1. The 2021 TLX does not have "woodgrain" - it has wood. 2. You commented that the shifting was unexciting (9:00 to 9:30), but I didn't hear you discussing the effect of different modes specifically on shifting? That should be happening? Also in Individual mode settings you can tweak the shifting separately from other settings and create up to five custom modes with each function adjusted where you want it. You pointed out individual modes but ignored the obvious question of whether THAT would have addressed your complaint about shifting response. 3. The tighter-than-Accord rear passenger space AND trunk space are impinged on by a more sophisticated suspension. That is why! I rarely haul more than one passenger so I would choose the better suspension; if you often carry adult rear passengers, okay get the Accord.
I love the new TLX! Such a gorgeous vehicle. I have much interest in the upcoming Type S model. I really hope its 355 hp is enough to get the car's 0-60 time in the mid 4 second range. If the performance proves to be formidable, I will likely be buying one in a year or so. Paying off the house in '21. After that, the Type S will probably occupy a spot in my garage.

I hope when reviewing that reviewers remember the market target and stop comparing so much because Honda/ Acura products always date to be different based on Mr Honda philosophy of reliability, craftsmanship, engineering, technology, and fun to drive... which all other manufacturers have adapted, but Honda is still a leader in so many ways. Question? Would love to have a fast car but not reliable? Would you like to have a car that is reliable but not fun to drive? Would you like a car with latest technologies but not reliable? Would you like to have a car that has do much leather and interior options and fast but not reliable? That is the questions Honda/ Acura products is the answer.

Great review!!!🚗.
13:35 ;) love your videos greetings from Poland! :D
Another greetings from Poland!
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers Hey!! You sir, are everywhere lol
@@Kiss__Kiss Hello, sure, I'm a viewer 🙂
this guy does really good reviews....
I really hope Acura comes to India, such a beautiful machine and well rounded package.
Great review to get a feel of the car!
7:25 The size of the TLX is actually just about right as far as I am concerned. I like a premium, sporty car but don't need or want the extra practicality of something larger.
Check out the couple in the Subaru Outback . I think they recognized you.
Nice video. How does the shawd compare to the Subaru system?
My Legacy would kill it in the snow
@@cigarsgunsanddiesel8032 I have a 2019 Crosstrek so I think Subarus are the best .
So Driving Sports what is your take on this ?
I think the acura might give it a run for its money.
Thanks for the flashback about the 2011 episode. I remember how impressed I was with the job you and your team did. To be honest I kind of miss your collegues. What other tire would be a better choice than Michelin Primacy, maybe Conti DWS?
@BrokenFiddles purchased my 05 rl with primacy when those went I got the DWS they were nosier to me than the Michelin so I tried Perelli P7 and those tire are great tires I have right now in snow and rain and very quite
2:29 The trunk floor is definitely stamped for a spare tire well...not a battery.
How about the new Type S? Would you do one review for its handling in snow?
06:50 tl can drift like that? What about the tlx?
Exactly! He didn't comment or video anything on it performs.
So revolutionary, Acura innovation
as a TLX owner, its not just putting the dynamic mode into sport, but also on the gear selector into sport as well to get the optimal performance out of the vehicle.
When you say that, do you mean use the paddle shifters? Excuse my ignorance on the topic, I literally just bought my 23 TLX
Need it. Sold thanks to this man
Now Honda needs to implement their SH-AWD System to keep its customers continuing being loyal. I love my 2018 Accord Sport, but the SH-AWD would be real nice.
Yeah, i guess they just want awd sales going to Acura
Some newer Hondas have torque vectoring, which is a huge part of what makes the SH-AWD great.
Very nice review. Thanks.
This is probably a decent daily driver? In Canada the pricing of this car is fairly attractive.
It would be a great daily.
I thought Buick stopped building the Lacrosse.
Either way...great Production as always.
^^^^Lol!^^^
Great car & good review. I still can’t forget my 2.4 TSX. A 6’ 1” tall guy wound buy these car. They go for pickup trucks & SUV’s.
Where is the location of this video? Especially the mountains?
Planning to get a 2021 TLX - what tires do you recommend instead of the Michelins.
I will see if the dealership can give me credit for a different brand.
Can you review the IS 350 Fsport
They sent us a standard 2021 IS 300. That review will be up in a week. I’ll see if we can get the faster version soon.
@@drivingsports ok thank you
SHAWS is a great system. I do still love the mechanical Audi quattro system more though. The TLX-S will be a great option though. I had the 07 Type S and that car was fun but could have use the SHAWD.
Very informative car review and test drive.
I would like to see more detail for price including options.
You can see the exact sticker from our test car at www.drivingsports.com/test-vehicle-data/
You ever going to do the newly refreshed AUDI S4? I'm very interested.
Love the new look
The fact that you can’t get a panoramic for 50k and I have one in my 35k Camry is concerning. I’m gonna keep my Camry for a few more years and then I wanna get an Acura. Hopefully they’ll have stepped it up by then.
What kind of tires would you recommend for performance and noise control on this car
Excited to see the TLX Type S
I have a 2019 Volkswagen Arteon SE with 4MOTION AWD. I live in Oregon and we are supposed to have a La Niña winter. If we do get a snow storm, how well do you think Volkswagens 4MOTION will do?
hey, nice video. what tires would you recommend for a 2015 MDX???im due for a new set
thanks
Great content that’s right on point.
Thanks for your review. So many reviewers say how good it is including a surprise from savagegeese.
Total balance between all of those things is what Honda and Acura tend to get right a lot of the time. 👍
SH-Awd simply amazing in snow and ice
I would definitely go with this over a BMW or Audi. I like the styling, and it's likely to be better built and more reliable than a German car. As a disappointed Subaru Legacy owner (I have a 2007, and I dislike the post 4th gen Legacy designs), seems something else always comes along. The Ford Fusion Sport was nice. Hate that Ford killed the Mondeo/Fusion, but this is a nice AWD sedan!
Can you review and test the 2021 honda ridgeline? I want to know if there are any changes
Do you have any videos testing lexus gs 350 awd 13 and up?
