Jay Thornton Arrow wasn't their prime example of her, Bertanli originated from the comics and not from the show. Two very different characters, one resigns in Gotham, the other in Starling city.

I prefer that they have their own original back story and storyline. I agree, but my point stands on the fact that this is rarely, if ever, mentioned, at least in descriptions outside the immediate comic world. DC has not done a good job promoting this - the fault is theirs.

Also, superheroes are like a bunch of cool kids/honor students at school. A Lot of time, they are hypocrite and can also be the bullies sometime. But since their victims are the bad guys, people with criminal records, it's "All good!".

It's totally my favorite thing when people forget, about Cassandra Cain, probably one of the most complex and important characters in the DC universe, with an incredible backstory and admitted by batman himself that she could probably defeat him in a fair fight, died twice, has never had an actual love interest, has a learning disability, is a woman of color, and daughter of a world renowned assassin and the best martial artist in the world, ok, that's fine, whatever

Silk Spectre, Saturn Girl, Wonder Girl, all choices who could've been on here instead of Hawk Girl. The only reason she's even so people even know her is because of Justice League: The Animated Series and she was only on there because they changed the line-up to be politically correct and even then she was that popular on the show. Harry Morris Because they're not as famous as the other ten heroines in this list. Perhaps if this were a top 20... but yes, at least Carrie Kelly should have gotten an honorable mention.
I know Vixen isn't that popular a character, but her African heritage makes her one of the more unique and diverse figures in the DCU. I get that you had to skip out on Amanda Waller because she's almost always antagonistic in her stories, but she's always fighting for the good cause (but then again, so does Catwoman and you had to remove her for obvious reasons). I'm not altogether fond of using sidekicks here, the only reason I agree with Barbara Gordon being on the list is because as Oracle she is part of the Birds of Prey and not just a Batman sidekick. Big Barda is another really interesting space-Amazon so there's that. I really like "Jade" -- Alan Scott's daughter -- as a GL. From the Endless you have Delirium, who is always an extremely fun character to read, not to mention powerful and occupies a certain brand of fantasy that Wonder Woman or J.R.R. Tolkien's fiction is tonally different from. There's also Katana, who's enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in mainstream adaptations... ECKohns It might be convoluted, but it does make some sense. Slade was in love with Shado, and her death combined with the fact that his mind was all scrambled by the Mirakuru makes for a sensible, if a bit underwhelming motivation. Slade used Isabel to take Oliver's company, thus depriving him of all his funds as well as giving Slade access to all of Queen Consolidated's technology. And Sebastion was in charge of creating and leading the Mirakuru Army, him becoming Mayor was just what Slade gave him in return for his work. He blackmailed Oliver to try to get him to kill Ra's so that he would no longer be hunted by the League. And Laurel is better than she was the previous seasons, at least she's actually doing something now.

Silk Spectre, Saturn Girl, Wonder Girl, all choices who could've been on here instead of Hawk Girl. The only reason she's even so people even know her is because of Justice League: The Animated Series and she was only on there because they changed the line-up to be politically correct and even then she was that popular on the show. I know Vixen isn't that popular a character, but her African heritage makes her one of the more unique and diverse figures in the DCU. I get that you had to skip out on Amanda Waller because she's almost always antagonistic in her stories, but she's always fighting for the good cause (but then again, so does Catwoman and you had to remove her for obvious reasons).
I'm not altogether fond of using sidekicks here, the only reason I agree with Barbara Gordon being on the list is because as Oracle she is part of the Birds of Prey and not just a Batman sidekick.
Big Barda is another really interesting space-Amazon so there's that. I really like "Jade" -- Alan Scott's daughter -- as a GL.
From the Endless you have Delirium, who is always an extremely fun character to read, not to mention powerful and occupies a certain brand of fantasy that Wonder Woman or J.R.R. Tolkien's fiction is tonally different from.

ECKohns It might be convoluted, but it does make some sense. Slade was in love with Shado, and her death combined with the fact that his mind was all scrambled by the Mirakuru makes for a sensible, if a bit underwhelming motivation.
Slade used Isabel to take Oliver's company, thus depriving him of all his funds as well as giving Slade access to all of Queen Consolidated's technology. And Sebastion was in charge of creating and leading the Mirakuru Army, him becoming Mayor was just what Slade gave him in return for his work.
He blackmailed Oliver to try to get him to kill Ra's so that he would no longer be hunted by the League. And Laurel is better than she was the previous seasons, at least she's actually doing something now.
TheTaskmaster Yeah. What makes it even worse, is that she doesn't even really look the part. I really despise her costume. It looks so much like the Dark Knight Rises Selena Kyle, only with a really stupid looking trench coat.
