What a way to show the entire country how little class Matt Rhule and Nebraska has... what an embarrassment.... No handshake?? How did that work out for ya? 🤣😂
No game is called perfect but both of Iowa's first 2 scores were the direct result from blatant no calls from refs. First no call on a clear KCI, ref 10 yrds away with the perfect angle to see, and that because of the possession change was the whole play was under review. Which while quick you can see from the over view shot. On top of which the way those 2 players bodies reacted to each other is physically impossible without contact. Dead ball 15 yrd penalty from the spot of the foul. 2nd a no call hold on a CB and block in the back on a LB. This one less of a surprise the way the game was called.
At least you are a good sport about it. It's unbelievable how Nebraska has had a meltdown in 6 of the last 7 games. 2018-2021 were all meltdowns, then the Huskers won a game in 2022. But, we can't have that! It's s back to the old ways in 2023 and 2024! 😂
im a neutral but Nebraska got hosed, that punt recovery shouldve never been given, Nebraska clearly didnt touch it. Then the first FG wouldnt have happened.
Everyone focused on who touched the ball first but shouldn't matter. The real problem with that play was a no call on a clear KCI. A ref was 10yds away with a perfect angle to see it. As well the way those 2 players bodies reacted to each other is physically impossible without contact. And while it is quick you can see it from the over view camera shot. And since there was a change of possession this whole play was under review. No excuse not see and throw a flag retroactively. Dead ball 15 yrd penalty from the spot of the foul.
Gonna keep saying it the no call KCI that led to Iowa's first points is criminal. And the fact that all broadcasted replays didn't show it is really sus. They either show an angle where the tackle's body blocks the contact or the replay begins after the contact was made. Huh, weird... Don't believe me... look at the over view shot, slow it down as much as possible, increase quality as much possible, zoom in to where the tackle and returner cross paths, take note of the yellow stripe on the tackles uniform to gauge his leg position, now play and pause quickly. You can see the tackle not only make contact but while in mid air his body twists 90° and the angle of his jump changes which is physically impossible without contact. Then the returner's leg shoots back in an attempt to catch his balance making the catch impossible. Then look at the closest ref he is 10yds away with the perfect angle to see it. Not good, but no one is perfect. But since there is a change of possession this whole play is under review. No excuse.
