Nice timed merge in from the plow coming up the on ramp.
New #Olympic sport : Synchronized Snow Plowing 🙏🏼
already supported by @Redbull 🤣
As a lifelong Minnesotan, I really love this video. It gives all drivers hope that they really can make it through another winter.
Thing of beauty! Migrants incoming. Eee
I like the way the plow coming onto the highway fell right in line. Stay safe...
All the commenters saying the road looks worse have obviously never lived or driven in Minnesota during the winter. Looks can be deceiving people. That road was infinitely safer with salt spread and shoulders/break down lanes open and available. Minnesota road crews are top notch! Give it 20 mins and that road will look as if it hasn't seen a single snowflake. And all that while keeping traffic moving.
Minnesota snowplow drivers are insanely skilled. They can do this in a total whiteout. First plow touches the guardrail with the edge of its plow, the second touches the end of the first plow with it's plow and so on. We tried to automate this in the early 2000s. No machine could perform better then humans. Respect!
Why did it look worst after they passed?
It was worst after they passed buy they unblock left lane and emergency lane plus they throw salt so snow will melt and it will be clear again in like one hour
Was thinking the same lol
They were mainly clearing the left breakdown shoulder and moving it all the way to the right.
Do you not see how much snow they moved?
Thats exactly what I thought 🤣🤣🤣
God bless these people who keeps our roads open. When I was a little girl, our roads were dirt. All neighbors had to get out to shovel streets open.
I live in a city where we do not get snow...So this looks impressive to me...And the motorists behind the snow plowers seem to be moving at a safe speed and keeping proper distance...IMPRESSIVE People...keep up the good work.
It's like a rural traffic jam in texas during harvest time. No one really minds being stuck behind a combine or a sprayer. We get it. Same up north with snow on the road. They get it.
That's no always the case.

Thanks for the hard work guy's and be safe.
That driver with the weird plow-trailer-thing is skilled... Not many jobs would require being able to drive a vehicle that wide.
And he went around the snow on the overpass dropping minimal material onto the roadway below. True professional.
At first I thought it was drifting lol
Yeah it’s called a Tow Plow. I live in Indiana and we use one.
It sucks getting behind them but they do a fantastic job!
Our snow removal personnel are absolutely awesome! Thanks guys!
Thats so satisfying to watch. And unexpectedly heartwarming
My full respect to these guys that get out & do this kind of work!! it would be SOOO nice if every state had this or these plows doing this, specially when they "know" it's fixing to hit!! Im in Lubbock Tx and I've lived here 45 yrs, I've never seen one working the roads.. idk about Amarillo Tx.. or in Dallas.. but Lubbock doesn't work their roads.... cost too much money !!! Stay blessed
The issue is you guys don't get much weather like this. Same thing in Oklahoma. I talked to a plow driver yesterday and they were all tired and overworked. They never drop salt only sand so when they try to plow if they do happen to get all of the snow off of the road it just leaves a sheet of ice behind. Hard to do your job when you don't have the basic necessities lol. They were doing more harm then good and not even getting a break for rest.
Dallas has plows and salt trucks. I rarely see either, but they exist.
@@TwazkemUSAbi q
A lot better than tossing the snow into oncoming traffic!
That would never happen.
/s
The number of people who don’t invest the thought-time to comprehend that they’re clearing the left shoulder. *smh*
Wow,!! Looks like a parade. Very cool.
The plows really didn't look like they improved the road much lol
They don't
They moved most of the snow from the middle of the road to the side. If left unchecked, the innermost lane eventually becomes too dangerous to drive and traffic becomes more congested.
That’s what it looks like to those possibly not intelligent.
The impressions from the couch. Are you obese, unemployed or a "blue collet"? Just out of curiosity

If cops/firefighters/doctors are heroes.plow truck drivers are 2 times heroes 💪💪💪💪 cheers everyone 👋
Depends what you consider a hero. They are just doing their job. Take home a paycheck. If they didn't want to do it, someone else will. They know what they are getting into. The word hero is thrown around to lightly nowadays. You will never know a true hero, A hero does selfless acts of kindness because it's good, not for the glory. A thank you is a form of payment, it makes you feel good. That's selfish not selfless.

That's how it should be done ..great job.

very similar to Greece :D :D
It's stuff like this that makes the us great.
AMAZING AND EXTREMLY INTERESTING.. TY 😊
I've seen this before on major highways here. They have it down to an art form and perfectly. Well shot video!
Here in the south if we get snow like that everything shuts down!!
the timing with the plow on the on ramp was awesome
The should do shows where they drive in formation. Like the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds.
The Orange Sloths.
Truck driver here.
When it snows my truck is parked Ppl just drive way too slow...
Going 25mph lol
Real outlaws know what I'm talking about not these new truckers
The 1st truck plows the rail. Then the 2nd truck plows his snow. Then the 3rd truck plows the 2nd trucks snow and so on
It’s scary how close ppl follow in snow on the highway. In ideal conditions, it’s still recommended to give 3 car lengths at highway speeds, but these ppl are 1 car away in snowing conditions. I know they’re probably seasoned drivers in snow but all it takes is one person to mess up or spin out and you got a pileup situation.
Amazing sight you are lucky to see one snow plough on the British road system in bad winter weather

This is the cutest thing.
Being a former Saint Paulite, I recognize this part of I-94 Westbound, by the 3M complex.
Wow now that is progress and solid brain work
It is. Look at the opposite side of the highway… give it time for salt and brine to activate.
Good job 👍
Looks impressive, but the aftermath is no different!
Each truck has a material spreader, and we treat our salt with a tacky substance that binds to the roadway even in subzero temps. 20 minutes after the trucks went through the lanes were just as clear as the opposite side- probably done by the same crew
This is how its done proper.
I love it with snow plows travel in herds.
Thank you!
Just wondering how they did such a good job on the opposite side of the highway...it's like as though the snow felled on on one side of the road...
Salt after shoveling probably
@@bensears7499 The salt is the key, it takes a while though.
Other side was done earlier.
"Eastbound and downnnnn, loaded up and truckin'..."
If this ever happened in Perth, Western Australia itd be CHAOS!!
Noone here knows how to merge properly lol
Being first stuck behind the plow truck 🤬
Much respect ✌☮🕊
These guys are geniuses
nice video continue
1:01 nice but the only problem is that most of the road was in better condition *before* they 'plowed' it
No, they opened up an additional Lane on the left.
Team work great driving!
It's so weird that it looks exactly the same. In Sweden there would be no trace of snow anymore.
Michigan can learn a lesson from these guys
We use same system here in Sweden.
Good place to be...in back of a plow.
So thankful for PRESIDENT TRUMP for providing enough funds through 2024.
Why do they run the tow plow in the far right as the tail, we in Canada run out in second position and have the tail truck a regular plow with salted and drop wing. Hard to watch for cars being a tail tow plow.
Probably so the one truck can do the ramps in one shot, but it would be safer to just put 2 truck with wings on the ramps
Made no sense to me as well.
To get the shoulder of the road
@@noahhassler6134 can still do shoulder of road with a regular plow, plow and tow plow has to weave in and out past bull noses all the time, just figured it would be easier to run a regular plow for shoulder work
@@DesertCobra72 agreed
Αν γίνει αυτό στην ελλάδα θα έρθει το τέλος του κόσμου
Lol
Nice video
I can’t help but think the road looked better before the plows came through…
Look at the opposite side of the highway and rethink that… they’re putting down salt and brine which takes time to fully activate. Plus plowing out the inside lane which, if cold/windy enough) would turn to ice and cause damage/wrecks/death.
С нормальной скоростью едут... А у нас камазы на МКАД прутся 10-15км/ч, и пробку за собой на 10км тащат
Какие 10-15 закусывать надо.Позавчера ехал 40-50 км/ч
That's teamwork!
The last guy is about to lose his tow....
No, it’s all attached securely. It’s called a tow plow it’s intended to plow 2 lanes at once.
thank u my big headed friend
With the tokyo drift trailer, yeeee!
Annnnnnd, this is how it is done 👏👏👏
take note rogue plowguy
The road was clear from snow before plowing only..they made it worse..
Well done Guy's 👏
Like the blue angels but for snow plowing.
That salt corrosion speeds up vehicle damage 100 fold and high way structural integrity as bridges etc. as well. The riparian systems suffer unnatural salt level damage.
That amount wouldn't even get the plows out, here in B.C.
Do this tag team plowing every year quick and easy.
Снега то толком нет. Что там чистить? И не почистили толком ничего, как было так и осталось.
That's America the way it should be.
Они снег размазывают по дороге😆
Wow, look at that. They didn't even throw it onto the other side of the freeway!
So that’s why highways are so slow during the winter
Plowing for our freedom!
Wow 👍
Sure glad my drives r not behind this
Lol
1:07 - The plowing system doesn't work on merges it seems!
That on-ramp tho.
Lol
Is it me or does the road look the same as before they plowed?
More snow on the road after they plowed it away 😂
Lol why this is in the news. I wonder if people in the State thinks snow disappeared magically.
Girls: Maybe he cheating on me
Boys:
🤦♂️stfu
I hope a city official didn't video this and post it. If so Next time look at it first
That was a complete waste of time, sums up alot of what happens in the world today, the road is exactly the same before and after the ploughs. The only difference is the salt they are putting on.
Those drivers got it !
You guys have never plowed and have no idea how it works and little common sense, but plenty of uneducated, stupid comments lol… look at the other side of the highway which they’ve already done. Those trucks are removing the snow fell the inside lane off the barrier wall (which will turn to ice if cold enough and turn into a ramp basically). Think damage/crashes/death. They’re also putting down salt/brine which takes time activate and melt the snow) in less than 1 hour that road will look great. I’ve done this for years, it’s stressful, dangerous and tiring. The cars so close behind them makes it worse, and the people who have no common sense or understanding of how this works complaining with rude, uneducated comments make the job even more thankless.
0:32 The crew on the opposite direction did a much better job! 🥺
Takes a lot of communication to pull that off
Those cars were following too close
