    Great tutorial, hopefully you'll bless us with more of your knowledge!
    By the way, Silverwing VFX found a way to make a realistic diffraction grating shader in Octane which has never been done before and he uploaded a tutorial two weeks ago on how to make a realistic CD Shader without faking the effect with film layer etc. He uses real physics to recreate the effect

      Thanks man! Method used by silverwing was my workflow posted on Octane Render group year ago! What a coincidence lol

    where is octane normal node? 'normal' I searched but doesn't show up my octane version 2023.1 R7

    • @NojsGraphics
      @NojsGraphics  9 месяцев назад

      Hello! There is few ways you can find it in Octane Node Editor:
      1. using search bar in left top corner of your node editor tab
      2. click "C" on grid in node editor and also search for "normal"
      3. on left side of node editor where you have all the nodes look for "Custom texture" in there you will find Normal as well.
