    Recently got 2024 integra tech package with performance Red exterior.
    Great colour and very good tourer.
    Reaching like 42 mpg on highways

      I can absolutely agree with the decision to buy that, I think an integra is a fantastic daily and car IMO. If I had the budget would love to buy one as a secondary. (My first car was also an RSX, so Acura hatches have a special place in my heart) but hope there’s thousands of amazing miles ahead! Did you cross shop anything else with it?

    I bought a 21 Acura tlx base model. It has a premium system with 10 speaker system. It has adaptive cruise control that works great as well as the lane assistance. We love this car. Turbo 4cyl 10 speed transmission. Fast enough for me.😊

      I absolutely loved my time with it and my TL Type S when I still had it. I wish a TLX was in the cards when I was shopping for a new vehicle but insuring one under 25 YO was unreasonably expensive with a clean record, maybe another day. Did you get it at a good cost? Good mileage and how has the experience been so far??

      @@picatog I paid about market average on a 21 used with 30 k miles. Saved about 8 grand buying it that way. Good luck finding one as I had to drive 4 and a half hours to a bigger city to find one. Gas mileage is not great, but the car makes up for it with the driveability. Best car I've owned so far. Previous car was a Honda Accord exl.

      I’m a ways off of looking for one again, been driving an XC60 as insurance cost were half of a TLX. After paying off/crossing 25 might be looking into it

      I have the same year and trim. I added summer tires and it's a really fun car to drive. The FWD with the lowest curb weight is an underrated configuration for this car.

      It was absolutely beautiful and fantastic to drive and just daily. I’m now back in my 2008 TL Type S and I can really see how much of the design and feel carried over

      @@picatog how did you like the automatic transmission? And will you be reviewing the car again in the future?

    • @picatog
      @picatog  Год назад +1

      I will absolutely be trying to review more cars in the future or giving especially an update on the next car I buy (if the TL leaves or I switch) and o personally felt like the transmission was fantastic, shifts were smooth (I think it was talked about earlier models of the transmission were rough but it was software issues) shifts were quick and it could cope with all kinds of driving instead of seeming like it didn’t know if it should go up or down. And it was extremely good compared to a CVT

    How are the repair and maintenance? is it comparable to Honda?

    • @picatog
      @picatog  2 месяца назад +1

      Honestly expect slightly higher maintenance but not like loads more expensive. A lot of repairs Honda can do and they cross share a lot of parts so you can get Honda labor rates and parts and it’s the same/cheaper to do. But reasonable IMO

      I can check my notes later, but mostly just turbo wear, knock, weird shifting. Haven’t heard of many issues regarding the AWD or electrical issues. But haven’t heard of many issues in general away from turbo wear

    is there a gigantic crack on the windshield? what is that?

    • @picatog
      @picatog  6 месяцев назад

      That is 100% correct. This was a loaner vehicle from an Acura dealership while my Type S was down. No sure what caused but looking at the damage, previous driver probably took a rock from the Colorado highway to the windshield.

      @@duck8280 and you’re the definition of someone who’s financially illiterate. An investment is supposed to gain value over time, that’s why you invest. A car does not gain value as it puts on more mileage and is guaranteed to be replaced with a newer model.

      Idk I bought a new Type R, made some money, bought a new Integra Type S, gonna make some money.

    • @picatog
      @picatog  Год назад +4

      Sorry I didn’t get back to this comment sooner but cars can be a personal investment. Looking back at my last 6 years of TL ownership the amount of work and money it’s allowed me to make isn’t really an investment but the amount of personal growth, relationships it’s helped build and memories it’s creates a personal investment for development. Fiscally, unless it was exotics or other “appreciating” vehicles that are few are far between most vehicles aren’t an investment
