I don't agree with the list entirely but man, THANK GOD someone mainstream did a list like this. Wondy is one of those characters a lot of people like to talk about without ever picking up a comic with her.
It's that what you think, help with other comic book characters that get infravalorated like her too. Like the "Top 10 Hulk Comics You Should Read", please. The most of this lists, the better.

Yeah, that annoyed me too. They could have at least limit it to before and after an entry on the list.
I'm one of those guys, and it's because the characters are as good as their villains most of the time, and Batman has the best villains. Superman only has like 5 challengers, but he wins all the time. WW with her premise seems she could be all over the place, and her two most notible villains are Cheetah and Ares(one that seems strong but inconsistant like darkseid or brainiac and the other seemingly consistent but not up to par like if Superman actually had to attack Lex with actual strength). Mostly, it's that I don't see her point. I can say that for a lot of DC heroes also and that's not really a good thing..

I can't even make my way through this. It's so poorly edited with all these animated scenes thrown in for no reason. Talk about the actual stories.
Everyone hated the New 52...but the art is amazing, the writing is fantastic and The FirstBorn is one of her best villians...and then when she becomes the god of war...

She is a great character, beautiful and strong.
I also highly recommend Sensation Comics Feat. Wonder Woman, a series of digital first one-shots that were then collected into a 17 issue series, and the current Legends of Wonder Woman digital first series that retells her origins.

The New 52 Wonder Woman series,in my eyes,perfectly represented Wonder Woman and what Wonder Woman stands for.It was basically the perfect story made for her.

I don't know, but I bet these comments come from 11 years old kids that spend most of their day sitting in front of a computer when they are not in primary school.

It's fairly obvious why they say incest. They are hoping to start a new trend, like bragging about being early. I've seen it all before countless times. They probably just want to offend someone to get attention, so just ignore them. This trend will be replaced with a new one soon enough anyway.
For once I agree with the entire list. Perhaps in a future top 10 you can include The Legend of Wonder Woman

I actually prefer the idea of WW being the Daughter of Zeus, it feels much more logical about where she's gets her immense power. That and I adored Brian Azzerleo Wonder Woman. Although recently in Rebirth they're exploring more of her origins but I don't think they're gonna ret con it again.

I'm fine with either origin. In the end, all I care about is who Diana is as a PERSON. Where she comes from is entirely irrelevant.

My all time favorite WW comic (as well as my favorite comic of all time) is The Legend Of Wonder Woman.
I liked also the recent 'The legend of wonder woman', a fantastic and extensive origin series of Wonder Woman
You guys should do more of these with Justice League, Green Lantern, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America.

If only this came out after Greg Rucka’s latest Rebirth run with the character. It was just really amazing from her origin to her relationships with her supporting cast. It is a must read for any Wonder Woman fan.

If you liked the confrontation between Wonder Woman and Batman, then it's important to mention the Amazing Amazon's holding her own against the Man of Steel in 1977 Superman vs. Wonder Woman giant sized one shot special and its post crisis on infinite Earth revamp appearing in Action Comics #600.
Freaking huge fan of Wonder Woman., she one of my top three personal favorite superheroes., the other two are Batman and Spider-Man., I have the biggest collection of Wonder Woman paraphernalia that I've collected over the years from comics to all three seasons of the 1970's tv series with Lynda Carter., the animated dtv movie with Keri Russell voicing the titled character., and other Wonder Woman themed merchandise.,,.
I have been trying to find out what wonder woman trades would be good to read, and really have no clue, I started reading wonder woman when they released her 600 comic, witch they changed her origin in & then the new 52 happen almost after world and wasn't sure what good wonder woman titles there were to read. so far i have found The Legend of Wonder Woman and Sensation Comics to be the best. but thanks for the list, i now have a few trades to look for.

Vera Evans That was a crossover comic between multiple series. Mostly about the Justice League/Superman.
She never beat a mind-controlled Superman.

Wonder Woman fans, I've got a bit of trivia I think you might like.
I was watching CNN this afternoon (8/2/23), and one of the reporters interviewed the Michigan Attorney General. In the MI AG's office you could clearly be see a poster of Wonder Woman (I believe the artwork was by the iconic George Perez).
I *knew* A League of One would be at the top.
I love Wonder Woman, but as beautiful the art was, thinking about her choices, she could have talked to her friends(friends: people who you trust and who trust you, who you care about and who care about you). She could have told them the whole story, placing emphasis on the importance that she face the dragon alone. Who knows, they might have understood.
But, instead, she took the time to get some nymphs to help her "save" her "friends"(btw, getting outside help voids the "she took them down alone" belief, imo). She used their trust to sucker punch them(because it was her, they never thought to be on alert), breaking their trust, jeopardizing their friendship. On top of that, she *risked their lives*, putting them in pods(with finite air), and launched them into an asteroid belt with debris similar in size and shape, *then* weakened Superman so it would take him *longer* to find them.
What if something happened to any one of those pods? What if one of them was damaged and the *friend* inside *died*? What if, in his weakened state, something happened to Superman, and he was either delayed too long or captured(or was incapacitated himself)? If just *one* of their *friends* died because of what she did, even if WW survived and saved the world, she would be *solely responsible for her friend's death*. Superman, and any survivors of her extremely rash "plan", would take a *long* time, if ever, in forgiving her. And I feel that, if one of those pods ended up being a casket, WW would be devastated beyond measure, and may never forgive herself either.
Am I a Batman fan? Yes. But I'm also a WW fan. I love WW, which is why I believe A League of One is one of the number of "bad writings" she has endured. In this, I feel she came off consumed by fear, that fear overrode any thought of communication with her friends about the situation. That fear blocked out the possibility that her friends might understand, and let her stop the monster. She acted more on feeling than thought, unable to even consider actually *trusting her friends*. Instead, she risked their friendship, their trust, and even their lives.
Her heart was in the right place, as it is often so. But her fear corrupted her nobility of heart, and made her make an *extremely dangerous* gamble, one that *could have* cost her her soul, even if she beat the dragon and saved the world.
Batman is Batman. His childhood is why he strives to *always* have an edge, *always* be ready should the worst come about. But like Superman, WW exemplifies the better view of things, indeed a more *pure* view of the goodness in man(frakk "political correctness", by this meaning of man, I mean people). A balance of heart and mind, love and compassion with fair-mindedness and reason. Strength to fight, but gentleness to hold.
I'm sure I'm in a minority with this, but as beautiful as the art was, the writing was not exactly one of WW's better portrayals. Yes, she showed selflessness in her battle with the dragon, but her setup for the battle, it fell very short of that nobility.
I liked it, but yeah, not her best.

Wonder Woman: The Once and Future Story, should be read by all girls and school teachers. I bought many copies for my son and his wife to share with their students. From what I understand it helped some of their students. Wonder Woman can be a very good role model for girls of all ages.

No thanks. There's too much batman as it is. The less people know about him the more his presence will diminish and more worthy heros can start to filter up. Like WW for instance.

I think the DC animated movie verse should follow the New 52, and then when done covert Rebirth and pre-fashpoint stories into movies, because N52 is porbably easier to understand a gain new superhero fans, through the DC Animated movie verse.

No he shouldn't.
He was the first writer in a long time who did something original with the character. He also made her more of a badass. He also depicted the Greek Gods as a giant, messed-up family of dickheads. which is always fun.

Wonder Woman was a character I never really cared for. I liked her,DGMW, but didn't follow her adventures. However, when I saw her solo animated movie, I gained some kind of weird interest. Like, I still won't follow her adventures, but I love when she appears(Why was she in BvS again?).
Because BvS is the basis of the JL movie. You can't have the League with 2/3 of the trinity.
