- Teddy is a male Tokay gecko I rescued awhile ago. I saw him sitting on a table at an expo severely emaciated and dehydrated. He was about to die and I couldn't leave him there. I wasn't sure I could save him but he had a strong will to live. It took a long time for him to gain weight and become healthy. He is one of the most beautiful Tokays I've ever seen. #lizard #tokay #tokaygecko #tame #gecko #geckogekko #friendly #reptile #reptiles
Wow i have never seen anyone hold Tokay without out it trying to bite or atleast have its mouth wide open.

He such a beautiful gecko and is also pretty calm for a tokay gecko too I usually see them trying to straight up murk their owner😂🤣

@@alanwiseman3235 Coax them on your hand with your other hand. Move slowly and be gentle.
@@TheReptileWhisperer when you say coax, do I push them from behind gently, while having my other hand in front of the?
@@alanwiseman3235 yes and try to slide your hand under them. Then lift your hand up and get ready for them to possibly jump off. If they try to jump, put your hand out to catch them.
