There’s a new version of the Fein with Bosch AmpShare batteries. Also there is the Multimaster 700. The HILTI is about 3x the price.

Fein invented the multi tool. And to be honest, it’s pretty much down to the quality of the blades.

I think that the main difference is bigger oscillating angle / Hilti is 4° (cover a wider area of material in less time), Fein 500 is 2 x 1.7°; Fein 700 is 2 x 2,0° the rest is the battery platform we work on / Bosch AMPShare or Nuron
Both machines are the highest beautiful beasts of the highest quality. Regards

Wee tip changing starlock blades, use handle to unlock (blade pops out) close handle straight away, and just push new blade on, clicks into place 👍 works like that on Bosch Multi tool, try and see with other makes

Need to compare the Hilti/Flex to a 700/Supercut/Vecturo. Fein’s fault for doing 3 power classes for no good reason. My Hilti outperforms my corded Multimaster (now a “500”) and cordless Vecturo. I wouldn’t be surprised if an ampshare 700 could match up to it. The Fein models are certainly objectively built better.
