Surprisingly tame. Tokays have a bad reputation for being very....expressive.... I guess you just have to be patient with them or if they don't want to be handled give them their space.
to be honest you have to own this reptile. being patient would take forever. the sooner you can show them you r not going to hurt them the better. they r so many techniques. I prefer your method lol

@@TheMass33 his eyes are actually closed due to (a) sunny environment (b) he's not caring to walk or focus on anything. When their eyes open, that greenish eye you see open like a curtain to revel a black black retina (which you can see but a very thin part in the video).
I have a fear of gecko's i have one or more tokay gecko living in my house not in a cage. In my culture many people have said that if you hurt a tokay gecko it will jump right in to your face and will be there for a while

Make sur that a vet checks that eye out,apart from that your tokay gecko is beautiful and you did a great job taming him!
