill bins? Thank you!
Hi 👋
Are the Doc Martens a size 8 women's or men's?
Does Goodwill launder the clothes before putting them out in the bins or stores?
😂😂😂
No. Look at the amount of stuff there. It would be waste of money and resources for them. People donating their dirty stuff are nasty 🤢 even stuff going to fabric recycling bin is washed by me, same as donations.
Then I would seriously recommend wearing gloves while shopping in bins.
What are tshirt guys?
Dudes looking for vintage tees
The younger resellers (usually young men) who shop the bins for vintage t-shirts 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
Will you do the Poshmark sell with discount too? May I have your Poshmark account?
What's a t-shirt guy?😅
Lori, you are looking really thin these days.
Unsubscribe...your prices are constantly so high smh it's ridiculous
❤❤❤
